Excellent cafe, well worth the stop. Food was delicious. Lovely shopping section too. Local produce.

Guru Coffee Shop is an absolute delight, offering perfectly baked quiche with fresh salad, crisp chips, and a dessert and coffee that are the perfect end to any meal. What makes this place truly special, though, are the lovely owners that are so friendly and welcoming. Their kindness, combined with the cosy atmosphere, makes this a must-visit spot for anyone in the area!

Lovely warm welcome from the staff. Nice selection of snacks and light meals. The homemade hearty, vegetable soup was delicious. Great selection of locally sourced produce and cakes.

Really nice surprise find whilst deviating off the A1 due to roadworks. Four tables inside. Lots of lovely drinks and cakes and all sorts of other supplies. Delicious hot chocolate, Superb millionaire shortbread, quite fabulous lemon tart. The owner and her assistant are lovely ladies too.

Fantastic little place, a welcome sight when cycling to Berwick upon tweed on the 13th sept. Had a lovely chat with the owner and one of her colleagues. Enjoyed a cup of tea and a piece of quiche and a scotch egg, which were delicious. They had lots of other lovely things on the menu and some yummy looking cakes too. Definitely recommend a little stop there. Whether cycling like us or walking or just driving through.

Staying literally just across the A1, we'd wanted to pop in here during our six night say but didn't manage to - so we definitely needed to before heading back to London and our long drive home! A beautiful little café, shop and eat-in or takeaway spot. Great selection of cakes and extremely friendly!

What a great little cafe. Stopped here on a very wet day as we walked St Cuthbert’s Way. The owner wasn’t troubled at all by how wet we were or the puddles we created in her warm and friendly cafe. We had great coffee and cake and would recommend it to anyone visiting Fenwick.

Came here recently whilst staying in the area and received a warm welcome, with delicious food and coffee. The owner was very kind and I'd recommend visiting if you're in the area!

Great little cafe that serves lovely coffee & teas & variety of food which can change daily. We had 2x coffees a quiche with salad & crisps. Also had a pork pie to take away. The 2 ladies that run it are lovely & friendly & best of all dog friendly with treats available. We sat out in the garden on the bench to enjoy the lovely food. Can highly reccomend popping In for food or drink if in the area.

What a find. Needing refreshment before heading to Lindisfarne, we were delighted with this charming café. Super coffee, lovely cakes and the sort of service you feel you don't get any more, despite us having a just-woken-from-sleep fractious two-year-old. Absolutely perfect. We ended up buying lots to take with us too. Can't recommend it highly enough.

What a wonderful oasis as we neared the end of our walk along St Cuthbert's Way! Hot chocolate and an ice cream hit the spot, as did the lovely service and atmosphere.

A small coffee shop in Fenwick village which also blends and supplies other businesses. There is a nice choice of sweet and savoury treats and of course their excellent coffee.

Having finished a walk we searched on Google for nearby coffee shops. Guru Coffee shop was our choice and it was most certainly the right choice. Immediately on walking through the door we were amazed at how lovely the atmosphere and layout was. Might only be small but they have created a lovely, intimate space. We had coffee's which were lovely. Also sausage roll and cake which were delicious. All that is complimented by the lovely, smiley and friendly staff. If we lived around here this would be our local. We already know we will come here again next trip.

Great drinks, food, and company this morning.

Stopped for breakfast on the way down from Edinburgh and it was perfect! Service was very friendly and the place was adorable, felt very homey. I loved that they had little books and puzzles for you to play; we picked up sudoku! The coffee is soooo good, great flavor and it was made very well. We also enjoyed the food, the cornish pastry is perfection and I loved my tomato cheese toastie. My brother devoured a slice of orange cake, which was presented beautifully. All in all, a great little cafe with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The shop is worth looking at as well!

Really cute little coffee shop and very welcoming. Allows dogs even offers free treats for them or are they.!! Had to get a second mortgage so we could pay for two hot drinks and two slices of cake. Very very very expensive and average.

Had a beautiful late lunch and even the mocha was delicious with real grated dark chocolate. I had a brie and beetroot tart with salad which was superb and my husband had a piece of quiche.

