Top quality food, service is very good. Highly recommend !

A cosy warm restaurant on a cold night with friendly staff, but we left with the overriding impression that compared to a number of good Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants we have recently visited, this restaurant provided smaller portions of each chosen item and charged more.

The Taj Tandoori is a gem. Brilliant staff and great value for money with great attention to detail 😌😌😮‍💨

Used this tandoori for the 1st time last night food was excellent opted for lamb Rogan was not disappointed I even phoned them back after eating it and complemented them on will definitely use it again

We looked at all the reviews and thought we'd try this place out whilst working in the area and what a good choice that turned out to be ! We had a warm and friendly greeting when we arrived and took through the arch to a lovely bright and welcoming restaurant The menus look and feel like quality and a very good selection of food to match. We both went through the chef specials and both went for the spicy curry with orange peel in it. Wow what a good choice as it tasted amazing and unlike any curry I've had before We also had some Bombay potatoes, mushroom rice and a garlic keema naan, all of which were delicious and tasty. The owner came and spoke to us and he was lovely, we both told him how much we enjoyed it and we will definitely return next time we are working in Hexham 👌🏻

I’ve been visiting Corbridge Tandoori for many years. The food has never been anything less than superb, and the staff always welcoming and friendly. Top class. Highly recommend

Our first visit and a local recommendation. Yes it was a Saturday night and it was busy but sadly, as we had a taxi booked, our meal took so long to arrive, we had to rush it. The food was great it’s just a shame we couldn’t fully enjoy it. We allowed a good hour and 45 mins and only had a popadom plate to start then a main course, we felt this was sufficient time. Food was good enough to go back, hopefully on a quieter night when we can fully appreciate it.

Visited as we’d received a recommendation and were going to theatre nearby. First impressions were excellent, stylishly kitted out and a warm welcome from the staff….then it got even better! Lovely menu (lots of slightly different options too) and when the food arrived it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We really can’t fault anything….and we’re pretty picky! I had the honey chicken and it was so so tasty. The portions sizes are very generous too. The service was excellent and the prices very reasonable indeed. I really hope this restaurant thrives as they’ve thought of everything and deserves to do well. We’ll definitely come back when we’re next in the area. Thank you for a superb meal
