I recently dined at Indian City near St. Paul’s, and I have to say—it was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in London! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, and it was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy, rich, and had just the right amount of spice. The garlic naan was fresh and fluffy, perfect for soaking up the sauces. The ambiance was lovely—modern yet cozy, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. The service was outstanding, with the staff checking in just the right amount without being intrusive. For the quality of food and service, the prices were very reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend Indian City to anyone looking for amazing Indian food in the St. Paul’s area!

We had a wonderful meal at Indian City! Ali was a warm and fun server. We tried the Chana Masala and starter sizes of the salmon tikka, vegetable samosas, and lamb chops, plus mango lassis. For two, this was more than plenty delicious food. The atmosphere is elegant yet casual, so we felt welcome after a day of walking around. If we come back to London, we will eat here again.

Reservamos una mesa para las 8 pm y nos sentamos enseguida. El restaurante estaba muy ocupado, pero nuestros pedidos fueron tomados rápida y eficientemente. El personal que nos encontramos era todo amable y eficiente. La comida fue servida rápidamente y encantador y caliente y muy sabroso. Las bebidas eran perfectas y justo como pedimos. Comimos pollo dhansak y gambas reales pathia como platos principales, ambos eran excelentes, muy sabrosos y especiados justo a nuestro gusto. Los guarniciones de cebolla bhajee y paneer sag también eran deliciosos. SFR era bueno también. Podums eran gratis y venía con chutney que se repuso para que pudiéramos disfrutarlo con nuestra comida principal. Nos sorprendió gratamente que la factura era tan razonable, la factura final incluyendo 6 bebidas a base de vodka llegó a £ 85. Nos sirvieron chupitos de cortesía y chocolates y una toalla caliente después de haber terminado de comer. Gracias Indian City por una gran experiencia y para aquellas personas que dicen que el personal es grosero tal vez mirar su propio comportamiento?

Our second (and hopefully not the last) visit to this gem of a restaurant. The service is brilliant, and I love the linen napkins and table covers. Complimentary poppadoms and pickles, which were very tasty, especially the lime pickle. Prawn puree and onion bhajis for starters were both the best we have had. We both had delicious lamb dishes for mains. A very reasonably priced and excellent meal, highly recommended.

I went for a date night! The location is perfect, and the food was lovely I enjoyed the biryani it was perfection with the right spice I asked for extra spice and it was spot on. The service was great we asked to move to a more cosy area and they were very accommodating. Will definitely go again!

Came here for our 25th anniversary. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. Had a lovely time. The food was probably the best authentic indian I've had in a long time. The staff made such a fuss of us when they found out that it was our anniversary. The chef even prepared one of his special dishes for us as an extra freebie.

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at Indian City (St. Paul’s). Lucky to find a restaurant for our party of 4 plus one toddler, we pleasantly surprised by the welcoming service and ambiance of this little gem. The owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and the food was absolutely first class. Everything was delicious from appetizers, main courses; it was all amazing. Our granddaughter received special attention and we were treated to complimentary after-dinner drinks and chocolate mints; a very pleasant way to top off our experience. We couldn’t recommend Indian City more. You won’t be disappointed!

Had a lunch set menu here with a work friend. We had an excellent experience, Riaz - our waiter was prompt with service suggesting some popadoms whilst we wait. Drinks were prompt, and when my friend was unsure what to order, Riaz made a suggestion as to something he might like which was chicken Bhuna. The lunch set menu covers two starters, two main dishes and an option of either naan or rice. Between us we had a chicken tikka, sheek kebab starters, with a chicken bhuna and chicken tikka masala mains, with naans. The food was excellent. Personally I prefer more chicken and less sauce but accept that this reflects the lunch deal and ls probably a more sensible for a lunchtime option so would definitely say get the two course. Even then I would say the serving size was acceptable but in no way generous. We also had a couple of bottles of coke and not the depressingly small ones too, so that was good. Finished off with a couple of hot wipes and a mint each. We spent about 40minutes from entering the door to settling the bill, so service was prompt perfect for a working lunch. The atmosphere was good for a working lunch, not too loud, but not dead, so very pleasant. Staff were respectful and well dressed. Came to just over £40 with service charge. Which I think is an excellent price to pay considering the quality of service and quality of food. I will definitely be returning some time in the future and would highly recommend.

AMAZING Indian food. One of the best I’ve tried. Came with work colleagues and the food is out of this world and great compared to the local area. The atmosphere is amazing will cook dimmed lighting and you feel like you are in a 5* clean restaurant. Highly recommend.

Honestly our favorite place to eat while in town. Our Indian restaurants in France are not quite as good as the ones we find in the UK. But Indian City as the best chicken korma you can find in London! It’s always a pleasure to be greated by familiar faces! See you next time! :)

The owner was very understanding and the staff offered the best customer service, very accommodating and made my experience very special. Thank you team for looking after us, I will recommend the food to everyone who loves Indian - even tailoring my meal to authentic extra spicy food.
