Having recently moved to Blyth was very please to find the Quiet Cafe just up the road. The best breakfast I’ve had in ages, would also recommend the breakfast baps as well to eat in or take away. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble will be going back to try an afternoon tea.

This is a great place to eat. There are daily specials like beef casserole and dumplings that are home cooked and such good value. We have been eating here since it opened and it never disappoints. Would highly recommend

Saw this was new and had to give it a try and glad I did. Immaculately clean inside, very fresh and wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Good range of basic food on the menu, well prepared and very reasonably priced. Its not called the the Quiet Coffee Shop for nothing. Very peaceful and sedate and a good place to get away and gather your thoughts. Excellent service and quality. This will become my regular eatery in Blyth

The coffee stop absolutely went above and beyond for a 50th party that I arranged the food was exceptional and everyone off the guests said the same, more than enough food and amazing service I would rate Angela and George 100% if I could I honestly can not thank them enough for making the occasion so special.

I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.

What a wonderful place to have a cup of tea! We were visiting the Heritage Centre next door and were taken in by the quirkiness of the idea and decided to have lunch in the carriage. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young man who gave us a few minutes to make our lunch choice. The tea was served in a traditional tea pot in “proper” china tea cups which was just perfect. Our food choices were soup and a cheese scone, ham and cheese sandwich and a sausage and bacon bun, all presented lovely and totally delicious. We were on holiday in the area and wish we live closer as I’d visit all the time. The prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff faultless.

We arrived for breakfast at 10am Sunday & no sign of life at all. Maybe update your opening times on Tripadvisor. Food could very well be delicious …. We’ll never know 🥺

We’ve ordered Sunday lunch a few times now from Stobhill bait and have never been disappointed! I’m very fussy about the quality of meat in any takeaway food & have tried both the pork & beef lunches, both were great. Veg & gravy lovely & really decent portion sizes! An excellent solution if you’re just on your own or can’t be bothered to cook.
