The best restaurants serving Indian food in City of London, Westminster London

Very poor bland food, served cold. Waiters had very little interaction with customers, never once did they ask if the food was ok. For an establishment that has a Trip Advisor Certificate on the wall, it was unacceptable and undermines the value of said certificate. There are plenty of alternatives. I should have known that it was poor given how easy it was to book a table at two hours notice.

Amazing. So recommend. Great vibe. Super cocktails and unique amazing food with flair fun and depth. Funky place. Cool bar menu with top suggestions. A feast in all senses. Now a favourite. Go!

Had a wonderful meal here to celebrate a birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and the service warm and welcoming. Highly recommended and look forward to visiting again.

Erster Besuch 'beim Inder' in London und schon ein Volltreffer! Eine absolute Wucht! Wir haben uns kulinarisch auf die Empfehlung des Personals verlassen. Man hat uns nach Strich und Faden verwöhnt. The food at Ritu was amazing! The Butter Chicken was creamy and tasted amazing , the Lamb Rogan Josh was tender and juicy, and the biryani was perfectly spiced. The naan was fresh, and the service was excellent in a cozy setting. Highly recommend!

Tuvimos el brunch sin fondo en un sábado y lo pasamos de lo mejor! El servicio fue increíble y nunca tuvimos un vaso vacío. La banda en vivo fue genial y mantuvo el ambiente. El interior de la taberna es realmente único con un toque de estilo victoriano. ¡Uno de los mejores brunchs que he hecho!

Really delicious chicken roti. Lovely gentleman who served us I didn't get his name but I'm assuming he's the owner. The chicken pattie was so good! And I was given some free balls no idea what they were but they were so good. Highly recommend!

While visiting London, my son had a craving for Indian food and he read reviews, don't know where of Chourangi nexto to Marble Arch and made his pick and dinner it was. Incredible food to the point where I have never tasted anything like we had at the restaurant. Am including a picture so you can get an idea of what we had. I don't have more words than to recomend the Chourangi and their Bengali cusine.

We came here due to problems with the trains at Paddington, but what a lucky find! The food is superb, I had the Railway Mutton Curry which was amazing, up there with one of the best curries I've ever had. My friends were also really impressed, and the prices and overall cost was also very good for London, and worth every penny. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Sweet and bland tasting, hardly recognisable Indian dishes, from a somewhat limited menu, to above average price level (for smaller than usual portion sizes). If you, like us, love Indian food, go elsewhere. This restaurants food is seriously lacking depth, flavours and spices. I tend not to do spicy food very well - but at this restaurant, I didn’t even get as much as a hint of spice. We will be happy to try another meal if you get a new chef or make otherwise larger improvements regarding the food, as the service was very welcoming and nice.

La luz de la vieja luz de la India ha ido fuera después de muchos años. Su ubicación es ahora ocupado por un nuevo restaurante tailandés - Nuwa 0208 127 3900 que también hacer para llevar comida. En una primera visita parece que sirven comida muy buena pero tiene servicio variable. Una de nuestra mesa tuvimos que esperar unos 30 minutos para sus principales. El restaurante se disculpó y no cobran por este tema.

After having some fairly average Indian food out recently, I wasn't expecting anything special here. To my pleasant surprise, the meat was super tender and the sauces, extremely flavoursome. The waiter (Floriano), was also very helpful. I don't tend to post reviews very often, but this one is worth favourable feedback.

Found this place when wandering along Shaftesbury Avenue the food and staff were outstanding I thoroughly recommend the crispy spinach dish it was to die for such flavours.
