The best restaurant in Cramlington. Superb Indian food, freshly made and served with a smile always. A very popular venue, tastfully decorated, and such friendly staff, often greeting regulars by name. There's a constant stream of people collecting takeaways too. A warm, friendly place and go to venue for celebrations.

We had friends here from the Gold Coast in Australia and they stated that this the absolute best Indian meal they ever had. They tried the Bengal special dish and raved about it. We will be back again and again !

I have been a regular here since it opened and every single time it has been top notch. I have tried every curry on the Bengal menu and can safely say they are the best around. The service is always friendly and the food is always good - what more could you ask for? I couldn’t recommend Dhamaka’s enough

My husband Duncan and I went for another visit to Dhamaka tonight. As usual we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, Sid and Aayan were our waiters and they were so friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble for them. Sonya is always lovely and friendly too. The food here is amazing, I had chicken shashlik and my husband had lamb rogan the flavours are outstanding and the lamb was really tender. It was a cold night outside but it was so warm and toasty inside. We love the decor it is so tasteful and contemporary. Service and food 5*. Highly recommended.

I’ve been wanting to visit this place for some time now having been a faithful customer to its sister take away in Morpeth for numerous years. I was expecting a more modern Indian eatery , since Indian “street food” is now so popular. (Mowgli) The dining area is a miserable area, a room with dark muddy green walls and dark wood tables. It was cold and lacking any atmosphere. Even before we’d removed our coats we were eagerly approached with the usual offer of poppadoms, we did accept on the 2nd invitation. The popadoms were NOT fresh, and definitely not made to order. The food was mediocre , waiters lacked general “care “ forgetting out cutlery etc and it was a little difficult to get their attention. Dessert I ordered was unavailable, considering there are only three/four desserts and it was 6pm I wasn’t impressed. Food was placed on the table without place mats or care. It was “nice” but nothing to return for. Limited cocktails (I wanted an Aperol Spriz, sadly unavailable.) We won’t be back. I expected so much more, I live in hope but it was the same as all other Indian restaurants stuck in the past.

Well what can I say about this new restaurant, seen lots of great reviews and wow it was just amazing food was fantastic the lamb just melts in your mouth, staff were so polite and very attentive! Will definitely be going back. Thank you team Dhamaka.

A group of 8 of us made our first visit to this restaurant to celebrate an 80th birthday and nobody was disappointed ! Staff were friendly and attentive throughout , the decor and ambience was good plus the Toilets immaculate 👍. Most of us opted for the onion bahjis as starters and they were delicious along with our bottles of cobra . Our party, having 2 with nut allergies & a vegetarian ,ordered different main courses Bhuna , madras , Dansak, Rogan Josh , tikka masala and Dupiaza with various naan breads and pilau rices . Everyone was impressed with the food and the amount of meat in the dishes compared to other places and said it's one of the best meals had and would return . We would all definitely recommend Dhamaka for food and service

Fantastic Indian cuisine in a modern, fresh restaurant with amazing staff. The Onion Bhajis are outstanding and the Bengal Butter Makhani is amazing, a must try when you visit the restaurant and don't get me started on the fantastic naan breads. Gorgeous food, highly recommended.
