Sweet and bland tasting, hardly recognisable Indian dishes, from a somewhat limited menu, to above average price level (for smaller than usual portion sizes). If you, like us, love Indian food, go elsewhere. This restaurants food is seriously lacking depth, flavours and spices. I tend not to do spicy food very well - but at this restaurant, I didn’t even get as much as a hint of spice. We will be happy to try another meal if you get a new chef or make otherwise larger improvements regarding the food, as the service was very welcoming and nice.

So, food quality was good, and service excellent, prices a little high, but it's a real shame to see such a limited menu selection - and it hasn't changed to my knowledge since we first visited after it opened so feels tired. It was noticeably quiet, which for Thursday evening in London is slightly worrying. Will keep an eye on menu, as would go back if some variety introduced.

Delicious food, nicely presented, excellent attentive service. The flavours of the sauces of our curries were so subtle and even the dipping sauces for the poppadums were unusual and seemed home made. A total gem and we were able to pop in after a concert at the Barbican and the place was buzzing!

The meal was tasty and the service excellent. However I’m not sure I would return because I found the menu too limited, the underground feel with no windows and it was very warm. The portions of the main meals (butter chicken) and Massala were both quite small for the price.

Visited with family and had some great food with excellent service. Everything was presented beautifully with subtle spicing and ingredients I’ve never tasted before and can’t wait to sample again.

I’ve visited this place a couple of times and would definitely eat here again. Lovely authentic food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Their spiced old fashioned was amazing - very flavourful.

The service was great and the the food was even better. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant when in London.

Excellent service from start to finish, the food is so authentic it’s like the food we used to get back home in India. Mayura will be our favourite Indian now
