Great service, vibrant place, delicious food - loads of it 😅

The food was fantastic. The tea was divine. The service left much to be desired. I don’t know if it was because the restaurant is super busy, but our waiter spoke very fast, and seemed frustrated when we asked more questions. It is very loud in the restaurant; therefore, very difficult to understand everything he said. This will not deter me from wanting to go again, because the food was amazing. Maybe I will try a different location.

Can highly recommend to not only go once but multiple times. Both breakfast and lunch/dinner are great! Cant wait till they open shop in Amsterdam/Rotterdam

We went for breakfast and got the naan roll, uttapam stack, and bottomless chai. It was the perfect amount of food, and the flavors were all incredible. The staff was so friendly and gave us some recommendations for things to sightsee in the area too. We'll definitely be going back before our trip ends!

Loved the atmosphere, and the waiter was above amazing! Made us feel welcome and gave us good recommendations. We had the mutton pepper fry and cheek kebab which were delicious.

A little too loud but the food was excellent.

Dishoom does not do reservations in advance for parties of under 6 people. So be prepared to queue outside, especially if you are a group of 4 or 5 people. Their seating plan is inefficient, since there is a limited number of large party seating. I prefer west Kensington, since they offer waiting in the bar before seating. They are very good with managing allergies, the staff there were extremely helpful. Also the food arrives promptly, since they do want a faster turnaround to maximise efficiency. The food itself is fine to good, but not great. The chaat is brilliant, but not as good as the Bombay Brassarie. I find the food to be too hot, the spice blend dies due to overwhelming taste of chillies or black pepper. Look out for Keema pao. In summary, Dishoom is not culinary excellence. It's simply street food, packaged in a posh-nosh. Once you know what to expect, it's good to visit once in a while.

Best Indian restaurant ever !!!

Was looking forward to this and was not disappointed. The ruby chicken with the raita yogurt sauce together with some of the basmati rice - delicious!

Waited in line for around 45 min, but worth it. The food was excellent (not very many gluten-free options, however). The atmosphere was good, and the service was very friendly. The only downsides were that we had to ask for one of our drinks three times before we actually got it, and it was a teeny bit too noisy. Would go again nevertheless.

A restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, a nice location, and friendly staff. Typical Indian dishes at a good price. The waiters offer advice with a smile. Be careful because all the dishes are spicy, but everything is very tasty. Good prices for London. We ordered chicken tikka, samosa, cheese naan, and tandoori rice. You'll have to queue to get in, but it moves quickly, and they offer drinks to liven up the wait.

Make sure to make a reservation. The servers are super friendly and cheerful! The atmosphere is great and the taste is just like Korean indie, Ganga. Since I was alone, I ordered a ruby ​​curry and rice, but I didn't have enough curry so I had some rice left. The mango lassi was also delicious.

We’ve heard really good opinions about this restaurant and now we understand everything. It’s a really huge restaurant, where you will find an amazing food and really good service. It’s a bit more expensive than the other ones but the quality of the food and the place itself makes it worth it. You can’t book a table for dinner so be ready to wait a long queue to get in. Everything was delicious, maybe the best cheese naan we ever tried. 100% recommended!

Wonderful! Excellent service. I ended up ordering a very spicy dish (the waitress said it wasn't spicy enough). When she saw that I was almost crying, she offered to take the dish off the order and I ordered another dish. I recommend it! There are thousands of options, for those who like spicy food and those who can't handle it lol

This is our second time traveling to London and our second time at Dishoom. It was just as amazing as we remembered!

Many people recommended and it definitely lived up to expectations. If it’s your first time okra fries, 2-3 mains, chocolate hot cake and ice cream. Come hungry, you will not finish it all.

I have been to a few different Dishoom’s and all have been great. Had the special Prawn Pathia and it is my favourite dish so far. Wish there was a Dishoom in Sunderland

Great service and atmosphere. The food was only okay, though. I ordered the daal and Ruby chicken, and had high hopes based on all the reviews. Unfortunately, both dishes lacked flavour. Would recommend trying out other Indian restaurants - especially as the price at Dishoom is super expensive for what you get.

Late review but still relevant! I came here around Thanksgiving with my boyfriend, and we were absolutely in love! There was a wait when we got there that night, but the line moved fast and one of the waitresses was bringing us hot chai as it was quite cold! When we finally got seated, our waiter was super attentive and kind. The food was INCREDIBLE!! Best Indian food I have ever tasted! We will definitely be back.

Was my favourite restaurant... though last time service was awful to chase one of my items and she said that's it will.come.out when it's ready asked again and it turned it was never ordered. No apology she was so rude... clearly did not want to be at work Told them to.forget that item as I've already eaten my starters... disappointed my service from dishoom ruined our meal

May be our expectations were high while visiting from US and someone suggested this place. Additionally they make u wait in cold outside so expectations went high. Food was average, standard Indian food, service was fast but nothing like server checked if we liked the food, it was assumed as they are busy that food has to be good. I had same quality other places and sometime better. Chk ruby is just chk tikka. Dishoon chk tikka was ok, little dry. Lamb chop was ok too. Roti etc standard. Briyani was ok, u don’t put raisin. Chocolate chai, don’t try😉. Now quantity, very less compared to price. u can get same quantity in half price. 15% gratuity auto added even if u are 3 or 4 in ur party, which was odd and may be reason for servers not checking on you much. We give gratuity as per country but is connected to service also. Btw when receipt says service charges as 0.0% why are you charging 15%. VAT can’t control but roughly 20% is killer 😀 Would i go again, No rather try other places

Big disappointment, succumbed to the hype. So many 5 star reviews, so glad others enjoyed. Service was fine but regarding the dishes: Dishoom chaat: fine, tasty, not special Tandoori chaat: fine, I guess Famous Black Dahl: definitely a big disappointment. Very little taste, too creamy. Biryani Britannia: I had this dish in Mumbai, it was so special and memorable. This was just an average biryani. Chicken tikka: was expecting a dry tikka, this had a little sauce and too spicy rather than favorable Mango Lassi, Chai tea: meh, whatever.

Great atmosphere and delicious food as always! We had family visiting the UK for the first time, and they loved it too. Looking forward to our next visit already.

So many people told us we had to go, it was very good. This was a large location and took reservations, of which er didn't have. We went early knowing it gets busy, wr arrived at 5pm and only waiting 10 minutes. By 5:30 the line was around the corner and kept getting longer. Service was excellent. The Ruby chicken was my favorite of what we had and tikka had great spice to it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It’s busy, it’s intense, but the food is amazing and the staff is doing their job with a smile. We had an early dinner and just managed to get in before the queue built up. It is worth a visit.

Met my girl gang at Dishoom after ages, ordered only starters and small plates with drinks. House chaat was a bit disappointing and some items were swimming in oil/butter (keema pao etc), maybe have options like original and lite next to some of these dishes for the health conscious? Taste, ambience, service was spot on!

Truly the best Indian I've been to so far! Super juicy chicken and the Oberhammer lamb. You can't get enough of the flatbread. Since we had the key ring, we were able to roll the dice at the end of the meal to see if we got the food for free. (You have to roll a 6 for that) Unfortunately we didn't win ;)

What can I say, since Dishoom hardly needs my endorsement. Simply put: Delicious meal, great atmosphere of super friendly staff and people! It lives up to its enormous reputation.

This was a knock out delicious breakfast, superb service, rapid delivery to table and a vibrant bubbling atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble, fantastic, would recommend to anyone with a sense of taste that is feeling hungry in the morning.
