We’ve had Kooked.north a few times now, both the frozen meals and the hot lunch menu. We recently travelled up to Wooler from Alnwick just to sample the lunch menu which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the soup and I had a sausage flatbread which was tasty and filling. The frozen meals were a godsend when we recently had our first child, after a long day of baby feeding and changing nappies it was lovely to be able to put the meals straight into the oven in the knowledge that we were eating healthy, locally sourced meals with minimal effort on our part. My absolute favourite item on the menu is the sticky toffee pudding (I wasn’t even a fan of sticky toffee before I tried this and now it’s my absolute favourite dessert). The owner, Laura, is so passionate about her meals and you can tell that every effort has gone into creating the best flavours with the best ingredients. I just wish the meals were more local to us because I’d be there every lunchtime!

I can’t recommend Kooked North enough! The food is absolutely outstanding and makes your taste buds come alive! I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner from them and I couldn’t fault them at all! The service you get at kooked north is of such a high standard, so friendly and a very talented cook! I love that the food is different from other places in the area and I can honestly say all the meals I’ve had from them have never disappoint! Thanks again! Can’t wait to try taco tuesdays soon.

Where do I start here, Kooked.north was an amazing find on a little business park just beside the laugh head garage. We booked in for kooked north's new Friday night takeaway with a difference - and wow!!! we haven't found anything else that even compares anywhere else around. The food is so fresh, tasty, healthy even & satisfying. We wish we could take it back home with us. The flavours they use marry together exceptionally well leaving you wanting more. unfortunately it was our last night in Wooler so we couldn't have sampled anymore. we will be back though. also the menu itself I wanted to try on of everything so easy to pick from (or not being the case) - something for everyone

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

You have to try afternoon tea here! Likely need to book in advance, we were given a great choice of sandwiches when we booked. On the day, we were seated upstairs right by the window looking over the sea, a fabulous view even on a grey winter afternoon. The food was delicious, more than we could eat though we gave it a good go. Good mix of savoury and sweet, some other afternoon teas elsewhere have too much sweet stuff. Suzanne, the owner, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the cost was so reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful place to have a cup of tea! We were visiting the Heritage Centre next door and were taken in by the quirkiness of the idea and decided to have lunch in the carriage. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young man who gave us a few minutes to make our lunch choice. The tea was served in a traditional tea pot in “proper” china tea cups which was just perfect. Our food choices were soup and a cheese scone, ham and cheese sandwich and a sausage and bacon bun, all presented lovely and totally delicious. We were on holiday in the area and wish we live closer as I’d visit all the time. The prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff faultless.

I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.
