Zyka Boutique Restaurant & Lounge in Northumberland

Stunning. Food, Service, Ambience…all great, made wonderful by Mash and his team of friendly, attentive, and very patient waiters who were even able to laugh at my jokes. The real treat though was the excellent food, competing with the best of my Indian friends’ meals. Just so much flavour and massive portions.

Perfect in every way! The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, and the food was incredibly tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely return the next time we're in the area. Highly recommended!

We have been to Zyka lots of times in the last year and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious with generous portions and the service extremely friendly and polite. We have recommended his restaurant to so many of our friends. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard and make every visit here a pleasure.

On our way back south to Wiltshire, after a short tour of the North East, we spent the night in Hexham. After searching many places, we spotted this absolute gem of a place. A huge thanks to Mash and the guys. Julie absolutely loved the vegan options, and mine was amazing. If it wasn't nearly 6hrs away, we'd ne back next week.

We visited for our granddaughters 10th birthday. The staff made a real fuss of her and encouraged the whole restaurant to join in singing happy birthday to her. She was delighted. We enjoyed phenomenal food and exceptional service.We cannot thank the amazing staff enough for making it such a special evening Special thanks to Rashid for friendly and charming attention to the birthday girl. Absolutely the best restaurant in the North.

By far the best Indian restaurant I've eaten in, all staff were very accommodating and they're recommendations were greatly appreciated, the Venison dish I was recommended is now my favourite dish and will be asking for in every future restaurant I visit

Superb Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. Quality of food was great, I had Chicken Chat Puree to start which was very tasty and good portion. Main was Lal Mans Lamb curry, lots of depth and flavour, made it spicy to my liking and naan bread was something else. Definitely recommend. Was looked after Mash and Abi and made sure I was not rushed. Did suggest they should have more wine by the glass which they have assured they will feedback to the owners

Loved Zyka- excellent food, great atmosphere and staff were always attentive. Rachid was an excellent host with his team and even showed me how to access the background music which was refreshingly different.

I find the whole dinning experience at Zyka to be superb. The restaurant itself is finished to a very high standard. The staff are as you would expect of a top class restaurant, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. As for the food, it has to be some of the most flavoursome I've ever tasted. There is a depth and richness to each dish that just lifts it above any other out there. And they will cater to any dietary requirements you may have. The food is also available to take out which is a bonus. All in all I thoroughly recommend Zyka to you. Enjoy!

After ordering,our started took one hour and a half to arrive with NO explanation,the food was average and the Staff seemed unmotivated and uninterested! This restaurant offered a very fresh and tasty indian food. I am gluten free and cannot eat onion or garlic, which is not altogether easy as most curries are based on onion and garlic. The cook adapted and created a wonderful chicken rogan josh.

I found this place to be hugely overpriced. The food was OK I suppose - in as much as it didn't taste offensive but I certainly cannot recommend the place. It was over crowded downstairs and we didn't manage to catch the waiters attention as he was too busy chatting up a couple of ladies two tables away . Sorry.
