I’ve been dining at Indian City for 12+ years and their service has not degraded in slightest whilst the Cullen reperfection has only increased only ever two delighted to frequent this establishment when visiting the area

I went for a date night! The location is perfect, and the food was lovely I enjoyed the biryani it was perfection with the right spice I asked for extra spice and it was spot on. The service was great we asked to move to a more cosy area and they were very accommodating. Will definitely go again!

Came here for our 25th anniversary. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. Had a lovely time. The food was probably the best authentic indian I've had in a long time. The staff made such a fuss of us when they found out that it was our anniversary. The chef even prepared one of his special dishes for us as an extra freebie.

We came our first evening in London and without hesitation we wanted to come back. The food is delicious the prices are reasonable and the wine is also affordable £37 for a Sancerre. The giant tandoori shrimp particularly charmed us. A big wow. Come try it

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at Indian City (St. Paul’s). Lucky to find a restaurant for our party of 4 plus one toddler, we pleasantly surprised by the welcoming service and ambiance of this little gem. The owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and the food was absolutely first class. Everything was delicious from appetizers, main courses; it was all amazing. Our granddaughter received special attention and we were treated to complimentary after-dinner drinks and chocolate mints; a very pleasant way to top off our experience. We couldn’t recommend Indian City more. You won’t be disappointed!

We happened across Indian City while looking for a Christmas Eve dinner with a hungry toddler in tow. Not only did this turn out to be a hidden gem, but the service was just as great as the food. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to have top-notch Indian but avoiding the overcrowded “trendy” spots.

Had a lunch set menu here with a work friend. We had an excellent experience, Riaz - our waiter was prompt with service suggesting some popadoms whilst we wait. Drinks were prompt, and when my friend was unsure what to order, Riaz made a suggestion as to something he might like which was chicken Bhuna. The lunch set menu covers two starters, two main dishes and an option of either naan or rice. Between us we had a chicken tikka, sheek kebab starters, with a chicken bhuna and chicken tikka masala mains, with naans. The food was excellent. Personally I prefer more chicken and less sauce but accept that this reflects the lunch deal and ls probably a more sensible for a lunchtime option so would definitely say get the two course. Even then I would say the serving size was acceptable but in no way generous. We also had a couple of bottles of coke and not the depressingly small ones too, so that was good. Finished off with a couple of hot wipes and a mint each. We spent about 40minutes from entering the door to settling the bill, so service was prompt perfect for a working lunch. The atmosphere was good for a working lunch, not too loud, but not dead, so very pleasant. Staff were respectful and well dressed. Came to just over £40 with service charge. Which I think is an excellent price to pay considering the quality of service and quality of food. I will definitely be returning some time in the future and would highly recommend.

AMAZING Indian food. One of the best I’ve tried. Came with work colleagues and the food is out of this world and great compared to the local area. The atmosphere is amazing will cook dimmed lighting and you feel like you are in a 5* clean restaurant. Highly recommend.

Honestly our favorite place to eat while in town. Our Indian restaurants in France are not quite as good as the ones we find in the UK. But Indian City as the best chicken korma you can find in London! It’s always a pleasure to be greated by familiar faces! See you next time! :)

I booked this restaurant for my birthday because I was let down by another venue last minute. The owner was very understanding and the staff offered the best customer service, very accommodating and made my experience very special. Thank you team for looking after us, I will recommend the food to everyone who loves Indian - even tailoring my meal to authentic extra spicy food. Chicken tikka biryani was my favourite dish. I asked for it to be extra hot and it was just that. The naan bread was fluffy and delicious. I also enjoyed the mango coco dessert. Recommended for a family reunion!

Came across this little gem in the city while working in st pauls. Always walk pass it and see its busy thought me and my work lot give it a try for lunch and it did not disappoint. Reasonable price with very tasty meal.

Happened across the restaurant just wondering for a spot for an evening meal, always feel a little awkward asking for a table for one, greeted with a sincere smile and a “yes of course” despite an already busy setting was a lovely start. Restaurant has two floors, I was taken to the -1 for my table. The team were working so well with a rowdy bunch of customers constantly changing their minds. Great service for me, good fun and delicious food. Highly recommend for a friendly and tasty meal. Thank you to your restaurant Indian city.

