This is a great place to eat and shop when visiting Craster or the area; take care not to miss it! We enjoyed hot drinks, a sausage roll (though I did expect it to come warm and I should have thought to ask) and a panini. There are some lovely cards and gifts inside, plants outside and seating in both. Dog-friendly. Enjoy!

We love coming to the Stable Yard every time we’re on holiday and the cakes and coffee were, as always, fabulous. Just let down a bit by some sloppy service by one of the staff who couldn’t really be bothered to clear the table, despite being asked twice.

Popped in for lunch after a great walk to the castle and back. We haven’t been for three years, and are just visiting the area on holiday. Even better than I remembered. Amazing sausage and apple roll and the freshest most wonderful raspberry and white chocolate cake ever. Absolutely first class, plus joy of joys: teapots for those of us who love a cuppa. I believe the baker is called Kate. She is an outstanding baker and deserves some sort of medal for her baking as far as I’m concerned. Lovely staff, pretty shop and beautiful plants for sale too. Highly recommended. Indoor and outdoor seating and a small car park.

Absolutely perfect. The best place we ate in in three weeks away. Food was cooked well, served with a good helping of coleslaw not a TSP just so you can say it's there, flavoursome crisps. The cakes were also delicious. Every time we visit Crasyer this is where we go, forget the overcrowded smokey pub! We enjoyed sitting under the veranda and just being there. Missed the nice plant selection tho! Nice to eat out and not feel ripped off either, we lived it. Keep up the good work, don't change a thing.

We asked the girl to warm up the sausage roll and served it warm but she didn't and it came cold. The bacon in the bacon sandwich was over cooked so my wife left it. The girls were to lazy to bring the coffee before the food, like they normally do. The owner, who is excellent and always nice, was having a coffee with a friend so was not to blame for this A complete waste of £15

I get so used to food being disappointing that I almost don’t notice anymore. So when I get something absolutely delicious I feel it should be highlighted. Stopped here for lunch with friends today. Ordered a humble bacon, Brie and caramelised onion panini, that came with crisps and coleslaw. It was probably the best panini that I have ever eaten. Loads of creamy melted Brie, bacon that delivered its own punch and sweet caramelised onions. Absolutely delicious. The place itself is cosy, friendly and welcoming and the staff are very welcoming too. Thanks for a great lunch.

The cakes and savoury delights were so tasty and beautifully presented. The gifts and homeware were of excellent quality and variety which led to an unexpected shopping spree! Unfortunately there were no plants for sale due to supply issues. If you want to go because you want plants only, best ring first. We have often driven past and said to each other we must go in next time we stay in Craster and finally we did. What a wonderful place to have a cup of tea! We were visiting the Heritage Centre next door and were taken in by the quirkiness of the idea and decided to have lunch in the carriage. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young man who gave us a few minutes to make our lunch choice. The tea was served in a traditional tea pot in “proper” china tea cups which was just perfect. Our food choices were soup and a cheese scone, ham and cheese sandwich and a sausage and bacon bun, all presented lovely and totally delicious. We were on holiday in the area and wish we live closer as I’d visit all the time. The prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff faultless.
