I'd give this place 10 star's if it were possible! I visited with work colleagues as we were based in Otterburn and travelled past daily. It was so good our group went 2 day's in a row. The Thai food is amazing.......I mean out of this world, the cakes awesome and the service faultless. We were a pain with our credit card receipt requirements but the guy (assuming owner) was very accommodating. He would even take our take away orders in advance of us finishing. I am gutted to live so far away as I would definitely visit regularly. Yum, yum, yum, yum, YUM!

A great family-owned Cafe in Ponteland serving authentic Thai cuisine which is top notch. From traditional dishes such as Pad Thai and Red Curry to the inventive lip-smacking Mango and Prawn Salad. Having tried tons of Thai restaurants regionally and generally being left very disappointed, Lemon Grass is consistently excellent with friendly service to boot.

So far I’ve had the beef rendang, Korean beef bulgogi, Thai green curry, prawn and chicken pad Thai and green mango salad. Today I tried the buttered tiger prawns. All wonderful - the food served is super fresh and top quality. Surprisingly, the green curry is my least favourite - that’s not to say it isn’t very good, but it up against some very tasty dishes. My equal favourites (so far) are the beef bulgogi, mango salad, rendang and tiger prawns. My mouth is watering as I write this…

We visited Lemon Grass for lunch today with our twin grandchildren and I can’t praise this place enough. We had a very hangry 4 year old who was so passed hungry he was beside himself. The lovely lady who owns the shop was wonderful with him and once she persuaded him to start eating he thoroughly enjoyed the lovely rice she had cooked especially for them. For the adults the food was absolutely delicious and very good portion size and value for money. The cake afterwards was absolutely beautiful as well. Thanks so much and we’ll definitely be back. If you’re in the vicinity of Ponteland, Lemon Grass is definitely worth a visit!

A fantastic local venue with a warm welcome and top quality food. I usually have the Filipino breakfast which is outstadning, but the Beef Bulgogi is also worth a try. The coffees are the best around and the cakes are a very generous chunk!

Spent about 3hrs!! with a good friend today eating, talking and catching up. Lovely coffee and breakfast croissants. Staff so lovely, will definitely be going back for more. Also learned they did takeaway, pretty close to me, so that's on the cards too.😀

Been here several times for coffee which was good, however I thought on my last visit I would order a coffee and a sausage sandwich, what a mistake, the sandwich came which was a lovely bun complete with one very small sausage in it. I have never ever had a sausage sandwich anywhere with only a tiny single sausage, never again will I return.

The Lemon Grass catered for 30 of us for my wife's birthday at our house. The food was universally agreed to be amazing, the service first class throughout and, overall, represented good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Lemon Grass Deli.

Beautiful authentic thai cooking with amazing tastes in the meals that we have ordered. This is not your bog standard cooking, there is thought and care put in to every meal. Only one criticism if I must, the takeaway meals could be hotter on arrival which would make this venue even better in my opinion. Also had a lunchtime sandwich from here and it was delicious. We will be back!

Me and the wife visited here for a full English breakfast , and I must say it’s one of the best I’ve had , food very fresh and hot , caramel latte best ever, and the staff very friendly . Highly recommend, free car park at the rear.

You have to try afternoon tea here! Likely need to book in advance, we were given a great choice of sandwiches when we booked. On the day, we were seated upstairs right by the window looking over the sea, a fabulous view even on a grey winter afternoon. The food was delicious, more than we could eat though we gave it a good go. Good mix of savoury and sweet, some other afternoon teas elsewhere have too much sweet stuff. Suzanne, the owner, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the cost was so reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful place to have a cup of tea! We were visiting the Heritage Centre next door and were taken in by the quirkiness of the idea and decided to have lunch in the carriage. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young man who gave us a few minutes to make our lunch choice. The tea was served in a traditional tea pot in “proper” china tea cups which was just perfect. Our food choices were soup and a cheese scone, ham and cheese sandwich and a sausage and bacon bun, all presented lovely and totally delicious. We were on holiday in the area and wish we live closer as I’d visit all the time. The prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff faultless.

I was recommended the Bari Tea Brewery by a friend and was not disappointed. The range of teas on offer was vast with many interesting flavours! I had the green ginger tea with a scone which was freshly baked and was very tasty! Service was very good and all the staff very friendly.