Ordered dal, paneer Karahi and bhindi bhajee. While the name of restaurant may suggest “Indian”.. the taste makes you wonder .. “Really???”…. So don’t go expecting authentic “Indian” food. The bhindi was raw, paneer karahi gave raw tomato flavour…. The waiter was rude ….when asked about Indian varieties and taste. Do not recommend!!

I’ve tried a few Indian cuisine spots in London and around the area so I had high expectations, and I must say Indian City did not fail to meet them . A notable mention to one of the waiters named ‘Alek’, who had ensured my whole night was just great, positive attitude, always helpful and great customer service. Highly recommend Indian City and big thanks to Alek once again.

Horrible food - ordered a lamb dish that was mostly onions and other vegetables - hardly any meat - bread was old and over cooked - probably store bought and reheated at restaurant. Food was way to sweet - the food was not enjoyable to eat at all - tried my hardest to enjoy it but failed.

I’ve visited this evening for dinner with my friends at Indian city, then food are so nice and delicious also service was great friendly stuff, most of them I really liked kind prawns 👍🏻

Ordered a tandoori mixed grill which was dreadful the tandoori chicken was undercooked and there was no difference between tandoori chicken and chicken tikka. Also ordered chips as side and they only thing u could u can taste was the oil. Nothing to say about the service which was great they tried to help and have hot wipes. And too expensive. I would recommend to the restaurant to look at the menu again.

We tried Tarka Daal and it was the best and same as chicken karahi. The chicken starter was also delectable. But the prawn was a bit spoilt. The people at the restaurant were very friendly and the service and ambience were great. And also the coconut ice cream with chocolate sauce was really nice.

Tall waiter went out of his way to chase us down the road more than 200m to return our camera we left at the restaurant. Food was great, all staff were kind to our two young boys and didn’t charge for a dish that was incorrectly sized. Thanks for having us!

On a random walk during our visit to London, we came across this place and being it was less than half an hour away from their closing time, the staff was very kind enough to serve us. The atmosphere was great, the cleanliness was impeccable. We ordered Chef’s special Nawabi Lamb Shank for main course and Duck tikka for starters. It was our first time trying duck and I can say we weren’t disappointed!! We’ve eaten lamb at the infamous “Dishoom” as well and I think their lamb dish was at the same level or may be even better because of their unique touch and presentation. Server’s were very welcoming and polite. Highly satisfied with both the experience and the food - Would definitely come back again!!

Dishes are unreasonably sweet and lame, totally not worth that expensive price. Never go again and will never recommend anyone at all. I really regret the dining experience here. The owner even replies extremely rudely and without respect to the genuine reviews. Horrendous experience.

Indian food without taste of spices, all masala we had are all too sweet and tasted the same. Never tried a sweet version of Palak Paneer before. It was very disgusting. Biryani was just a tasteless fried rice.

I recently visited the restaurant hoping to enjoy an authentic Indian meal, but was left quite disappointed. The dishes we ordered were overwhelmingly sweet with very little spice or depth of flavor. Even the naan bread, which is usually a nice accompaniment to soak up sauces, had an unpleasant sweet flavor that didn't pair well with the entrees. PLEASE DONT ORDER BUTTER CHICKENS, that was so weirdly sweet. 100% a disaster. I hope I’m not getting diabetes tmr. Bless me

I have to say, this was the best indian food experience I've had in a long while! the atmosphere is moody and peaceful (they play smooth jazz over the speakers) the service is impeccable and of course the food is amazing! I've been a few nights in a row now as well! Their lamb dishes are to. die. for.! I have a personal taste for Indian food and have been to many a restaurant, but this is by far the best.

Absolutely amazing, last minute as we were watching the football next door, so hadn’t booked, so accommodating as there were 9 of us, food was excellent, everyone enjoyed what they had and friends started to sing happy birthday to me when lighting the candle so they knew it was my birthday, brought out a little cake, so thoughtful, thoroughly recommend and would definitely go again.
