A very good welcome with a very pleasant service. Rates accessible to all, a very friendly atmosphere.

We were a group of 4 and nobody was particularly experienced in eating Indian food. I knew I liked chicken tikka masala, so we ordered that family style and they brought us other items we might like. They don’t serve alcohol, but we didn’t miss it. Highly recommend!

Great staff, amazing food- best we’ve had in the UK. Highly recommend the chicken tikka biryani, the raita was SO zesty and crisp.

Food is oily , but tasty . One of the Staff not welcoming, rude gave us table clamming all the rest are reserved , only 2 table was occupied till i finish my meal . I will not come back neither recommend.

I used to like Indian curry in Korea, but the Indian curry I tried here is on a different level. If you eat chicken tikka masala, sheep tikka masala, garlic naan, cheese naan, and mangola seed, you will never regret it.

Maharaja: Wow wara sabor. Son muy buenos. La empresa familiar más longeva desde 1967. Masala dhall y pollo tikka, excelente. Será mejor que lo intenten. El jefe y el personal son gente muy agradable

When we came inside, we immediately got flooded with a nice warm mood. It looked nice and the people were friendly. The service was good and in no-time we had Some really nice meals. Those tasted jolly good! What a good gastronomic experience! The only comment: small tables

The restaurant is very ordinary, the food is delicious, but it is not the best thing. We ordered a samosa, which consists of two pieces, very ordinary, but it does not have the smell of Indian samosa, which means I will not order it again. We ordered after the first meal, it was sweeter than the samosa, and we ordered chicken biryani, which is eaten, but it is not delicious, so I will not try it again, and We ordered two pieces of chicken, which were okay for snacks, but not the best thing. Of course, they did not come with any rice or bread. You must order something with it. The last order was Tandoori chicken, and it was the best thing for us. You get a whole chicken with its bones. We asked for yogurt and they brought us mint, but it tasted like sugar. We told them and they replaced it with a regular one. Of course, with the butter chicken and the tandoori, we ordered two pieces of naan bread with butter. Bread. It was good

Solicitando al propietario que amablemente lo investigue urgentemente y no deje que la gente pierda allí el día y el dinero por su culpa. Yo estaba con mi familia o de lo contrario definitivamente no habría pagado por la comida.

Was craving Indian and stumbled upon this gem. Ordered the lentil curry and boyfriend ordered the chickpea curry with sides of garlic naan, plain naan, and rice. The service was very pleasant and there was very little wait time on our order.

We come from Malaysia where we are spoilt for food with rich flavors and Maharaja was up our alley. The owner was warm and friendly and service was fast despite a full house. Space was tight but it felt cozy instead of claustrophobic. If we are ever near the area again, we will definitely drop by.

A very nice discovery! A meal that will be remembered for a long time, passing through the neighborhood we followed the reviews and they were right! Very well proportioned menus for 2 people and a price that is more than reasonable (between £30 and £40/person) for a starter, drinks and a main course. We will come back with pleasure, thank you

Enjoyed some chicken tikka with my daughter who is a picky eater. She would come again! Chicken was very high quality meat and naan bread was delicious. Clean place with white table cloths.

I have no idea why this restaurant has so many good reviews. This was the most bland, unappetizing indian meal I have ever had. The service was surly and the atmosphere uncomfortable. There was NO smell of cooking in the restaurant so I doubt the food is made on site. To top it off there is a 12% gratuity automatically added to your bill - which is not disclosed before hand. With your myriad other options in London for Indian food, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Food was okay, we've had better Indian food. Rude staff...as soon as the plates were cleared, the bill was brought straight away, without asking whether another dessert was wanted. Ambience, small, Indian, no unpleasant smell of incense sticks.

I had an appetizer and main course, but it felt like a main course and dessert. My appetizer, chicken tandoori, was so big and the amount was so huge that neither could I properly cut it on the small plate nor had I much appetite on the main course. I had chicken tikka masala, which tasted like some type of chicken paste with half of it consisting out of sugar and overcooked, dry chicken. The rice was also not included and had to be payed extra. The waiter even had the nerve to ask for dessert. The main and our waiter always bickered so loudly that I began to wonder if they were bitching about us or their own service. The music was so poorly chosen that it didn't feel like an Indian restaurant but madam puddifut's teashop from Harry Potter.

Always enjoy visits to this restaurant. They have been serving great Indian food for many years. Never disappoints
