Mauritius Paradise in City of London, Westminster

I went to Mauritius Paradise two days ago and I reached there around 16:00 so most of there food was gone already what was left was some veg noodles and some curries and Dhall puri. When I asked if I can have a chicken noodle Kevin said it’s all what we have and he suggested to serve me a portion of veg noodles with chicken liver curry. I saw that the noodles on the top were very dry and crispy as it’s been out there for long. I told Kevin if I can get a fresh one, what he did was taking his spoon and turning the upside down so I don’t see the dry ones. When I asked him for the price he remained silent, then he served me with this noodle on top the chicken liver curry garnish with coriander. Only when I had to pay then he gave me the price, I never seen any shop keeper being as dishonest in my life. In the veg noodle there was not a single vegetable and thar chicken liver curry on top was disgusting I couldn’t eat so I asked him to put it in a take away for my cat. Kevin I will never come to your restaurant again, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Mauritius Paradise catered for our friends wedding this evening and they were fantastic. Food was lovely, but what was more impressive was their attitude and friendliness. They went out of their way to interact with and entertain various children while they were waiting to serve, and also made the effort to provide takeaway boxes for us when we had to leave early to get our little one home. We are of Mauritian heritage ourselves and can 100% recommend them for their food and service.

I was here for the first time in May and it was an interesting menu. The noodles were fresh with a spice kick that may be considered too hot for some. I am not sure about a minimum order of £25 for a home delivery though. Most of the food is pre made and microwaved so it is warmed up quickly. There isn't much seating available either so if you are in a rush then a take away is convenient.

Terrible, gave me meat and I am a vegan. Felt so sick and had to throw up! Disgusting

Sorry boss mais I paid 36 pounds for 10 dholl puri and 2 roti. When asked , I was told I was charged double portion because I wanted curry separate for the dholl puris. We come all the time to you. 4 pounds for dholl puri is a bit of a rip off, right? I want to add that the 0 for service is not for the girls serving, they were very pleasant, polite and efficient. It is for the price.

Mauritius Paradise catered for a family funeral. Being Mauritian ourselves, it was important to have traditional food on the day. The service on the day was excellent, the menu was also excellent and the food was delicious, everyone enjoyed the selection of food. Would highly recommend.

Food here is just something else. Intense, tasty and diverse. Seriously, if you want to try Mauritius cuisine this is definitely a must go. Just amazing.

Kevin & his team at Mauritian Paradise catered for our wedding at short notice, after being messed around by a previous supplier! Kevin was super flexible and helped provide a full Mauritian buffet spread to our budget, which everyone at our wedding absolutely loved! Food was delicious and my only regret is not eating more on our wedding day as the food was so so good! Highly recommend Kevin to anyone that needs catering for large events!

Not sure what happend. The rotis were soft and tender. Edges were hard, roti dry and hard. Seemed like it wasnt fresh maybe left overs. Quiet disappointed, food tasted bland. Rice was stuck together and tasted watery. I used to love this place, i have no idea what happend. I couldnt eat the roti thats how hard it was. Im totally put off i througg all my food away. Im not bothered about the money but ill never go back there again. Serving fresh food is so important. There is no excuse if the roti is old or dry or crusty it should be thrown away,dont try to sell it to make money. Its not worth losing customers and having bad reviews. As for the rice, i can say its acceptable but still didnt eat it.

Kevin and his team catered for a family funeral in October. Food and service were great. Extremely warm and friendly service for such an event. Everyone was impressed and left positive feedback. Many Thanks

Always good food, pleasant experience

I had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful service at this Mauritius Paradise Grill Bar, and I must say it's consistently welcoming. My go-to choices are the Chicken and Lamb wraps, which are truly the best, but I can't deny that all their dishes are delicious and bursting with flavour. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite or takeout. It's the ideal spot for a satisfying lunch or brunch.

I have been eating at this place for years! They are always consistent. The food flavours are bombastic! The service is fantastic! Today I dropped my chicken wings on the floor and they gave me a new batch! They are so caring and friendly, and I've made friends with the man that works there. They make you feel at home. I took my friends here once and they loved it also. I recommend the goat curry and roti.

For the Haldi night, we wanted a typical Mauritian wedding celebration as much as possible. So, we arranged food from Mauritius Paradise. The food and service were excellent. All our guests, even non-mauritians commented how the food was tasty and they really enjoyed the evening. We would like to thank Kevin & his Team and would highly recommend them.

Delicious original mauritian food made with heart and served with love in the community. Kevin and his wife recently catered for my dads funeral and we are still getting compliments about the food. Kevin went above and beyond on the day, at what is an emotional time. The food was on time, very tasty - Lets just say people were taking seconds and third portions! Kevin, from our family to yours, thank you for feeding the community and remembering all the dads and mums, past and present.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kevin and Mauritius paradise for the catering for our mums funeral. The food was impeccable but also the service was second to none. We had so many compliments on the food especially from some guests who have never had mauritian food before! Kevin personally oversaw everything and made sure everything went smoothly and gave us all the advice and support we needed at this very sad time, but I think we did her proud

Good food, good and memorial experience

I visited the store a while back and a member of staff was extremely rude to me as I purchased several pairs of dhall puri instead of couple saying she can't sell all that to me she needs to save for her friends as far am concerned if its on display, I should be able to buy and that made me feel uncomfortable. Also I wish the food was less oily .

