Delicious dinner in an amazing setting. We had our 4 granddaughters with us and everyone loved it!!!

Wow!! Stumbled across this place by accident when looking for a vegan friendly eatery near Westminster. It was a delight! The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. We had the jazz brunch and the vegan brunch set menus. The flavours and presentation were outstanding. I highly recommend!

I am writing to express my utter disappointment with the experience my partner and I had at your restaurant on Valentine's Day. We arrived expecting a pleasant evening, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We opted for the Valentine's Day menu, which, while not particularly extravagant, should have provided us with a pleasant dining experience. However, after paying a total of £250, which did not included a bottle of wine, we were surprised to find that there was no dessert included in the meal aswell. The bigger issue, however, was the service. Despite numerous requests for our food, we waited for over an hour without any updates or urgency from the staff. It was disheartening to see employees laughing and socializing while we were left waiting. By the time the dessert should have arrived, 50 minutes had passed, and we had already decided to leave at 11:00 pm without it. It was truly unacceptable to pay such a significant amount of money without receiving the full service, especially on an evening that was meant to be special. Following the incident, I was contacted by Manager Fahid, who offered a 50% discount for our next visit. This response is deeply unsatisfactory. Rather than offering a future discount, I believe a refund is the appropriate course of action, given the poor service, delays, and failure to provide the agreed-upon meal. I am therefore requesting a 50% refund of the £250 we paid for this disappointing experience. I trust you will address this matter promptly and look forward to your resolution.

Great food and service. Make sure you are sitting in the main library room though. Their overflow room by the entrance is a very sad experience by comparison. Also I have to urge your to boycot their wine list because of the ridiculously high mark up they have averaging close to 5x retail price. Shameful…

It was the best restaurant I went to in London 👍 Every single menu item was delicious, and especially the servers were very friendly and friendly ♡ I ordered a set lunch menu for 4 people and ate different types of food together. Everything was good without a problem ♡ I will definitely go back when I go to London~^^

My wife and I were looking for a nice Indian Restaurant in London. Our Viking Cruise representative at Conrad Hotel recommended us The Cinnamon Club. What a wonderful place to enjoy legit Indian food! We really are very please with the selection of our dishes. The quality of food as well as the service was outstanding! We will visit the Cinnamon Club again in the near future!

Not the best experience. Our booking was lost (though we called twice that same day). Main was overcooked, dessert was poor (icey sorbet) and Im pretty sure i was served my cold coffee again after it was reheated. Drinks were late to the table and all in all the staff wasnt very attentive. Disappointed all round for the price.

Really nice place, enjoyed the food, would recommend if going for a business dinner. However tough with high end Indian food as some of the basic street food is amazing for a fraction of the price

The food was amazing, very modern and creative. Very focused on the details. I could happily eat vegetarian every day there! They also have meats, chicken, and seafood. The service was gracious, welcoming and attentive. 5 stars all the way! The atmosphere of the library is enchanting.

Interesting place. Dinner with colleagues. Everything we had was amazing. My main was Saag with chicken. Amazing. Wine was very good and the best was the pistachio kulfi.

Fabulous restaurant, incredible food and service. The historical venue still remains intact and elegant for this restaurant which food is heaven

This restaurant has a beautiful ambience and in isolation would be worth a visit, just off Westminster and the Houses of Parliament. However, it seems to have lost its identity along the way, and having been a fine dining, excellent quality establishment now seems to be uncertain of its target market. Cuisine The menu has a wide array of excellent dishes which should cater for almost all tastes. Whilst the description of each dish is more than enticing, the flavours are somewhat lacking or bland, and the quality of the cuisine seems to be less good than in the past. Almost stodgy. We chose the prawns as the main course dish and in both cases they were overcooked and lacking in texture and flavour. The team did mention that the preparation of the dish had been changed, but it seemed to us that this was not just about preparation but also about the provenance of the food itself. Service We had made the booking through a travel agent and requested a corner table, but the lady chose to ignore the request and instead placed us in the middle of the restaurant. Easier for the serving teams, but absolutely lacking in class or clever service mindset. During the entire period of our visit the restaurant barely filled up, and it would have been so much more clever to have placed the guests around the various banquettes to provide a more powerful ambience and give customers a premium experience. A missed opportunity by the lady on the front desk, and a missed opportunity by management on the training. However, the team were good, attentive, and the food was served at a comfortable pace. Possibly too quick perhaps meaning the food was perhaps pre-prepared? We had visited The Cinnamon Club in the past when the quality of the food was so much better, and perhaps it is uncertain which segment of the market it is targeting. This is a pity as it possibly loses out to all parties. Sadly, we will not visit again.

