The best restaurants serving Indian food in West End City of London, Westminster London

Below average and pricy experience. The starters were nice, especially the trio of dosas, very tasty! The mains were poor. My kerala fish curry was a watery soup with very little flavour. Plenty chunks of nice fish to be fair. By contrast the yellow dal was thick with ghee and not much spice. The dessert Gulab Jamun Tirimasu was hilariously bad. A small stodgy piece in a cocktail glass, topped with plain cream and chocolate shavings. 14 quid.

Some confusion caused by review of Stephen B of 3rd March but it was plain when I came by yesterday 17.10 .19 it was all locked, dark and plainly had not reopened or showing any signs of doing so.

My favorite restaurant in London. I always make a point to stop here for dinner and drinks when I’m back in town. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and I love the atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Excellent service, and everything on the menu was top notch. Lamb chops amd prawns were amazing. Curries were out of this world. Recommended!

The idea is interesting, small plates but interesting and very well cooked. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable which is a very big plus. We've been a couple of times and will go again.

Great restaurant with highly authentic Indian food that arrives in those wonderful small metal bowls. Great service and jus great food.

I have been in this restaurant about ten times. Proper Indian food and it’s to tasty. I was glad they don’t put sugar in food. And everything was freshly made. A 5 star experience. Staff is so good in service. That you feel it’s worth the value. There group set menu is best loved it with a glass of champagne. Excellent service

Five of us went for afternoon tea for my sister-in-law 60th the food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. The staff did not hover over us. We were not rushed and after the afternoon tea we sat in the lounge and ordered a bottle of Prosecco and once again we were not rushed. Absolutely beautiful decor and ambience. Neha could not do enough for us by taking all our photos that we wanted. Which were a lot 😂 I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go there again.

I´m always in love with tandoori chicken, and this one in Soho is ok. I will consider trying another dish next time

Visited on 14 March 2025. Two persons. Dinner. Likes: Interesting take on Indian cuisine Papad was on point Biriyani was perfectly flavored Lassis were fantastic Wonderful ambience and music Attentive service Cons Super inflexible, we repeatedly asked for less food (specifically rice and bread) not waste and the staff said that wasn’t possible (of course we didn’t ask for any price reductions) Cocktails are pre mixed and they couldn’t change the liquor to a premium one for an additional charge The biriyanis were approx. 90% rice and 10% other stuff In some cases the veggie dishes were served with the same serving spoon as the meat dishes (how?) I wouldn’t recommend at this price unfortunately.

We take enjoyed our dinner at Ragam. Dosa was delicious and service was attentive. Very cozy little restaurant with authentic South Indian food, on a quiet street. Really reasonably priced as well. Less then $60 for the 2 of us.

One of the worst food we have had in London. Ordered Kebabs and sea food curry. The Kebab was obviopusly cooked from frozen and was burnt outside and hard and undercooked on the inside. When we pointed this out the staff said they would inform the kitchen and then left. So no idea if they were going to replace it or not. They did bring replacement after we paid and walking out the door. A little late! The seafood curry had raw spice which indicated it had not been cooked properly either. just a terrible experience.
