To be honest I didnt want to go. after some dreadful meals in Indian restaurants I had decided enough was enough. However my Wife wanted to try Temle and off we went. All I can say i, s wow! What a change of cuisine. The menu was an upgrade from economy to business class. We had got used to mundane Indian food where the same sauce was used on every dish and it was just a different meat/fish dish.. The food was presented well and tasted divine. clever use of spices and herbs, superb starters, nice choice of wines spirits etc. The main courses were absolutley brlliant, well cooked and good portions. The naan bread was fluffy and light The deserts were just normal buy in type fare, but again well served and good size portions! The service was good when you had the waiters attention, however people coming in for takeaways and telephone orders tended to take them a little off track. All in all abrilliant night and reasonably priced, will definatly be going again!

I recently visited Curry Club in Barkingside with friends, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The first thing that stood out was the decor—or rather, the lack of it (don’t be fooled by the pictures Online) The restaurant felt neglected and dirty, which didn’t set a good tone for the meal. The drinks were another letdown. The cocktails were unimpressive, and a friend who ordered fruit juice was served something that was clearly off—it had that unpleasant fizzy, fermented taste, as if it had started turning alcoholic. This alone raised serious concerns about the freshness of what was being served. When it came to the food, we specifically requested that some dishes be made milder, but everything arrived extremely spicy. I enjoy spice when it adds to the flavor, but this was just overwhelming heat, making it impossible to taste anything properly. It made me wonder if they were trying to mask something—especially given the issue with the juice. The quality of the food itself was poor; I barely managed to eat a small piece of chicken before deciding it simply wasn’t worth it. Honestly, I found the whole meal unappetizing, bordering on disgusting. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. With bad decor, questionable hygiene, and food that was neither enjoyable nor fresh, it’s not somewhere I’d return to.

Royal Nawab Ilford is a true gem for food lovers, offering a dining experience that combines quality, variety, and value. As someone who has visited the restaurant numerous times, I can confidently say it stands out among buffet-style establishments. Each visit leaves me satisfied and eager to return, thanks to their exceptional food and service. One of the highlights of Royal Nawab Ilford is the sheer variety of dishes available. Over time, I’ve had the pleasure of trying almost every item on their menu, and I can honestly say they never disappoint. The flavors are consistently rich, authentic, and well-balanced, showcasing the culinary expertise behind the scenes. My personal favorites are the lamb chops and the Namkeen Gosht. The lamb chops are perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor, while the Namkeen Gosht is a delight for anyone craving traditional and comforting dishes. The buffet system adds to the charm of this restaurant. It’s not only convenient but also incredibly reasonable, making it an excellent choice for family outings, casual dinners, or even celebratory meals. The quality and variety you get for the price are unmatched. From appetizers to main courses, and even desserts, there’s something for everyone. The ambiance at Royal Nawab Ilford is another aspect that enhances the dining experience. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive and courteous, ensuring that you’re well taken care of during your visit. In summary, Royal Nawab Ilford is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates delicious, authentic cuisine served in a buffet-style setting. It’s a place I always look forward to revisiting, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking great food at a reasonable price

This restaurant is the best by far for miles around. I have been coming here for some years, and the quality of the food has never changed from being excellent. Likewise for the hospitality of the staff. It is excellent value for money and a chance to eat here should not be missed.

This pub used to be called the ashgrove , its now called the central.it's not a pub anymore ,its solely an Indian restaurant. You have to book according to one the waiters. One of the waiters was very rude and abrupt he's name was kertan , he didn't have a name badge on which he should.ordered drinks and the order was incorrect. The coke had the syrup missing from the machine. The food was too too hot and the nan breads too dry. It's expensive for what it is . If the owner is reading this turn one side back into a pub and leave the other side into a restaurant. The food was to o hot and the customer should be asked if they'd prefer there food hot medium or home style. This place isn't BYOB which let's itself down too. Better customer focus from the waiters is needed and from the chef.

I have had several bad meals from elsewhere recently but this was excellent. I ordered 3 vegetarian mains and 1 rice. I could see when the courier left the reataurant and he came straight my house so the food arrived hot. i will definitely order from here again.
