Awful water downed, tasteless mush. We used to love Leeja palace but what we have just had delivered is beyond belief. So many Indian restaurants within our delivery area are taking short cuts either employing terrible chefs to cut costs or watering down food, with no spice, l9ve and care being taken. Such a shame Leeja has gone the same way. No more takeaways for us.

We have used Radha caterers multiple times and their food never disappoints! We always get such great feedback about the taste and quality of the food, hence why we keep going back! Rikesh is fantastic, very polite and always very accommodating! He has gone above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it!

Very highly recommend Tangoe’s restaurant. They cater for Vegans, Jains, Swaminarayan’s and also serve gluten free options. We found the food to be of a very high standard, which was served fresh, hot and extremely tasty. I also found that they take attention to detail when taking the order to bespoke to what we want. Very friendly staff, and clean restaurant. We highly recommend. One of the best places to eat in Leicester.

Extremely poor slow service Food took over an HOUR to arrive in our table Ordered a chicken tikka dansak the chicken was NOT chicken tikka had not been marinated in tikka sauce! Also ordered Bombay aloo as a side dish could not believe my eyes the potatoes were the TINNED cheap small round ones!! I mean TINNED potatoes!! It was almost completely tasteless the the sauce was as bland as possible as was also my main dish! And it was not just me as a family we had ordered 4 different main dishes ALL were bland almost tasteless so was not just my dish! When I complained about the lack of service and its duration to serve main meals ( over an hour) Waiter said ‘ that was normal for them’ I also said about being served TINNED potatoes in my aloo , this he would not reply too! I refused to pay for the Bombay aloo! So in summary if you want to wait an age for your main course and then be served with bland almost tasteless TINNED food then don’t say you was not warned!

Ordered a takeaway on Uber eats, said it would arrive no later than 8.15, at 8.16 I checked on the delivery only to find it had been cancelled because they couldn't fill the order. Very disappointed and upset as it was already quite late for us to get a food delivery.

This is a traditional paan house! They are ok, go there ask for paan that’s it. No issues. Pleasant people.

Missing items in our order, replaced with items we didn’t want and the curry’s we ordered were lacking in flavour. The lamb biryani tasted more like mutton, extremely chewy. The nans were broken up and tiny for what they charge…Overall, extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend.

We visited Bobby's Restaurant in Leicester yesterday and, as always, ordered our favourite dish – Bobby's Special Chaat – with our usual request to exclude the green (chilli) sauce. This has never been an issue in the past, whether for dine-in or takeaway. Despite the restaurant being largely empty – with only a small group of young boys preparing to leave and a couple packing their leftovers – we were left waiting for quite some time. I even had to remind the lady at the chaat counter that my car parking session was about to expire. When our order was finally served, there was no polite greeting or gesture, and disappointingly, no serviettes were provided. What followed was even more upsetting: the food was overwhelmingly spicy, packed with red chillies (powder) far beyond our tolerance. It felt as though the recipe had been changed altogether. We’ve enjoyed this dish many times before without the green sauce and never experienced this level of heat. When we asked the waiter whether the recipe had changed, he simply said no. Unfortunately, we couldn’t eat the food and had to leave most of it uneaten, walking away with a bill of £24.75 and a very disappointing experience.
