Kricket Soho in City of London, Westminster

The food, atmosphere, and everyone that works there stood out as the best during our 1st visit to London from NY!! There is something special about this place. Their signature dishes were a party of flavors in my mouth!! This has been our best dining experience in London!

Restaurant branché qui revisite la cuisine indienne. Nous avons diné au comptoir, l'expérience vaut le détour. Les plats sont globalement très bons et parfumés même si très (trop) copieux. Le service est faussement cool et pousse à la consommation et les tarifs plutôt élevés. Raison pour laquelle nous ne sommes pas retournés.

Lovely restaurant and an eclectic choice of dishes… All were nicely done and some amazing.. FoH (Seme) was brilliant and contributed to a great evening..

Great location in the heart of the West End and easily accessible. Food was delicious. Our waitress, Nora was very helpful and attentive. The Mangalorean smoked pork belly was brilliant. Mind you, everything else was, too.

It just didn't hit the spot. I didn't enjoy it, the pakoras came soggy with the sauce on and cold, had to take them back, but they charged us for them. I had to tell them to remove the charge. The dhal was average, I cook a better one at home, the naan was quite good though, and warm at least. The chat snack was weird didn't really enjoy that. I had been in May 2024 and had a lovely meal with a friend, they said their greens were tough, and my friend didn't really enjoy the fried chicken. It just wasn't good quality food. Won't be going back. When the quality oscillates like that, it puts me off.

The dining room is downstairs & the service impeccable. Truly outstanding Indian food with a twist. I highly recommend it. We were 3 adults & ordered 7 dishes to share.

This was our first visit to Kricket (Soho) for my husband's birthday. We could only sit at the bar as tables are reserved for bigger groups. The menu is limited but we chose a few small plates. Each dish was great. We are vegetarian and eat fish occasionally. There were only 2 choices for mains, fish or beef. So we chose the fish. This was excellent. We also tried both desserts on the menu. The service was good and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. However I would only go back if there more choice for vegetarians.

Perfect. Perfect. And perfect. The food is the best. Rik and Will, owner and friend, good talk. Me, no meat or garlic. My friend GF. We had the best meal.

We sat at the bar. The atmosphere was lively and fun and new, the drinks were outstanding and the service exception. The food was unique and delicious. The mango dessert on the cookie was the house special and it was fabulous

I had travelled from Scotland to visit this restaurant and I was honestly so excited. Well what can I even say. The steak was cold which was a huge shame. The fish was delicious. They replaced the steak free of charge but at that point we just wanted to go home. We went home to listen to music on YouTube. All in all a disappointing evening. “I don’t like Kricket, oh no, and I don’t love it”. 4.5 out of 10. Do better.

Came here last night. I don't understand why this restaurant is so highly rated. The food is awful and the place is noisy, basic and chaotic. We received at least three things we didn't order and we were missing a couple of dishes that we did. I felt we were encouraged to over-order, so I did try quite a few things on their very limited menu.staff were nice but clearly harassed by the sheer number of customers and extreme tightness of space at the communal banquettes downstairs. Snacks: Mirchi vada - the best thing on the menu. Light and spicy. Gave me misplaced hope Butter chicken kofta - also good, the snacks were the only good things on the menu. Small plates Samphire pakoras- tasteless. Avoid Chana masala- chick peas with hummus. Really weird. Did not work Lamb ribs - basically lamb fat, disgusting Larger Mutton curry- ok but very ordinary and bland Smoked pork belly - inedible as way too salty Dahl- utterly tasteless Sides Naan - ok but they initially have us some bread with green sludge all over it. Don't know what is was but it was soggy and horrible Meera pulao - ok Broccoli - possibly the worst thing we ate, but it's hard to choose. It was absolutely drowned in a 'walnut chutney' which was like an overpowering blue cheese sauce. Completely inedible Desserts Bhappa doi- a mishmash of all kinds of things which did not go together and tasted revolting Mango and lime kulfi- not frozen. Much too sweet. Obviously I am not returning. Definitely does not merit the high prices.

Good Indian Food. Limited menu and limited space, with a must for bookings. Shared tables and space is tight. The menu is basic and some dishes done extremely well. Would have been nice to see more varied main courses and more options for vegetarian customers. Overall a nice place with relatively authentic food.

