What a great treat this was after a wet walk back from the beach . Very welcoming , homely , friendly, local find this was . All home made with love & kindness . Wee local chap was great craic as was all the locals who popped in . Turned out owner had her hen doo in my friends local in Kentish Town back in the day !! Keep up the good work ❤️❤️
Absolutely outstanding food and service. Been wanting to try this a while and we we’re not disappointed. The lobster roll was unreal. Unfortunately no scallops today but we will definitely try them on our return. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
We arrived just before closing, so chose from what was already cooked. I had a battered sausage and my husband had a cheese and leek pie, which he said was delicious. We both had chips, which were a huge portion, and really good.
Got to say been over a year since been in morpeth. Last burger was the best for miles
Take 2
OK bun was fresh, plain burger 3 slices cheese and chips and onions rings
No finesse and tasteless
Please revise the burger as for £7 it should be much more

Popped in for a drink after a dog walk (dogs very welcome here) with my husband and daughter. My daughter had a gorgeous and generous milkshake while my husband and I had coffee and tea. The owners are lovely and the cafe was a great, welcoming space with a fun mini ice cream van for the little ones. Our dog was offered a treat (and gladly accepted!) and there was fresh water for him too. We even bought a gift from the lovely selection of gifts and homewards on offer. We didn’t eat but the food looked great and we’ll definitely be back!
Sea View House Promenade, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea NE64 6DA England, England
You have to try afternoon tea here! Likely need to book in advance, we were given a great choice of sandwiches when we booked. On the day, we were seated upstairs right by the window looking over the sea, a fabulous view even on a grey winter afternoon. The food was delicious, more than we could eat though we gave it a good go. Good mix of savoury and sweet, some other afternoon teas elsewhere have too much sweet stuff. Suzanne, the owner, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the cost was so reasonable. I highly recommend this place.
The service, the atmosphere and the quality of food are second to none. The chef and staff show a care and a passion for food and people and this shines through. Even added a special touch at the end of our meal for our anniversary. Simply perfect and the table was so lovely too. Thank you.
This is a wonderful spot in Wooler. The man running the deli was incredibly friendly and knowledgable of the area. We were given cheese samples, which were delicious. I can’t wait to come back!
Run by volunteers as a warm space centre. Limited food but what they have is good and made in the premises. Staff are very friendly, would recommend this place.
Not just an effortless stylish gaff with great coffees and my favourite Chai Latte in the region, it's a social enterprise of real ethical substance. Veggie & Vegan friendly but not exclusive with daily specials to tempt carnivores alike AND top notch homebaking. An asset to Berwick-Upon-Tweed and the region as a whole!
We booked two rooms as we were attending a family party locally.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and of a very high standard throughout .
The breakfast was delicious and the customer service was great from the moment we arrived, to the moment we checked out.
We look forward to visiting again very soon .
