Just had a wonderful take away chicken korma for tea from the lovely lads at Cinnamon. The little touches of extra salad and dip were a nice touch. Was recommended by the caravan club site we are staying on. Thank you all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND XX

First visit and very very impressed with the food. The ambiance is very good too, the most comfortable chairs in any restaurant ever, nice linen napkins - all good, but the slow service has to be mentioned. two and a half hours to eat a two course meal is too long, waited almost an hour between ordering and receiving starter. We were told this was due to very busy takeaway service! Really! I feel that restaurant diners should get priority over discounted take-aways. There is a caravan site nearby so the takeaway trade is constant. We did not tip and explained the reason why, hopefully they will take note . Never the less I will return because the food was worth the wait, best Indian I have ever had in more than 50 years of eating Indian food. Light, fragrant and interesting dishes.

We stayed t the Graham caravan and motorhome site close by and decided to book a table at this restaurant for 7pm. We arrived (4 adults) as per the booking and were asked to wait. The restaurant was very busy and there only appeared to be 2 waiters who did everything from working behind the bar to serving and collecting the dirty dishes to taking orders or receiving payment for the meal. 25 minutes after arriving we were shown to our table, drinks were ordered and received some 20 minutes later. The waiters then disappeared off for a considerable amount of time 30 mins or so before taking our food order. The food although was fantastic and served on hot plates took forever to arrive. The chicken tikka masala was the only let down as it was no better than a cheap jar of tescos own brand curry sauce.. When the bill came no longer are the popadoms free or the side pickles etc as they were all chargeable. We finally left t 21.30. So don’t go if you’re expecting to have a quick meal.

Very disappointing visit. Had quite a few takeaways which have been fine however we decided to dine in one Saturday evening which was a mistake. Due to quite a few takeaway orders coming in and being cooked in priority to people dining in the restaurant meant long waits for our food. Sat down at 18:40 order taken for drinks and popadoms which turned up 10 minutes later. Then the waiter took our starter and mains order at 18:55. Despite asking where are starters were after 30 minutes they eventually arrived at 19:55! The mains came soon after at which time we weren’t really hungry anymore. They deducted the starters from the bill and apologised saying it was due to lots of takeaway orders. Feeble excuse and making diners waiting. Will not be returning I’m afraid.

Our first visit to Cinnamon on 18 November 2023. Absolutely delicious food from poppadums to starters (onion bhaji and chicken shashlik) to mains (lamb kachuri and chicken jalfrezi) - out of this world! Really nice welcoming staff and good value too. Impossible to fault, we will be back!

Food was nothing special I won'tbe going back but will take further. I gave them a chance to look into it and correct it but they would not even look into this.

One of the worst Indian food experiences I’ve ever had. Food was bland, poorly spiced and basically watery sauce with a few chunks of chicken.

Unfortunately, very typical of Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants across the country catering to a particular demographic, Cinnamon is no exception. Poorly seasoned and spiced food using low quality ingredients resulting in a forgettable dining experience that bares no resemblance to what Indian food should and could be. If you like it great, but if you know proper Indian food and understand wonderful flavours, forget it.

The only problem with The Cinnamon is, it is very difficult to go elsewhere. If we go somewhere else we always say" it is not as good as The Cinnamon". The menu is a 'starter for 10'. They will adapt any dish to suit you. I often have lamb in the place of chicken. And occasionly say "just a touch more chilli please" and the dish come out just as I want it. We took a friend there once and she liked a particular curry that wasn't on the menu. They made it for her. Long may it continue!

I’ve eaten at hundreds of Indian restaurants over the years and I’m afraid this rates as one the worst. Nothing is freshly made. There wasn’t even a sign of fresh garnish such as a sprinkling of coriander. The vegetable Jalfrezi was just shocking. It was made with frozen vegetables and had absolutely no flavour. The Bombay potato reminded me of Barking & Dagenham rather than Bombay. It had almost no sauce and the potatoes themselves tasteless and underdone. The lamb madras was made with the cheapest cuts of lamb and consequently contained lumps of gristle. Almost everything lacked seasoning, just lots of chilli powder rather than made with fresh chillis. Even the poppadoms were served cold. There’s simply no excuse to serve up such poor food. And it’s not cheap either! There is clearly a lack of competition for decent Indian restaurants in the area which has led to extraordinary complacency on behalf of the owners; Grafham has so few places to eat. Situate this restaurant in any town that offered choice and it would be put out of business in a week. Abysmal

We were staying in the area and rang up on the off chance of booking a table at short notice. Although they were busy we were successful and four of us sat down at 7.30 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is very well set out and attractive, the food was really good with excellent sized portions and overall we were very impressed with everything. Looking forward to a further visit in the not too distant future. One extra plus point is a community run pub close to the restaurant where we were able to have some real ale beforehand.