Can't go wrong here with anything on the menu. Kevin is a superstar as always ✨️ 🙌 with top quality food and service.

Great place to get a little light meal, and I love the food . The staff are friendly and have some great humour, mainly Kevin.

We had a chicken roti and a lamb roti both were so delishious and service was polite and friendly. I have never eaten Mauritian food before and would again.

My first choice for lunch when I'm anywhere near here.

Disappointing service- I was waiting in the queue to be served with the kids, whilst some else walked pass, jumped the queue and started chatting with the boss. They get served before us and with such a discriminated service- the food brought to the table. Whilst I am standing there, waiting to place my order which took much longer time. When the lady serving brought the Dhall puri & Roti- It was just such a messy and appalling service- The curries overflowed everywhere and was dropping down on the floor. The worse, she did not even recognise that her service to us was not nice. Sadly we ate and left. The Dhall Puri was not the best but most expensive £2.25 for a pair. ROTI had hard bit, which was not nice at all.

Best noodles in London. Also great customer service and the other food is great as well.

Food was ok, but too expensive. The portion also was not that big of a deal. I’ve visited Mauritius countless times but their hospitality is not the same. Would not recommend.

A true slice of Mauritian paradise. The authentic dishes are so delicious. I definitely recommend dholl purris, briani and mine frit. The chef captures the Mauritian spices beautifully, one bite and you will be transported to Mauritius. Everyone who works there is so friendly. You can stock up on your favourites from home, like mine apollo, moolkoo, phoenix, piment crasé and so much more. I can't wait to visit again 😋😋😋

This is a lovely place to taste authentic Mauritian food. I love their samosas and biryanis and if I’m in the area I always make sure to visit. Staff are also friendly and polite. Well worth the visit.

Absolutely love this place. Great for a quick lunch when I'm out shopping, better still for a takeaway (it's uncomfortable seating, strip lighting, busy market). The food is excellent and authentic (I know, as my children are keen critics, being part Mauritian). Highly recommended.

I wasn't going to buy but the lady was so nice and pleasant in explaining what they had, I felt compelled to buy something. So I bought a saltfish Pattie. Started eating it when I go home about 20 mins after purchase to find dry saltfish and to my horror - mold!! Suffice it to say, I won't be buying from Mauritius Paradise again.

Bit pricey. Making up for lost business

I would highly recommend Kevin and his team. They were ever so accommodating and prepared lovely food for our garden party, even a last minute request didn't put them off. We had chicken, fish curry, biryani, cutlets, gato piment, lots of sides and satini. Being a non native, I thought the food was delicious and authentic but if you can't take my word for it, my Mauritian mother in law gave it her seal of approval with a thumbs up and a request for more. She loved her lentilles soup and fish curry. Thanks Mauritius Paradise for making our day extra special and getting our mother to finally complement someone else's cooking.

I would give this place 15 stars if I could. Staff are honestly friendly, welcoming and serve delicious food. I came all the way from Scotland and I don't regret it at all to drive 7 hours to eat there but I regret to leave this place to go back to Scotland. Huge thumbs up 👍

Best fish vindaye curry and roti around

Kevin and Anusha catered for our wedding back in October and it was fantastic! The majority of our guests had never eaten Mauritian food, let alone a totally vegetarian wedding breakfast. By the end they couldn't get enough of it and we didn't have any leftovers! Kevin and Anusha worked well with us to plan the menu and the logistics. We were in regular contact including tasting sessions to make sure we were all happy with the final menu. We were delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend them.

Good for a quick fix lunch while in the area. Not much seating though so take away works well too. The food is of good quality and tasty. +++ for the dhal puris

I come here at least once in two weeks. The food is absolutely delicious and very tasty. I love the Dhal Puri and Roti. There a comfortable seating area and the staff are really friendly and nice.

Kevin food is so amazing. I celebrated my 40th birthday and all my guest loved his Mauritian food and they even took some home! Kevin also helped at my party organising the food I would defiently recommend kevin the food was tasty and well organised he comes with a caring attitude and helpful

Kevin catered my 50th birthday party. He was efficient and punctual and made everything very easy. The food was delicious and great value for money. Many of my guests commented on how lovely the food was.

This is the one!! I didnt know what to order but as soon as I approached a lovely man greeted me and offered me roti. Im trini so I was spectacle about this roti hes claiming but when I say I didnt take a breath inbetween mouthful. Safe to say I will be going back there, ting set my day up real nice.

First time we have been there, we can say we had eaten very good authentic moricien food. To top everything ,the people's skill is very good, feel like eating dan morice. Recommend to visit.

Nice friendly staff and great traditional mauritian food reminds me of when I was a kid. Also they have all the traditional beers spirits and soft drinks and make one of the best alouda I have ever tasted and extremely well presented

Foods lovely and staff are very nice

My boyfriend and his mother went there recently. They said that the "roti" wasn't cooked well, still a bit cold from being stored in the freeze, crumbly and so was the curry and the other fillings inside. Even the samosas they ordered were still cold. Too bad that for a 1st time experience they got this although apparently the owner was quite friendly.

We have been eating here for years very happily. Last night they catered an event fornus. Kevin and his wife and the rest of his team were extremely professional, generous, and friendly. The food -- all vegetarian and much vegan as well -- was uniformly outstanding. They really helped make our party a truly special occasion. We can't recommend Mauritius Paradise highly enough.
