Village Indiya in Redbridge

Arrived late in Sth Woodford. Restaurant open. Staff wonderful. Food was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Chicken Kurma. Asked for cheese naan. It’s not on the menu but they made it for us Aussies. Delicious. Offered a complimentary drink which was very kind. Then given a heated wet wipe to wash our hands, that smelled divine. This is by far the best indian restaurante and we have tried them all in Woodford Buckhurst hill, Chingford and Epping areas but none compare to Village Indya the food is always perfect and the Team are lovely. This is now our only go to Indian restaurant highly recommended 👌

Amazing food, great value, highly recommended. The poppadoms are easily some of the best I’ve ever had and the naan was brilliant.

Second time at village India- have tried many Indians in the area but this was something special. Special shout out to AK for his hospitality and amazing recommendations. Food was 10/10 a proper local Indian with exciting specials on the menu. Chicken Hari Mirchi is a must have!! Cannot recommend enough our new favourite in the area. Will come back again … AND AGAIN!

After a great visit this wasn't repeated, we arrived on time for our booking but we're squeezed into a small area for 4, our poppadoms took some time to arrive and the second round of drinks had to be ordered 3 times, the food was good but mains arrived with no rice which was rectified. Rushed out of our table no offer for desert, they had overbooked with two large parties, left the restaurant an hour and 45 minutes after arriving unlikely to return due to the service sadly

Excellent food, especially given the area and the cost of the meal. A lovely break from the “rip off Britain” we’re often used to!

From the minute you enter to when you leave excellent customer service from excellent quality to excellent value for money. A lovely atmosphere, busy but comfortable, orders taken, plenty of time in between courses and all the food was very high quality. We all had different starters, mains and deserts and all throughly enjoyed them, without doubt I would say the best Indian I have eaten, well worth a visit, would highly recommend

I have eaten at Village Indiya several times after a recommendation. Each time that I have eaten here, the food and service has been excellent. Normally, I am booked in with a large group of theatre friends at around 10:30pm and the staff are always lovely and accommodating. After the few times having such a great experience, I had to bring my friends over to also have a meal here. My friends are from different parts of London so travelling wasn't easy for us all to get together at the same time. Despite a delay due to my friends missing the tube, we managed to get to the restaurant, be seated, order and enjoy a fantastic meal. My friends loved it and have said that they'd happily return (especially as now they know the route to get there!). I look forward to eating with you again soon.

Great food, lovely staff very accommodating. My son’s girlfriend cannot eat dairy and they cooked something special for her which she said was delicious highly recommend. We have had a couple of take aways which have always been excellent but first time eating at the restaurant and cannot fault lovely evening celebrating our sons birthday

This is a small, cosy restaurant with excellent food and service. AK, the head waiter was attentive and ensured our meal flowed. My group particularly enjoyed the chutneys served with the papadums ...YUM! All round I rate them 5 stars.

We noticed this Restaurant when passing and managed to get a table. From the minute we walked in the way we were treated and the service we received was fantastic. My Wife has Vegan and Gluten free requirements and they could not have been any more helpful going through everything with fantastic options and selections available for her. The service was first class and the food was equally as good. Staff were all so helpful with a big mention to AK who was so helpful ensuring we had everything we wanted especially for my Wife's dietary requirements. We are in this area quite often and will make a point of coming back when down.

Visited on a Friday night as a group of six. The restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere and the table was ready for us when we arrived. Food and service was excellent throughout, the Gurkhas Revenge being a favourite amongst the group. Decent value as well. Would absolutely recommend. Just to note, they do not accept American Express.

We only found this place after a recommendation from a friend a few months ago and are now on our 4th visit. A modern take on the classic Indian restaurant, lots of dishes you know and love plus a few surprises. Great staff including manager AK, a good wine list, and happy to make a few changes for a fussy eater like myself! I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, thanks!

My boyfriend and I usually order food from Village Indiya to take away, but this time we wanted to dine in the restaurant. The food is always hot on arrival and full of flavour, the staff provide an amazing service, always go out of their way to attend to any needs. The restaurant is clean and has very satisfying decor. How have we not visited this gem until now? Stand out service- all waiters were attentive but not over bearing, shout out to AK who was especially helpful in ensuring we had all we needed! The food was so tasty and flavourful. From the curries to the nans- every dish was delicious. This was my first visit but this will now be my go to Indian restaurant. The price is very reasonable and a complimentary drink at the end of dinner was a wonderful touch. Thank you! We will be back to try the rest of the amazing dishes you have to offer!

I have only ever gotten a takeaway from village Inidiya and have been pleased with the speed, quantity and quality of the food. I will be paying it a visit once dining inside is an option and I am looking forward to it.

Best Indian we have had in a long time. Wonderful flavour and authentic food. Boys 11 and 9 loves the samosas and tandoori chicken appetiser. Will be returning for sure.