We were staying in Grafham and ordered a takeaway on Friday evening, 7th May. The restaurant offers an extensive menu with a 10% discount for takeaways (which is all they can offer under present covid restrictions). The online ordering process was straight forward, including payment and collection time was set for 6:30 pm. Total cost £23. The order was ready within 5 minutes of my arrival and the staff were efficient and polite. The meals came with an extra popadom and yogurt dip and chopped onions (complimentary). I had a Lamb Dupiaza and Pulau rice, my wife had Chicken Korai with vegetable rice. Portion sizes were good (in fact perhaps too much for us). Both meals were tasty with rough chopped vegetables and subtle spices as expected with Dupiaza and Korai. However, neither had much heat which we would have preferred. That said, when we placed the order online there was an opportunity to add comments in a box and if we were to use the restaurant again, we’d ask for hotter spices. Overall, good meals and reasonably priced.

We were so looking forward to treating ourselves to a takeaway encouraged by the 25% discount offer. But sadly our £45 meal turned out to be very disappointing. The portions of meat and king prawns were generous but every one of our 3 main dishes and 4 side dishes were so lacking in any of flavours associated with Asian cuisine. They were all so bland and uninteresting. Such a disappointment especially since we have enjoyed both meals in the restaurant and takeaways in the past. I will say that the online ordering was very straightforward.

We ate in at this restaurant with our grandson, who loves curry. It was his first eat-in experience at an Indian restaurant, and we wanted it to be a special treat. First impressions were generally fairly positive, although we were disappointed that there was no 'Track and Trace' procedure in place. We noticed that none of the staff wore face protection. As for the food, unlike any of the countless Indian restaurants my wife and I have visited, the meat constituent of the main course came already on the plate, not in the usual dishes. This, together with the awkward triangular plates and the rather runny sauce, made it virtually impossible for us to share the food as we would normally do. All the dishes, including the vegetable side dish, were very bland, to the point of being tasteless. I had one of their 'specials', containing lamb, chicken and king prawns. The chicken was quite edible, though not really tender, while the lamb was decidely chewy, with one piece being almost inedible. As for the 'king prawns', I immediately set aside what I thought was a chicken wing, but what turned out to be the one and only prawn, complete with shell and totally overcooked and charred. To get anything edible from it was exceptionally difficult, and I soon gave up as it was not very nice anyway. My wife's dish - again one of their 'specials' - made no mention of it containing onions, but the dish came with quite a substantial proportion of them and little evidence of the other vegetables mentioned in the blurb. She had cosen this dish specially, as she does not like onions. On receiving the bill, it was unintelligible, mostly being in some sort of abbreviated form. I expect it was correct, but it was impossible to be sure and I didn't want to pursue the issue as it would have upset our grandson on his special evening out.All in all, a very disappointing meal at a restaurant we have not visited for some years, as we do not live in the area. We certainly will not be going back there in a hurry.

We visited Cinnamon based on reviews we saw on trip advisor and were hugely disappointed. To start with the poppadoms were soft and the pickle tray bland. The main course was mediocre compared to other indian restaurants we have visited in the UK and the service was pretty much on the same par. We were in the area and fancied a look at this restaurant. It was a chilly dark early Sunday evening. First impressions as we walked in were the warmth and wonderful aromas filling the air. Our waiter was very quick to meet and greet us and before long we were tucking in to a couple of poppadoms and customary accompaniments. This turned out to be perfect as we fancied the set menu for two priced at £35 and a reasonably priced £14.95 bottle of Chilean Merlot. Both the starters and main course were delicious and the choice of Coffee or Kulfi left us with only one choice-both. I first came here 3 years ago when were staying at the CC site at Grafham. Its within walking distance always a bonus if you want a drink. The first change was that they no longer sold Mongoose lager on draught , a real shame because this is in my opinion far superior Kingfisher or the other Indian lagers but at least they sell it in bottles. We were quickly seated and proceeded to enjoy poppadum's and pickles For Main I had chilli lamb with garlic and onion rice my wife had chicken Madras with mushroom rice. The madras was excellent my Lamb dish was good though not the best ive had . This is a really pleasant restaurant situated on the main street of the village and always very busy with I guess locals and folk from the nearby caravan site, well worth a visit if in the area

