Lovely atmosphere, excellent food, brilliant staff, loads for the kids to do without disturbing anyone, great for a visit on your own or with others. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Regular customer - starters were lovely, as usual. However, the mains (Manang Ko Khasi) were EXTREMELY oily. Way more so than ever before. I hope it's just a one off mistake, so will give the benefit of the doubt. However, if it's the same next time I will have to look elsewhere.

Very disappointing. This was our second visit here, but a totally different experience to our first! The service was very slow with no apologies. The food also left a lot to be desired. I left the bulk of mine and when asked said ,I didn’t like it. I was then asked if I wanted it boxed up to take home ! When the bill came there was an automatic service charge on it ,which we asked to be removed ,as there was no quality of service

This is the best curry house around. It's consistently well run with immaculate service and excellent cuisine. The management take great care that everything is good for you. £65 for two, popadoms, chutney, samosas, main course curries with rice, beers. Love this place.

Came here with my mum and her friend for dinner (recommended by this friend who has been a customer for years). From the minute you walk in you are given the warmest welcome. Service was exceptional from the start. The menu is varied and has something for everyone's taste. The food is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Probably the best Indian meal we have ever had. All the staff were friendly and made this a night to remember.

We went on a Tuesday for their starter, main and rice/naan for £17 deal. Good food and very attentive waiters despite the place being full (clearly the deal attracts custom). The atmosphere was friendly, with a bit of a buzz but not too noisy. Recommended.

My wife and I first dined at the Angel Spice over a year ago, when we found the service and food quality to be top notch. But for the the last three visits, although the service has been efficient and attentive the food quality has drifted south - to a point where I think last night's visit will be our last. As I say, the service was fine . . . but what came out of the kitchen was, in the main (and barring the starter), bland and underspiced, under-seasoned and generally underwhelming. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was all "poor" but there was certainly nothing presented to justify a "very good" rating - IMHO. To be brutally honest I've had more flavoursome food from the ready-meal chillers of local supermarkets. I think a degree of complacency seems to have been allowed to creep into the kitchen since I first visited - which is a great shame and all too common within the hospitality trade. Hopefully this review will act as a prod to the chef to up his/her game for the benefit of future diners? Sorry guys.
