Have enjoyed Wilstead Tandoori for 6-8 years, but unfortunately since new takeover in past 1 year the quality is seriously degrading. Iām one to not judge on one bad curry but after numerous ones over the last 6 months alone I thought it was worth a review. On the hope this constructive feedback will drive some improvements. Lastnight our order as an example was incomplete, the Naan bread was tough and wife & daughter couldnāt eat it, rice containers 25% empty so where Iād normally split a rice between our 2 daughters, this wasnāt possible. The chips were hard, hollow and tasteless. Mixed grill starter was swimming in grease, unfortunate I missed a further review below who had a similar bad experience with that dish. On calling up to challenge the missing item, they told me it was a bad signal, but they didnāt feel the need to check the order back with me ?!? They also agreed to send a new rice. Upon getting the missing item and new rice, the rice was wrong again !!! My wife on her birthday was left watching us eat our meal to have hers 40mins later, with rice she wasnāt keen on and cold naan. Hope situation gets better..

Best food I have ever had, tastes like I'm back home in india. Been coming to this restaurant for the past 6-7 months and the food is delicious, and also the service is brilliant. Feels like I'm sitting at home when I come to eat here, they always looks after me Definitely recommend, if you haven't been here you're missing out

This has to be the most disgusting indian takeaway I've ever had! The vegetable curry only had onion in it, the dal was just just like slop so we didn't even attempt to eat it! I would never order from this place again. It was our first and last experience. My advice would be don't waste your money!

Went there the first Saturday after the relaunch as Sahilās Spice, was pleased to see the changes in the decor, my wife and I had the mixed platter starter and our son went for the Lamb samosa, both were delicious and well presented. I went for a standard main a Chicken Dansak which was spot on, the wife had South Indian Garlic Chilli which was delicious, my son normally likes it a hot Naga decided to try the Royal Masala which is a Masala but made with a Naga chilli sauce it was delightful combination and he thought must have again in the future, the various vegetables and rices dishes we had was very good, the Garlic + Chilli Nans also good. Service was a little erratic, but to be honest it didnāt bother us the whole experience was superb.

Food quality poor overall. The Garlic Nan & Shami kebab were tasty, but then chicken Pasanda was inedible, it was too hard/solid to eat, just like a rubber/eraser. We waited 42 minutes between starter and main. Also, following a telephone order for collection the previous week, they forgot to pack my main course. When I rang to complain, they argued that they hadnāt. So I thought Iād return and ask for a refund. I didnāt bother because I just wanted to pay and get out of there.