My husband and I called in without booking on Friday night. The restaurant was busy and we thought it unlikely that they could seat us. However the waitress was extremely welcoming and found us a table for two. We found all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was a tad slow but they were very busy. We found the food to be very tasty although we thought the chicken had a slightly 're-heated' taste to it. The only thing we really felt let the meal down was the coffee. We think it came from a machine and although we asked for regular coffees they were very creamy and frothy and lacked a proper coffee flavour. A minor grumble bearing in mind the rest of the meal was great.

Myself and 3 friends arrived about 6pm so we didn't have to book. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. After ordering drinks, we were offered poppadoms and dips while we were waiting for our meals.service was excellent and the food was amazing. Portions were big but we asked for a doggy bag and got them.An unexpected eatery in a village but worth going to.

This is a very popular resturant, its been refurbished inside and has a seperate resturant to bar area. Staff are very friendly. Recommend you pre book particulary at weekends and during the summer months as visitors to the local campsite use the restaurant. The food is amazing. They are child friendly and give a nice token of a lollypop or chocolate to the children at the end. If ordering a take away they do offer you to sit and have a drink and poppadom whilst you wait.

We took the caravan away for a few day and were staying in the village, at 7pm on a Saturday there were only 4 spare tables says a lot! The service was first class and the food was out of this word, one of the best curry's we have ever had.

Food was OK and its good that this place exists in Grafham otherwise there would be nothing - but the food was a bit bland and lacked strong flavours.

A last minute decision to grab a takeaway as we were staying nearby.A quiet evening and therefore we were served immediately. Order taken and whilst waiting we were served poppodums. Very friendly staff, food was nice and hot and very tasty. Highly recommended.

A group of us had dinner there last night - the service was good and very friendly, but it took quite a while for us to all receive our mains. Once all the mains were served, those of us who had ordered rice had to wait even longer. By the time my rice was served, my chicken balti was cold. Tried to get the attention of the staff to ask them to warm it up, but had no luck. Ate what I could and they kindly bundled the rest of it up so I could take it home. The balti was good, but it was a bit too sweet for my tastes and I've eaten in my fair share of Indian restaurants. The garlic naan was very good and freshly made. Overall, I'd go back with just my husband and give it another go.

Very yummy freshly cooked food, excellent service, made our occasion an occasion. Though when we got out of the car I wish I'd taken a photo of the faces of some of our group - outside looks a bit like a run down village pub (especially the back view from the car park). Inside was lovely, quiet enough to hear conversation round the table although there were no empty tables. Definitely worth more than the 'first of one in Grafham' rating - we'll make a point of stopping there again just for the restaurant. Chicken and mango korma... the thought of it is making my mouth water, a month later!

We have been a frequent visitor to the Cinnamon in Grafham for several years. We have always received a warm welcome, and have had consistently great food. The best Indian restaurant I know. Thanks

Nice setting in a lovely village. Food was ok. Great starters and rice dishes. Disappointed with main dish. Looked and tasted like a cheap Indian takeaway dish. I eat a lot of indian food hence my judgement. As we use the caravan site a lot we would return but would be more choosy in main dish choice.

Food is fantastic and loads of it The pickle tray was full of fresh pickles, no watered down mango chutney here! Wish I lived local as the bar area is unique to a restaurant like this.

Been here a couple of times now with my colleague. The food is very good and we have been well looked after. I would say that they are maybe a little conservative with their spice ratings (a medium is more mild-medium) so maybe go for something rated spicier than you'd usually go for.

Though on the edge of a remote village, Cinnamon has class and is worth the journey. We wanted to linger long for business discussions but weren't made to feel in the way. Service was attentive when needed. Food very good.

From the moment you arrive the customer service is excellent! Popped in on a Sunday evening and had the nicest Indian meal I've had in a long time! The bread arrived piping hot and fresh, starters were exquisitely presented and everything tasted gorgeous! Having eaten in all the Indian restaurants in this town for many years I can honestly say this is by far the best!