We enjoyed our meal, and the food was delightful. However, we found it challenging to understand the server while they were explaining each dish. On a positive note, the place and ambiance were excellent, contributing to an overall pleasant experience.

I took my wife here for Valentine’s Day, and whilst the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was terrible. To pack in as many diners as possible, they opened up a side room that they never use, which was bizarrely cold; many other diners were complaining about it. The service was slow, 15+ tables were all packed in tight together in order for them to accommodate as many people as possible. It was very awkward, and many of the couples around us who we ended up speaking to were laughing at how poor the experience was. A real shame because the main room looked fantastic online, but we didn’t see it - feels like we were missold. End of the day, greediness led to a really poor customer experience. Terrible value for £150 per head.

We went there for Valentine’s day and were severely dissatisfied with the food. Not only were the portions inadequate but also the quality and taste of food was below par. Especially for the price of the set menu we expected more.

I've emailed the Cinnamon Club with my complaint and have had NO REPLY. They continue with their poor customer service even though they requested publically my complaint be put in an email to them. I think a week for them to respond is fair, wouldn't you say? I'm waiting AGAIN

We have been to The Cinnamon Club multiple times now and the service, food and overall experience never disappoint. We come to London from the states and have to come back. The sommeliers are experts and have continued to recommend beautiful selections. When in London it is a MUST.

Visited here in 2014 for my fathers birthday and it was great. Visited recently and it was still fantastic. Food and service was great. A very unique twist on Indian food which made it very pleasant

Great restaurant for a special occasion

We dined at the Cinnamon Club for a 16-person business dinner. Sarthak was endlessly helpful with organising our reservation, and Ash and his team provided excellent service on the night. We had a three course set menu, and the prices were very fair. The food was delicious, everything went really smoothly, and the setting was fantastic. Definitely recommend for business dinners or groups of this size, as nothing felt like trouble. Thank you!

Every good is unique in taste and texture. The service and the atmosphere is calm and cool.

Excellent all round to celebrate a family birthday

Most delicious food, superb staff, lovely setting.

Service: We had booked in advance on OpenTable for a table at 7:30, saying that we are ordering the Tasting menu. We arrived early at 7:10, they were very accommodating and sat us at the bar while they set up our table, we got sat down around 7:20. And this is when things started to go downhill. They asked us to confirm that we are having the tasting menu, and then just forgot about us. The canapé arrived around 25 minutes after we were sat down. Each course after that was about the same, it takes them 10+ minutes to take away our plates after we were finished with them. It really just feels like we were forgotten about. When they took away the plates for the starter course, it was already 9:10 PM. We told them that the wait time between the dishes were a bit too long before the main courses, and they were able to serve the next course within two minutes. The servers did not scrape the crumbs from our table even though they did it for every table around. When they “explained” the dishes as they serve it to us, they just repeated the name of the dish and left. Overall: it felt like a night of waiting Food (tasting menu): The food was nice, but a lot of the proteins are overcooked (medium-well to well-done), I think this is because they were all cooked in the tandoor oven, which gave it a wonderful flavour (but they were overcooked). The dessert taste like it was just taken out of the freezer, as it was nearly rock solid in the middle. The naan was burnt, but they promptly changed it for us after notifying them. The tiger prawn and seafood makhani sauce was lovely; the prawn was nicely cooked, and the sauce reminds you of a seafood bisque. The portion size wasn’t too big as well, we didn’t leave full (probably cuz the only carbs from the tasting menu was the small dollop of mash) The à la carte menu items look really tasty tho Overall: the food was tasty, but did not feel like it was worth the 95 per person price tag.