Absolutely fantastic wee cafe, Toasties are beautiful and served with the most delicious chutney. The raspberry polenta cake is to die for, absolutely scrumptious. The coffee is excellent too. The two ladies make you feel very welcome, even the dogs are looked after with dog treats. We will definitely be back.

Top vegan&gluten-free products, cakes and snacks. Wonderful coffee, parfums and muesli. 💕 Love the whole shop and the very friendly owners. Must-stop!

What a wonderful coffee shop! Delicious cakes and coffee. Highly recommend the custard cream flapjack and fruit scone, jam and Rodda's Clotted cream. This was heaven to a Cornish girl half was through a 40 mile bike ride. Just remember....jam first! A warm and friendly atmosphere. Loved our chat with you and yes, the fish and chips from Neptune's were delicious!

A friendly cafe that didn't bat an eyelid when we dripped in this morning to shelter from the rain. The coffee is good and the polenta cake with orange and raspberries was gorgeous and so prettily presented.

Absolutely astonishingly good (very) little cafe & shop. They go above and beyond . . . and then go further! Their latte us delicious. Other customers had what looked to be excellent lunches, so the food is good too. The two ladies, (owners), are really friendly and welcoming. I asked for a simple slice of fruit cake, and it arrived on a plate with a fresh strawberry and a slice of orange, all garnished with a chocolate drizzle. As I said, it was astonishing! (See the photo.) They welcome dogs, too - there's a jar of treats for them. The shop is close to a number of recognised walks, so the cater more for walkers than vehicle traffic. (The parking is almost non-existent. However, we arrived on a particularly rainy day so parking wasn't a problem. Even so, we got the last two available seats. What a gem!

The coffee was delicious and the empire biscuit was the best I have ever had 👍. It definitely refreshed us on a long drive from Leicester to Aberdeen!

The best coffee shop in Northumberland. Claire always makes you feel welcome and the selection of cakes and paninis is amazing. Great little place to stop by on your dog walk or as a pit stop along the A1 👏🏻

Lovely little independent coffee shop with top quality beans and service, just off the A1. Was passing for work and the owner happily whipped up a vegan sandwich on the fly for my travelling companion. Cute gifts, local delicacies and crafts from local makers for sale as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're flying up to Edinburgh or stopping at nearby Lindisfarne or Bamburgh. Next time will take some photos!!

I can't comment about this place as the notice on the door states new October opening times 10am to 4pm daily. I visited on Sunday 29th October to find them closed!! Please have the decency to open when you say you are.

Just had to leave a quick review. Came across this cafe on our 2nd last day of St Cuthbert’s Way. Popped in for ice cream, they'd run out but found a tub of fudge stuff so popped that in some bowls for us, had a lovely coffee too. Sat inside with the dog. Really friendly too. Thank you!!

Lovely village cafe just off the A1. Food was excellent, both the steak and ale pie and sausage roll with salad and handmade chutney were delicious. Only stopped in for a coffee but food looked too good to resist. 100% recommend.

Came across this lovely food /drink stop whilst waiting for family to arrive at Fenwick having walked St Cuthberts Way from Wooler. Perfect place with great food and right on the route. Highly recommend to all.

Having read other positive reviews we called in and it didn't disappoint. We had the best quiche we have ever tasted and the ladies who run the place were lovely. Just perfect.

Wow what a welcome! Found this gorgeous little coffee shop while we were cycling the coast and castles cycle route. The ladies couldn't do enough for our 1 year old son, or us! All the food is delicious and homebaked, and it was such a lovely spot to relax in the sun and chat. One of the best cafes we've ever been to! 🥰🥰

Out on my bike and popped in to this Lovely tiny little Cafe in the village of Fenwick just off the A1 near Holy island, Lindisfarne... The 2 lovely ladies who run this place give you a fabulous welcome, the service and attention to detail is first class. I had a slice of savoury mince pie which was meat and pastry perfection, a lovely cuppa with extra hot water if required... Dog friendly and a lovely quaint village setting. 10/10 could've stayed all day and worked my way through the menu....Superb❤️

Had a lovely steak pie and shared a flapjack, really wonderful cafe, probably the best one anywhere near holy island. Stop here for a light lunch, you won't regret it.
