Although this is a typical 'estate pub' in terms of its location, it is far better than many. The Food is good and the beer choices are excellent. We often drink the wine and have never had a bad drop.

Wonderful food and very efficient. Genuine authentic dishes with high quality produce. The only thing to spoil the occasion was I felt like a second class citizen after my husband, and I was the one paying the bill. I asked for water for myself they brought it and served to him even though he didn't even ask for any. There was a female waiter who was almost pushed out of the way by a male waiter i thought that was uncalled for. The food was delightful though and well worth the visit.

Food came in drips and drabs as they were busy and some of our order was missing and they were very unpleasant and we left early without finishing our food as we waited over one and half hours for total food order.

Would not order again chips over cooked about 3 times food was horrible and water coming from food had some Indian in my time but this was the worst

Been coming here for 20+ years and literally never had a bad curry. Live in Newcastle now and still havent found a better take away than Haltwhistle Tandoori.

Best Indian food around, award winning takeaway for the last 3-4 years iv tried others and Dihshad in Choppington is the best around its been my favourite for 20+years. Wasn't sure what i wanted tonight so Raj and Barry (owners) made me an absolute gorgeous madrass like meal , full of flavour with that madrass kick .... A must try...thank you Raj, Barry and the Dihshad team 👏 👍🏻

Unfortunately this is not a proper Indian restaurant anymore but a cafe that sells Indian food, the takeaway food was really great and the service was good but if you're looking for a sit in meal then it's disappointing.

Good food, but over half an hour late delivery. I would prefer they have us a delivery window if they can't keep to a specific time. I called to follow up on the order and the lady on the phone wasn't apologetic at all, just said it was out.

A reasonable meal at an affordable price Flavours were a bit bland and the curry sauce non specific Ambience spoilt by a large screen TV with Bollywood music Overall quite tatty

First time and last time chips are frozen chips the curry tray was half empty

Just had a takeaway.... Chicken jalfrezi . Which was the same sauce as Tandoori. The chicken was very chewy & tough, with the only heat coming from half size chillis & huge pieces of onions. Also the bahji’s were hard on the outside,not leaving very much to eat inside!!! Won’t be ordering from Wylam Tandoori again 👎

Just had delivery madras’s Piza which was lovely, chips were ok but mixed kebab meat with chicken was dreadful, tasted as if it was cheap frozen kebab meat very thick and chewy 🤢

Have to say it has to be the worst food I've had from a take away. Undercooked bread and barely edable food. Will not be using again. Could be a bad day but .....
