Best Indian in Enfield! Brilliant food! Great portion sizes and it was very tasty!! It’s the best chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had! Great service! Staff are very kind and friendly! Extremely clean and comfortable to eat in! 100% recommend!

Went to eat here with a friend who is now vegan and hasn't eaten Indian food for 15 years and the staff were amazing!! They were so kind and so patient with us while we worked out what my friend could eat. There was no blagging either, if the waiter didn't know the ingredients, he would make sure to ask and come back and fully explain to my friend what the dish was made of. The food was sensational and the portion size made it so I had more than enough for lunch the next day. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and they don't rush you either.

Worst Indian food ever. The food was watery, over oily, bland and disgusting. Never again! I preferred the previous owners when it was Spirit Fire. This is bad

Ordered takeaway. Chicken tikka Jalfrezi , mushroom rice, onion baiji. I doubt if it was tikka as there were no skewer marks in the pieces. A thick volume of grease covered the dish . The chicken was also overcooked .Very little taste apart from chilli. In general a poor performance. There was no pride evident in the production of this dish. I have eaten before in the restaurant and found it ok but this review should stand as a warning to the owners not to let standards slip as they will lose many customers in the future. Personally I would think twice about returning and this place is local to me.

Genuinely one of the best curry houses I’ve been too for a while IMMACULATE lounge and toilets Friendly staff and pleasant staff and the food was very good however the menus was a little confusing - music was low enough to allow conversation. Very happy 5*

This is certainly the best Indian food I tasted in a while the food was very authentic piping hot and delicious the staff are very welcoming and friendly I treat myself once a month. Sharon

I’ve been using this Indian restaurant for takeaways for over ten years and the food has always been really excellent. BUT the takeaway portions have become ridiculously small - chicken tikka at £8.50 consists of just 7 chicken cubes, other dishes even less meat whilst the naan and rice have also got smaller. Great food but not enough of it - prices can’t be justified - sorry, I really don’t like criticising local businesses but I simply didn’t feel my last takeaway was value for money.

Nothing like the original Spirit of Fire. Disappointed Now saying the restaurant was closed. What a heap of rubbish. I ordered from the establishment and have the credit card receipt to prove it. Bring back Khan and Ash. You guys are liars and by no means anywhere near the standard of Spirit of Fire!!!

Why are you still pretending to be Spirit Fire on Just Eat etc? You took my order (from Spirit Fire menu) and you don’t even do the dishes I ordered. You delivered some other random food….. this has to be illegal surely.

Dopamine and sensory heaven. Such a great ambience with the most perfect lighting and low level music. Food was amazing, we could have stayed for hours and will be back.

Had a lovely meal here. Prawn puri (£5.95) for starter, it had a most delicious sauce. For my main I had chicken pathia (£10.50), saag bhaji (£4.95), special rice (£3.95) and peshawi nann (£3.50). They were good sized portions and all extremely tasty. The service was excellent, I highly recommend this restaurant.

I only ever ordered a Chicken biryani as it come delivered for a tenner. I’d say there was certainly no spirit fire other than a basic tossing in a pan when my meal arrived in a plastic. Their traditional laid back approach sets them far behind in brownie points.

Very very poor effort. The vegetables sides were just cooked in tomato sauce. Nothing even vaguely resembling curry flavours. The Saag Aloo, Aloo Begoon, Mushroom Bahji are all fake. There is no way it should taste like this. Plain tomato sauce and nothing else and then charging for it is abysmal. We also got incorrect items delivered as well. Extremely poor effort. Won’t be ordering from here again.