Food was delicious but the butter chicken was packaged badly so it spilled on the journey - the other dishes were great, will definitely order again and hopefully the takeaway containers can be improved!

We called in here on the off chance we could get a table after a concert in a local hall, and we could! Very pleased they were able to find a table for us: the meal was fantastic. The Tasting Menu option was not initially given to us, but was available on request. We opted for the Tasting Menu: eight courses of beautifully presented food with incredible flavours. The waiting team were brilliant, friendly but not overbearing, and very happy to help recommend food and wine. Overall, a superb dining experience.

Went to the Cinnamon Club on Saturday for a big special Birthday, and we had a wonderful experience. We were well looked after and I would highly recommend the tasting menu. We will be returning! Big thank you to all the team!

It's just a perfect place to celebrate an occasion - this time my daughter's 21st BDay. The food and ambiance are spectacular, and they treat you like royalty.

It was as usual very good. However, I felt a bit rushed. For some reason although I didn’t feel it to be late for a Friday night, I felt rushed to pay the bill. A bit sad since I waited for 3 years to return and dine on this amazing place. Hope for a bit more relax experience next time.

A memorable evening. We had the couse menu on New Years Eve. Delightful tastes, jazz band, and great service. Best lobster bisque I've ever tasted.

A “fancy” Indian in the city. Menu was good, portion sizes medium, don’t expect the usual portion size for Indian. I enjoyed the food - everything that we ordered was good. Drinks menu also good. It was quite busy so service felt a little slow when clearing tables, or taking drinks order. At the price paid I would expect more attentive service. It’s got a nice atmosphere in the library, nice place for food. Close to all the Westminster sites.

I came with my parents from Spain and it was one of the most amazing dinner ever!! Our waiter was Akaba, and he was so delightful, kindly and lovely. I recommend it to the moon and back having the nye dinner in The Cinnamon Club💞 enjoyable experience💞 Thank you for all Akaba and Cinnamon Team💞

Extraordinary, but extremly loud

I visited Cinnamon Club in Westminster for an office Christmas lunch in early December. Although they didn’t offer a festive menu at the time, their Indian-inspired menu had an interesting selection of starters, main dishes and desserts. We had the option to choose individual dishes or opt for a three-course set menu, which turned out to be the better value. As a pleasant surprise, we were served a complimentary small finger starter to begin the meal. For my starter, I chose the fish cake, which was flavorful and well-prepared. My main course was the jackfruit stew. While it was a creative dish and generally enjoyable, I found the coconut flavor a bit overpowering for my taste. Nonetheless, the overall quality of the food was great, and everything was served promptly. The ambiance of Cinnamon Club is a comfortable, speakeasy-style setting that adds a unique charm to the dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Pricing felt reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. I had a good experience overall and would return to explore other items on their menu. If you’re looking for a place that serves Indian cuisine with a sophisticated twist, Cinnamon Club is worth a visit.

taster menu plus wine pairing absolutely memorable. I took my brother, sister-in-law & niece from Brussels on 28th dec 2024. The flavours were exquisite & I recommend this luxury to any foodie! Went for the Christmas menu @ £125 each. Thought the food was pretty disappointing, some interesting combos that unfortunately just didn't seem to gel. Food was not always hot. Some dishes were better than others but given the price expected a lot more. Had better at local restaurants at a fraction of the price. Service was okay but felt staff could've been more attentive and warmer.

