This lovely dog friendly cafe is situated opposite the car park for the Warkworth Castle. It is well worth going there if you are visiting the castle or the village and fancy some coffee and cakes whilst enjoying a great view of the castle. The cakes and scones are home made and very tasty. You can also have a bacon/sausage sandwich served on fresh white or brown bread rolls. There is seating inside and outside and even if it is raining, there are some outside seats under cover. Sitting there eating tasty cake looking at the stunning castle is a real treat. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go there when we visit Warkworth again.

The cakes and pies are amazing and at a very reasonable price. The service was friendly and it’s all complemented by the views over the castle

Great welcome from Liz and Gillian volunteering in the coffee shop on Tuesday. Even let us in before 10 since it was raining. Fresh home baked cakes, scones, pies/quiche and the usual filled rolls. Good price too. It's currently open Tues/Wed/Thurs from 10.00 and is dog friendly. Interesting chat about the local area with Phil the club chairman. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Warkworth.

This place is a little hidden gem. You can either sit inside looking over the cricket pitch or outside looking over the castle. It's super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The quiches, pies, scones and cakes are amazing, all home made. I had a warm cheese scones and apple and lemon cake, I can honestly say they were some of the best I've ever had. I would go as far as to say they were superb.

The cricket club has a bar/cafe which is open to non members and can also be booked for events. There is a cafe and full bar service, pies sourced locally and home made cakes and sweet treats, plus ice cream available. All the favourites cakes are there, lemon drizzle, chocolate, treacle and date, fruit or cheese scones, and the apple and fresh cream cake is superb. The location is in front of the historic Warkworth Castle which is an English Heritage site. Warkworth has a number of cafes, restaurants, and pubs but the Cricket Club is literally 200 metres from the Castle car park. There are inside and outside seating areas and very friendly staff.

The postal address had a Morpeth post town, even though it is close to Amble. Finding it with the aid of a satnav was essential. A lovely sunny day and the field out front was very busy. All sorts were there, a food concession was selling pizza. The beer was varied, but great. Just a pity i was driving, no carry out bright beer is available. Only in cans. Such a shame, would have loved to taken away some of their heavier beer approx 6% ABV Staff were friendly and the interior accommodation was good.

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

This place is a totally fantastic! Do not miss out on the 'Kipper in a Bun'. I wavered, and thought to maybe have a 'Banger in a Bun' although was so glad I went with the Kipper. Perfectly cooked Kippers, Lemon mayonnaise, in a soft white roll eaten on the beach was just divine. Wife's comments were 'That was Lush!'. Great friendly service and all locally sourced delicious produce. Even the coffee was from Holly Island! All in a free car park!
