We were meeting a friend in Paddington and the reviews for this restaurant were so good we had to try it We were not disappointed, the food was excellent This is the restaurant for the hotel and it seemed a lot of hotel guests were dining here. There are only a small number of covers but the waiting staff were rushed off their feet and from where we were sitting we could see the solo chef frantically trying to keep up with orders Despite this the service was excellent and the food exceptional We had sheek kebab, tandoori phool and the dhaba del makhani to start with The kebabs were juicy and had a nice spicy kick to them. The phool were cauliflower and brocolli, which were OK. The Dhaba was a mix of kale, potaotes etc. and was excellent, top marks for this For the mains we had the cheicken chetinad, really tasty, the range of spice and texture beautifully balanced. The dal makhani was also excellent. We had saffron rice and plain naans to accompany - very good I then ordered teh lamb chops, as I thought they must be worth trying, and they were. Juicy and large and mildly spicy We finished with a pistachio kulfi and a mango sorbet shared between us, again very tasty We were very impressed with this hidden gem

Lovely food and friendly service. Menu is a bit patchy but we were able to find a few goos dishes. The Railway Curry was a highlight and the Lamb Cigars were something a bit different. Nice spot if in the area and plenty of flavour in all the dishes.

Fantastic Indian food. I have been here multiple times on my trips to London. Can they pack up and move to Australia? Tumeric is on the ground floor of The Chilworth Hotel, set back from Wesrbourne Terrace. It's a short walk from Paddington station. It's easy to miss if you don't know where you're going. We had the lamb shank which just fell off the bone and was covered with a delicious gravy. We also had the yellow Dahl and Garlic Naan. Perfection, so we have ordered the same thing on 4 visits. Friendly and professional staff and topped off with elegant decor. Amongst the best Indian restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining at.

Cracking find! I was attending a meeting with my team and decided on the Tumeric as we all fancied an Indian close to our office. This did not disappoint - Indian food is some of my favourite but this was on another level. Everyone had nothing but good words for the quality, service and taste of the food. Staff could not do enough. I’ll definitely be back but for personal enjoyment.

I have frequented this restaurant several times before, and I am pleased that I have now made a reservation in advance to fully appreciate the delightful experience it offers. The ambiance is fantastic, with a lovely decor and eclectic music playing softly in the background. The service was impeccable, and the dishes were served promptly. The food was truly exceptional, exceeding all my expectations with its unique and delicious flavors that set it apart from the usual Indian cuisine.

This Indian restaurant was definitely the best fine dining experience I've ever had. The service provided by staff was exceptional. The food was always fresh and you could easily tell that even though it's a niche cuisine, the quality was superb. Each time I went, the dishes had a unique touch, texture, and flavor. If given the chance, I would definitely go back again. All the food we chose was incredibly delicious.

Unusual to find a hotel with an Indian kitchen but from the moment I walked in and smelled the delicious aromas I knew I was going to eat in. Food was a little slow in arriving but it was worth the wait. Definitely recommend.

Our last night in London and we wanted some good curry - and Tumeric Kitchen did not disappoint! This place is a little hard to find - it is located inside the Chilworth Hotel in London and you need to go inside the hotel entrance to access it. We had the most amazing dinner here. Fresh, rich flavours, decent portions - a very tasty meal all around. Having booked in advance, they placed us in a little booth at the back which was perfect for our family of 4 because this place was heaving on a Thursday night. A good thing to know in advance - all meals are medium-spicy. Not too hot, but good to know if you are not great with heat.

A questo punto ci chiede se fosse andato tutto bene e, alla nostra risposta positiva, lei stessa recensisce il ristorante con le 5 stelle. Noi siamo rimasti completamente spiazzati e ci siamo limitati a cancellare la recensione una volta usciti dal locale. Ripeto: il resto tutto perfetto. Tuttavia ho paura che il nostro non fosse un caso isolato e che questo sia un modus operandi abituale…

I had one of the best meals in England, here. I had chicken tikka, basmati rice and garlic naan. Plus a Heineken! Everything was excellent. The service was outstanding. The restaurant has a warm and friendly ambience. The prices represent good value. Just eat here!

Eaten here twice now and each time the food and service has been excellent and, for London, very well priced indeed. Particularly grateful that they squeezed us in on Friday 22/12 without a reservation. Always seems a bit odd to be walking into a hotel (“is it really in here?” goes through your mind) but, please, don’t let that put you off. It is definitely worth a visit.

Service was ok - they were trying. Setting is quite nice. But food was very mediocre - basically a puree globby sauce with some chicken in it. Either they were having a bad night or this place should be avoided. Shame. Was looking forward to it. Should note it was very cheap for London so worth a roll of the dice if that matters to you.

While staying at Hilton Paddington, we Google ‘d Indian Restaurants nearby. We picked Tumeric Kitchen based on its 4.6 rating & the pictures showed an inviting dining room. I wanted a good Indian meal near my hotel and this was recommended by Siri. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I tried the aubergine which I had not had before and was pleasantly surprised. For dessert, I had a mango yogurt popsicle ( I can’t remember the name of it) and it was a perfect end to my spicy meal.

Mediocre food - but worse of all it left me running to the bathroom all the next day. And the rest of my group! Otherwise the atmosphere was that of a hotel restaurant, rather soulless. Service was fine - they did their best - but hard to compensate for the overall experience.

We have found the restaurant by chance, my husband wanted to find nice original indian restaurant suitable for family with kids. And here the luck was with us, absolutly delicious Indian starters and mains, on top a couple of desserts. At best we liked the avocado balls with spices and original naanbread flavours with seeds. Our younger daughter is not a fan of indian flavours yet, thus for her we picked up ravioli out of Europen part of the menu- huh . The service was absolutely excellent. Unfortunately we live in Austria so coming back will be not that easy. Thank you team Tumeric for the awesome evening.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Service was quite slow, and we had to ask where our order was more than once. Staff seemed more interested in chatting with one another than serving customers. Food was ok, but nothing special. Would not go again.

From start to finish, Excellent. Starters, main courses and desserts were tasty and presented well. Prices were reasonable too. One of the nicest curries I've had anywhere.