Great Food in a brilliant venue. We had the festive menu - which had partridge and lamb chops as highlights and a brilliant tiger prawn dish aswell. Somebody at my table got the wine pairing which I thought was nice - however I am no connoisseur! Generally the food was fantastic with the exact right level of spice and fantastic flavours overall - the courses were all delicious and the meats were all cooked perfectly - i.e super juicy and fresh. The cocktail at the bar underneath the main hall was great and they delivered me a cake and a card to celebrate my 18th! Service was fantastic of course, as to be expected.

We spent a lot of money but had 3 Covid cancellations out of twenty and they charged for them plus any unopened wine since refunded .Been going there for more than twenty years and had many business lunches so disappointed Food good but poor management decisions

A Birthday Treat which completely lived up to the hype. Excellent.

We booked the Cinnamon Club to celebrate a special event on Sunday 22 December. My husband made a special visit there a week or so before the event to check it and spoke to the manager. He explained we would be coming after a concert and was assured that the timing was fine. On the night, only a few hours before we were due to get there the restaurant rang and cancelled the booking, saying they were closing early. It was then too late to find anywhere else and our evening was ruined. This is very poor unprofessional conduct and I would certainly not risk booking here again.

Visited the venue a few years ago and thought I’d do another visit but what a big mistake! Arrived early and had a cocktail (mmm which was very good) however the server wasn’t interested at all - it felt like we were doing him a favor. Bar nuts, no tissues - drinks not coasters. It all felt a little amateur brick lane ish. Moving to the dining room seated at a wobbly table. Stood up to get our servers attention (a common theme throughout the meal) Complementary bites lovely but had to call the server to explain it to us. Our dining room server throughout the meal treated us with quite a lot of contempt. Refused to repeat orders and made the meal difficult. At the moment of writing we are waiting for our starters and I’d better end this review now before I go into more details.

For most of my life, I have had an attraction to India and Indian food in all its forms. Whilst I can equally enjoy the cuisine of our local Indian and the trendy Indian “fusion” restaurants, my heart lies with the food from the Country of India itself. Whilst all our familiar high street restaurants produce some wonderful cuisine, many of them tend to emanate from Bangladesh and Pakistan. In my experience, the minority come from India itself. It is a big country with and wide cultural and culinary experience and yet, there is something about this country that makes their food different to their neighbours and our familiar high street experiences. The Cinnamon kitchen seems to encapsulate all things Indian and I was mightily impressed with the dishes on offer in their menu. There are elements of fusion in the menu but tradition is at the heart of the food and it is delicious. All the familiar spices can be discerned even though they are presented in innovative ways and combinations. The setting is a little bizarre being an old library and your bill comes in a book! It works though, and with the friendly and helpful staff, it all adds up to a really nice experience. It comes at a price though and it is expensive at every level. If I have a minor issue, it was that the service was not attentive enough. The food came out of the kitchen quick enough, so no complaints there, but we were left alone for long periods when we needed some service. In fact, for long periods there were no servers in the restaurant at all that I could see. Notwithstanding, these were not matters that spoiled my experience and I enjoyed my visit very much indeed.

Tasty food but most of it was lukewarm. If you only offer a few side dishes then you need to make sure they are available always, having items unavailable on such a small menu isn’t acceptable. The service was not up to the standard of such an establishment either. We won’t be rushing back that’s for sure.

Great food, staff friendly and attentive

We met friends for lunch before Christmas and enjoyed a delicious leisurely lunch. The set menu is excellent value and there is a good range of wine to suit all budgets. Although the restaurant doesn't accept new bookings between 14:30 and 17:30 while they reset table between lunch and dinner, we did not feel hurried to finish and resetting tables was discrete. Beautiful surroundings in the old library - a real hidden gem.

It is very fine dining restaurant, all food is very delicious but for me I can understand why some restaurants are giving very small portions. All service stuff are fantastic. Thanks for all service

Upscale Indian restaurant The varieties are distinctive and unconventional The food was very delicious and worth a try I asked about chicken biryani, tikka masla, and butter chicken, which are popular Indian dishes, and they said there were none. Incredible food from start to finish! Every dish is honestly a flavour explosion. The 2 highlights were the lentil dumpling canapé and the aubergine with pumpkin chutney for starters which was absolutely divine! We loved the mains too and the innovative desserts.

