Emporium Ice Cream Parlour in Northumberland

Popped in for a drink after a dog walk (dogs very welcome here) with my husband and daughter. My daughter had a gorgeous and generous milkshake while my husband and I had coffee and tea. The owners are lovely and the cafe was a great, welcoming space with a fun mini ice cream van for the little ones. Our dog was offered a treat (and gladly accepted!) and there was fresh water for him too. We even bought a gift from the lovely selection of gifts and homewards on offer. We didn’t eat but the food looked great and we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely food and friendly staff- scones were amazing. Too cold for outdoor dining in October but the terrace looks great. It’s also got a really nice shop selling gifts and toys and artisan ice cream (clue is in the name I guess)

Amazing, friendly staff who were happy to serve the crowds ice cream on a extremely hot day. Even though they must have been warm themselves. Thank you.

Just had my daughter's 6th birthday party at this amazing place. What a delightful afternoon we all had. Sally, the owner could not had been more amazing with the kids. She took control of everything from the lovely little savory boxes all the kids had at the beginning of the party, the fantastic treats and sweets and delicious ice cream to the brilliant party games. What made the day even better was how the adults joined in the fun and played the games too. My little girl went home very happy and hasn't stopped talking about her fabulous party. Fantastic memories and so much laughter. Thank you Sally, you were truly amazing.

Fantastic ice cream, welcoming staff and lovely seating areas. Visited for ice cream on one of the hottest days this year and was really impressed. Definitely premium ice cream - we tried a few flavours but the apple crumble with huge chunks of apple in it was the pick of the bunch. Would highly recommend a visit.

What a great parlour with fabulous owners! We had a lovely cup of tea in their suntrap of a patio, listening to the birds - so peaceful. Then walked back to our car with delicious ice creams - can recommend the salted liquorice. Their kindness really shone when they took pity on a cubscout who had come in penniless and left with an ice cream - don't all try it!!!!! I can't recommend this place high enough. Decided to visit Corbridge today as its my birthday. Stumbled upon this gem of a place and have told everyone since getting home. I had the Sir Toff a Lot and my husband had the Crowned Viscount and OMG never had a Sundae like it. We both loved them and have sent photos to everyone we know. The couple who own this place are so welcoming and friendly and we had a good joke on with them. When leaving I mentioned it was my birthday and this was my treat, they said if they had known they would have made them more special. I replied there is no way they could have been more special the lady said she would have put a sparkler in. Well done to such a fantastic couple may they remain in Corbridge for a very long time. We will certainly be back

If you visit Corbridge this ice cream parlour is a must for super friendly service from the owners and the best ice cream sundaes, choose from their board or make up your own. There's a terrace out the back which is a sun trap on a lovely day or seating inside. This was my second visit and we weren't disappointed. Will most definitely be returning in the not too distant future. The friendly service is second to none, hence the rating.

We go to Corbridge at least twice a week with our dog and always pop in for a milkshake or ice-cream. our dog loves his ice-cream treats too! the owners are lovely, very friendly and accommodating.

Really lovely ice cream. The fruit flavours were fresh and vibrant whilst the chocolate/pudding flavours were creamy and luxurious. Also our double pushchair fitted through the door and our toddler let us eat in peace whilst happily playing in their children’s play area. What’s not to like?

Emporium not only has the best ice cream but they also held the most beautiful fun filled birthday party for my 7year old son. 15 happy little children enjoyed making their very own ice cream Sunday’s and played lots of party games. Sally and her family looked after us all so well. Super attentive to all of the children's needs and made my son feel very special. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough for a gorgeous party.

Lovely ice creams for humans and special ice cream for dogs. Very friendly service with a great selection of ice creams for take away or eat in. One of our dogs loved the doggy ice cream the other wanted biscotti!

Went in this morning with my two daughters. It was early but ideal for my girls, always love going in as does my oldest and she has always been treated wonderfully by al the staff. Had a nice little talk and natter with it been quiet time but absoloutley loved it. My daughters played happily in the little icecream van in the seated area. Could have sat there all day.