One of my most memorable dinners ever!! The food was ample and super tasty, service incredible and atmosphere is buzzing with life. Get a seat at the bar if you can and definitely make a reservation as it’s full even on a weekday. Definitely highly recommend this restaurant!! I can’t praise it enough!! We lived in South East Asia for many years and the Indian cuisine is very very good there AND, Kricket’s food is on par with a proper Indian one. That says a lot. Well done Kricket!! Please keep up the fantastic work!!

What a fantastic place. Unbelievably great food and reasonably priced. Great staff who were very helpful and gave great advice re dishes. Brilliant atmosphere and best meal we had in London. No idea why anyone would rate here poor or terrible! A must!

Friendly, efficient service. Lovely environment. Nice to sit at bar; easy to chat to friends; great to see all the action in the kitchen; delicious, interesting food.

The food was good with the portion sizes ample. However we found that the cocktails wer far too small and consequently we would be unable to say that it was good value for money. The average per person came out at GBP 52. Good professional service delivery.

We are our way round London for the past few days. All very good but Kricket was the highlight. Every dish was super tasty. If you are going choose the samphire pakoras to nibble on whilst deciding what else you fancy. We asked to sit at the bar seating. As we have done now for about of our couples dining. You get the chance to see what the staff are doing, speaking to them about the dishes etc. the staff at Kricket were more than happy to chat with us & even said we’d missed a great dish off our choices and made up a mini one to try. We were so full when we left so could not fit another morsel in. We will return to try some other dishes. Thanks to all the staff for the amazing food and service.

Truly one of the most memorable meals in my life. I never expected the flavors, the range, and the depth of this food. My friends and I shared eight small plates. Each was a delight. We had aubergine with lots of coriander, but not too much, nan with crispy chicken skin, lamb sausage, fried chicken, pork, and a cuddlefish dish, all which were amazing ( we had some rice and dahl). Then the check. Even it was amazing. In New York we would have poad at least double. Don't miss this place.

We were a group of 6 eating the tasting menu, very disappointed at the amount of food. We had one cod portion for 6 people. How do you divide one small piece by 6? I asked if that was the all & they asked if we wanted to order another portion. In my opinion 4 people would have received the same amount of food as we did for 6 people. The Tasting menu was £ 48 per person. Not good value. Will not be returning.

We happened to walk past the restaurant and decided to give it a go. Sat at the bar to the kitchen, order wasn't taken as expected, the sauce for the pakora is over powering. The wrong nan arrived... the lamb was good. Expensive for what it is, the menu is limited, they are trying to emulate dishoom and let themselves down. Fantastic evening had here. Staff, food and drinks all excellent. We popped in at a very busy Christmas time and staff were so kind to find a space for us. Really caring and attentive staff who along with food and drinks made a perfect few hours to catch up with friends at the bar area… will defo be back soon Thanks again

Though we booked for an early dinner at 5pm it still had plenty of customers. Service was brilliant. Our first time here on a recommendation. It didn't disappoint. Food was more than good, it was an experience of beautiful presentation & fantastic flavour. Can't wait to go back. Staff were wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable & efficient.

Kriket Soho provides a menu bursting with flavours. Was fortunate to be there when they had their baby aubergines on the menu, which are mind blowing. Lucky enough to get a seat at the high table so you can watch the chefs in action. Highly recommend

Excellent food and great service. The food was very tasty, the place has a character. Everything came out fairly quickly with no unnecessary waits. It’s also fun to sit at the counter and see the food being prepared.

Every foods picture generally looks good! Very disappointed, if you need to put of weight by eating something not particularly good and horribly sugary them that is the place!! I could feels the sugar granules under my teeth ! The food is greasy, sugary, covered my unhealthy sauces, verdict horrible ! But the staff are very friendly and very nice, that all.

My partner and I went here for lunch and found this restaurant a pleasure to dine in: we were seated in a place to see all the food being prepared, and we took specific joy in watching the bread get made, the food came out quickly and the portions were perfect, we enjoyed dishes we had never eaten before, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Fabulous modern Indian restaurant. Great food, with a very fresh twist. Staff were amazing, happy to recommend. Whilst we walked in and we’re lucky enough to sit at the bar, I would recommend booking.

Even though it was the hottest day on record the food was first class the waitress could not be more helpful and my friends loved the whole ambience and said they would definitely come back with their wife’s.