We've just moved to the area and placed an order online, hoping to find our new local Indian. I rang after placing my order to ask if they could delay our collection for about an hour so my partner could pick it up on the way home and I had a lovely chat with the gentleman on the phone who was more than helpful and friendly. My partner said the service when he collected was also brilliant, the staff were chatty and welcoming. They spent some time to talk about the business and how they're hoping to reopen the dine in section again in the future. We were hoping for great things when we sat down to eat and we weren't disappointed! The naan were warm and fresh and light. The madras had a nice heat and the tikka chicken very flavourful. The sauce was thick with a great depth of flavour. The star of the show was a beautiful smooth and sweet lamb pathia, with the perfect balance of spices and a little warm heat on the tongue after. Great crisp samosas, again, very flavourful, and some crunchy bahjis. We struck gold with this one, I think, and we've definitely found our new favourite local. Can't wait to try again.....if the food is as good next time, I'll definitely raise my review to a solid 5 out of 5.

I cannot fault this restaurant for flavour. Every time we order from this restaurant being in house or at home. It is always excellent. Peshwari Naans fluffy and vegetable pakora crisp and flavoursome. The mint sauce yummy. The Green Chilli Masala has just the right heat. What more could you ask for ?

I've come and visited a friend of mine that I don't see that often and she has only ever had take away from Spirit Fire before but I wanted a sit down curry so she recommended we go here. Omg!! Amazing service, friendly accommodating and patient. Amazing presentaction and the food was amazing. I live in Dartford and I would make my way out here just to enjoy another meal here again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love the Spirit fire, the food is just absolutely faultlessly tasty, never had a bad one, always consistent in the quality of the dishes. I cannot recommend this Indian enough, My go to place for Indian food and will be for the foreseeable future. Seriously if you want great tasty Indian dishes order here or visit the restaurant. The staff are really great and always greet with a smile.

I’ve just had a mild lamb curry with rice & some samosas and they were absolutely delicious! Best of all the helping was so big there is enough left for tomorrow! Thank you the Authentic Indian Mamma in the kitchen knows her stuff 🤗

Amazing food and friendly staff

I went with some of my work colleagues and it was during the eat out to help out scheme. When we were ordering we were rudely told that we couldn’t order to much as they were too busy to box it up for us. Then we noticed that the tables on either side of us had their food boxed up for them. We were annoyed as I had wanted to order food for my lunch the next day. So I then asked a different staff member and he said he would be glad to bring some boxes over at the end of our meal so we could box it up ourselves. He was very polite. The onion bhajis were delicious. I ordered the butter chicken which was just right with sweetness and the egg fried rice was nice. I would go again but maybe take my own container next time.

We have had takeaways two weeks running and they were absolutely delicious!! Arrive piping hot.. Full of flavour .. Large potions .. Complimentary Pakara & mint sauce😉 Tandoori King Prawn was soo tasty Lamb Madras ( extra green chilli) is the best madras sauce I’ve had in years!! (And I do love a Curry where ever I am in the world) Definitely give this restaurant a try.. you will not be disappointed!!

During the pandemic Spirit Fire have been delivering excellent take away. The tikka chicken with green chillies wow. The staff tell me that the naan bread is so fluffy because they add banana.

It Absolutely Tastes As If The Dishes Were Made From Home And With Love. Although My Partner Was Complaining About The Long Delivery Time, I Was Able To Keep Him Quite By Stating "That Only Means One Thing Darling; The Food Is Going To Be Amazing!! And Spirit Fire DID NOT Let Me Down. They Delivered On Time And The Delivery Man Waited By His Car Until I Collected The Non-Contact Drop Off. Will Definitely Be Eating From Here Again 💖💛💚

Always hard to get a table booked on Saturday night especially at a good Indian Restaurant. I phoned at the last minute expecting to be told they were fully book at the Spirit Fire and indeed they were but the staff offered me an overflow table in the rear of the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this was and instead of all the background noise I was able to talk more easeily. Alltough very busy the food arrived quickly and was of a high standard. The waiters were very friendly and made a couple of recommendations to try some new items on the menu.

