We arrived at the last minute but Nancy was kind enough to still serve us we had tea and cakes which were fantastic. (Most excellent as my husband says.) Danish apple cake and ginger and sweet potato cake.
The café is clean, inviting, interesting with an array of any cake/dessert you could possibly fancy. We didn't even have time to look at the furniture and other arty items so will have to go again when we come back on holiday.
Nancy is so nice and hospitable.
This place is superb. The food is divine, the place is spotless , food is excellent value for money. Very dog friendly and to top it off the staff are just the nicest people ever. You would be daft not to visit.
Highly recommended
This is a little hidden gem! Totally vegan (dog friendly) cafe, small and compact with beautiful cakes on display. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming and this little cafe is a must visit on a Friday or Saturday! I had a slice of the chocolate and raspberry cake which was the best vegan cake I have ever tasted! Their signature coffee from a cafetière was also delicious! A lovely visit to a place I’ve been wanting to go to for a long while. I will definitely return!

An amazing experience. Robin is an outstanding host and the food was out of this world. We celebrated our ruby wedding anniversary here and it made a memorable occasion even more memorable. We spent time looking at all the animals, emu, highland cattle to name a few. The best time was in the Obbit house where we listened to great music and laughed all night. Excellent!
We loved our evening in Coxon and Coxon. Superb choice of wines and very reasonably priced. We shared a charcuterie platter…..delicious. The staff are very relaxed and friendly . We will be back!
First visit here and very impressed. Extremely good value for money considering the quality of the food. A similar meal at a cafe last week cost over 50% more but was nowhere near as tasty as your food.

I'd give this place 10 star's if it were possible!
I visited with work colleagues as we were based in Otterburn and travelled past daily. It was so good our group went 2 day's in a row.
The Thai food is amazing.......I mean out of this world, the cakes awesome and the service faultless. We were a pain with our credit card receipt requirements but the guy (assuming owner) was very accommodating. He would even take our take away orders in advance of us finishing.
I am gutted to live so far away as I would definitely visit regularly. Yum, yum, yum, yum, YUM!
We only come to Corbridge once a year and we love coming to this amazing shop. We sat inside to have an excellent quality flat white coffee accompanied by a chocolate each. We then bought a box of chocolates to take home. The quality of the chocolates is outstanding and the chocolates are large and weighty so at £1 each they are a bargain compared to the very finest quality chocolates we can get in London.
just incredible food!
the new afternoon tea is the best yet! we sampled this for the jubilee and i was just taken aback with every taste! truly amazing as was the service from i think was the owner?
this is what makes this hotel
We came to this little cafe in the heart of Britain as we had heard the food was delightful and the village was lovely. 100% accurate on both counts. Chef Carlos has a great imagination and it shows in the special sandwiches and desserts served. The sandwich I had was a chicken, ham, and avocado with garlic mayo on toasted white bread. My wife had the butternut squash falafel wrap with whipped feta and pickled beets. Chef's lovely wife Nicole extends charm and grace taking orders and dishing friendly conversation. We finished our meal with a slice of lemon icebox pie with a crust of ground digestives. It was light and delicate with a delicious taste. We walked around the village loving the smiles and friendly greetings of the village folk. Walking along the banks of the Tyne is beautiful and we visited the sites of Vindolanda and the Roman Army Fort along Hadrian's Wall. The museums are well curated and the sense of historical awe was powerful. This visit was a highlight of our trip to England from California.

Went to this tearoom today only to find it’s closed and has been since mid December apparently, it says on here open now, shame because staff were very welcoming and food was good.
We walked quite a challenging path across fields to reach this delightful pub. The beer is good, the food from the mobile unit in the car park is tasty and the view is refreshing. Just to cap it all the landlord Chris has a lovely smile is obviously well liked by the locals.