Akaba has exceptional service…amazing service and even asked the chef to replace one of the tasting courses for one I really wanted. Visited on Dec 10

Awesome food, excellent service, ambience average but quite noisy. There were 3 of us dining but we were politely refused a 4th chair to keep handbags & windbreaker. Otherwise all else was good.

Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious food in a really lovely venue. I enjoyed the Tandoori free range chicken breast with pickling spices and the Chicken Rezala. The breads were delicious, as was the Amuse Bouche and the Bliss mocktail.

Great food in a lovely location

We had a very nice and delicious experience tonight. The service was very attentive. The food itself was truly delightful, with just the right level of spice. However, both courses had been left under the heat lamp for too long, which left everything slightly dry on the surface. A particularly nice touch: if you find yourself waiting for your companion for any reason, there’s plenty of fascinating reading material all around you – loads of it, in fact. Amazing service and very tastefully curated dining experience - best jazz brunch ever! The okra starter is a must have - and if you have a sweet tooth like me, you’ll be beyond pleasantly surprised by the saffron cheese cake - delightful and delicate combination of flavours and textures!

Always come back in when I am in London, third time and always blown a way by the quality service, the harmony of flavour is like a symphony, and of course the Sommelier with a outstanding pairing that made the experience go to another level. I have only been here once for a work meal while visiting London for external meetings. This restaurant was such an unreal experience, the food was absolutely amazing with so many authentic and classic options, lots of different drinks options too and if you’re lucky… famous celebrities like the brilliant Sir Tom Jones who was such a gentleman.

Delicious food. This is one of my favorite indian fine dining places in London. If you love indian food you must try their 10 course tasting menu, combining it with wine pairing it’s another level!

I had an unforgettable dining experience at The Cinnamon Club in London, hosted in their elegant private room. The evening was made even more special by the presence of founder Vivek Singh and his incredible team, who provided exceptional service throughout. The standout dish for me was the Bengali mustard and rice pop salmon ceviche — a beautiful blend of authentic, nostalgic flavors that instantly brought back memories of my grandmother’s kitchen in Bangladesh. The complexity and depth of the dishes were remarkable, each bite bursting with layers of spices and tradition. Truly a celebration of modern Indian cuisine with soulful, familiar notes.

Do not bother if you want to have good Indian food. Very nice location and great interior atmosphere. Aubergine starter (Spiced aubergine steak, pumpkin chutney, masala peanut and moutabal) is so overcooked and parchef. Knife couldn't get through skin and took forever to chew Lamb main course (Clove smoked saddle of Romney Marsh lamb, corn and yoghurt sauce, keema saag) was chewy. Sauce is salty Is this cooked by a chef? A novice can do a better job.

Definitely gone downhill since the last visit. weighting staff were great, but food bland. Was very rushed on a Saturday evening. Main course came out 37mins after sitting down at the table. It first came out while eating the starters. It needs a bit of a refurb as the walls and lights need a clean and touch-up. Empty Bar at 7pm and still had to go and find the bar tender to service us after waiting an age to be served. Not surprised it no longer has a Michelin star. That seems light years away.

We dined at the Cinnamon Club this afternoon and opted for the 3 course Jazz Lunch Menu. From the minute we stepped in every staff member was attentive, and the service was high quality start to finish. The portion sizes were good and the £45 per head menu had plenty of options and each packed a punch with their flavours. Special thanks for our server Akaba who explained each of the dishes with good knowledge, and took the time to talk about the history of the restaurant. Deffo be back again. To add to that the ambience and style of the venue has its own special weighting.

Very impressive location. The staff was super friendly ! Unfortunately the food wasn’t that good. It was ok but the flavors weren’t so well matched and it tasted a bit boring. Unfortunately not worth the high price although the location was beautiful !