Three of us went on a cold Monday evening.The restaurant was quite which gave three men of mature years a chance for a few beers and a good chat. Service was excellent The restaurant special was a platter of mixed tandoori, rice,curry sauces and bread.The menu said it was for two so we suggested that they make it for three.The waiter said that would be too much food and suggested we augment a two serving with Bombay Aloh and Mushroom Bahj. The food was excellent ,particularly as the meat juices had soaked into the rice. With four large beers and service the bill was £27 each.Living very locally I've used the resturant for "take away" but certainly worth dining in.

We have had a few take aways from spirit fire over the years and ordinarily very happy with the quality and freshness of the food... I don't know if it has changed hands or a new chef but we had a family takeaway last night and so incredibly disappointed... The food was dry, over cooked and highly dissapointing... The nan bread tasted like cardboard and I suspect cooked earlier in the day... The pakora were overcooked and again did not taste fresh and the lamb equally was dry and overcooked... Overall I think we will be looking for a new Indian takeaway 😠

Ordered two starters with mains. All was cooked to perfection and the sizes were great because I couldn’t finish my main. The service was honestly really good and without a doubt I will go back. I really liked that it wasn’t massive inside which meant they really focused on customer service. If I do much as looked up they were there. I like that attention to detail.

I haven't had a delivery from an Indian takeaway for about 2 years, due to the fact that I was so always disappointed with the food when it arrived. However I thought I'd give Spirit Fire a chance and am I glad I did! I ordered classic Chicken Curry, Lamb Saag, rice, peshwari naan, Poppadoms and Saag Aloo. EVERYTHING was so delicious and exactly how like my curry to taste. I always get scared of ordering lamb dishes incase it's too tough or chewy but Spirit Fires lamb was succulent and tender. This is a great find, they have a new happy customer. Thanks guys! Oh, I forgot to mention that although I paid with cash, they brought a card machine to use, how handy is that! Awesome 👌👌👌👌

We came across this restaurant by chance. It is small (about 10 tables), the food is absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly. The prices were very reasonable too. It is right next to the Bush Hill train station for those that don't drive. It was so good we visited twice in the week were there.

Whether eating in or having a take-away, the food is excellent. The restaurant is small, but has character, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We walked in and ordered food to go and despite the restaurant being empty, the order took almost an hour to arrive. Biryani was flavorsome and the coconut rice was aromatic. The tandoori chicken was slightly dry but the overall experience was very nice indeed.

We moved to the area last summer and have ordered from Spirit Fire on several occasions and have always been impressed by the quality of the food. Last night we ventured to the restaurant itself and it is well worth a visit. The staff are lovely, the restaurant is clean and comfortable and the food is exceptionally good. We will be back!

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to - the staff are hugely friendly and the food never disappoints. We regularly visit the restaurant or get takeaways and the food is reasonably priced with great portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Just ordered and eaten a takeaway from spirit fire and hand on heart would say it was the best Indian take out I’ve had for many years Pefectly cooked non greasy and obviously freshly cooked dishes the bhindee bhajee was sublime 10/10

Absolute pants.was expecting good things from a takeaway having eaten in here before. I live 2 minutes away from the restaurant. Ordered the food. It was an hour late. The meat was over cooked and they forgot our Popudoms. At £60 for 3 people this was exceptionally poor. Won’t be ordering again.

Food was salty, overpriced and took a long time to arrive even though it was a basic dish. On the menu it mentioned the chicken would be coming with a salad, but all I got was a few pieces of onion. This place does not do justice to quality Indian food. I would not recommend this place.

I was disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food. I ordered grilled paneer but I did not get any salad with it - well if you consider a few pieces of fried onions as salad then yes. There was no sauce given so it felt very dry. I thought it should have been classified as a starter or side dish, rather than as a main. When I compare this to Turkish cuisine, I feel I have been overcharged for the little I got given. On the positive side, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of the way to accommodate us during a busy evening.

Spirit fire is a fantastic Indian great great great value for money and the food is out of this world , meat is always so tender and full of flavour , great range of dishes and warm friendly welcome and always a pleasant experience eating in or takeaway .
