I paid £12.99 for small thali which is £4.50 on shop..

I ordered takeaway from here, 3 curries, some breads and samosas. The food arrived on time and all of the dishes were really tasty with individual flavour (not all using the same base sauce). We left a note when placing the order not to make the food too oily, and the food arrived exactly as we had asked. I'd happily order from here again.

I tried to order over new years system was down, would not accept online orders, this happens every 2-3 weeks

We ordered the Daal Kachori, Onion Bhaji, Ragdo Petis, Baingan Bartha and Masala Mogo which were all really spicy, even the Paneer Pasanda was very hot. I normally tolerate medium spice easily andflavor and other spices with too much chilli. Pilau Rice was nice! I ordered from here because I love Pani Puri but instead of the filling on the side, the crisp, little, hollow balls were prefilled, making them really soggy and the side sauce in the pot was not tasty. Unfortunately the 1 roasted 1 fried Poppadom were also a bit soggy. The service was quick and it seemed good quality ingredients. The menu doesn’t have much description, except whether the dish is vegan, this could've helped me select a medium or milder dish. Really reasonably priced and good portion sizes so I was disappointed the hot spice overpowered the whole meal.

Food quantity was limited compared to our expectation. Ragdo petis had mashed potatoes no petis. Aloo paratha was sweet potato paratha

Fresh and lots of good flavours

Marked vegan options which is what drew me to this place at first as it’s so annoying when trying to order food and it isn’t marked and you have to ring up and ask about everything. The food was hot, tasty and fresh, but it was very oily. Not so much that it ruined it but it’s something to consider. I particularly loved the baingan bertha (apologies for spelling - the mashed aubergine one) and the daal kachouri was really nice too. Pilau rice was fragrant and tasty too. I would order from here again :)

Food portions are too small for the price

Food arrived late but in good condition but the service was very poor and delivery driver had audacity to ask for a further pound for delivery as it was “bit far out” for him!

This is amazing vegetarian food - definitely one of the best in Leicester. Great curries (we had paneer tikka masala and veg jalfrezi) and amazing rice dishes. The pilau rice is made with fresh spices and vegetables - and the paneer biryani is the best I've had. Great paratha too. Satkar is highly recommended.

Was meant to be delivered at 8:35 & comes at 9. I have ordered from these guys years ago & they bought my curry but didn’t bring NaN Bread 😂 After years thought I try them out but now nearly half hour late. I am not complaining to get discount code or free voucher so don’t worry... just won’t be ordering 🙏🏼

Good food, tasty...hopefully you can do more khatiawari food in the future plus the lassi I got was way to less for the amount I paid...overall the food was good

Excellent food, so different to the usual curries we get. All the starters were fried really well, no grease. Very good value and love that the vegan dishes were labelled!

Don’t waste your money, I ordered two different curry, both curry test are same, really it’s make joke, readymade naan used, aloo paratha comes without aloo, cheap quality of food

Its aRip off for the price I paid the food portion was so so small! Horrendous! I ordered a Tiffin Thali for £12:99, Which was barely enough to fill, feed one person , for that price I would say daylight robbery it's not a 5 star hotel takeaway! With tiffin there was no snack starter or dessert which you get at some takeaways included.

There was slight delay in the delivery which is probably due to restaurant was busy. Food was nice as expected. Would recommend definitely.

The delivery guy did not have change and I had ordered with cash. Luckily I had some spare change laying around, but it would be worth noting delivery guys should carry more change for cash orders.

Tarka dal tasted burnt. Potato curry was bland. Sevpuri.. puri was stale! Iv ordered before and loved it but today was not nice at all.

They don't know how deal with customers paid money with discount but they not considered it and by Forse take full price.after calling just eat they give me discount money back . service is very bad.not happy and won't order again from this restaurant.....

Arrived early and with a smile, very hot too but the food lacked depth of flavour and several dishes tasted too similar. It was ok for a change but there are other vegetarian restaurants That we prefer.

Great fresh and clean vegetarian food with friendly service. One of my go to places for take away. I would recommend the samosa chaat. Perfect chaat masala, fresh sev and sauces.

Ordered vada pav, mushroom rice and jalfrezi paneer, rice was cold, oversalted, mushrooms looked dead, paneer's gravy was greasy, tasteless, only thing you could taste in that was onion, vada pav was soggy with some ketchup-like sauce, food ended up in the bin, never had worse indian food than this.

Satkar does amazing, authentic, cheap vegetarian curries and snacks. It's the best takeaway Indian food we've had in Leicester - we get it at least once a month! The paneer bhaji, the rajma, and the chole bhatura are our main favourites, but the kachooris, pav bhaji and crispy bhajia are all pretty amazing too.

We moved to Leicester six months ago and have been working our way through the Indian takeaways. Satkar is the one we keep going back to. Incredible, cheap and real Indian snacks and mains. The Baingan Bharta, Chole Bhatura, Paneer Bhaji are all amazing!

Decent food reasonable price.. more of a takeaway.. not much space to sit..

This is a great little takeaway just off the main golden mile (Melton Road). With authentic Indian curries and really helpful staff. The food is delicious and we can’t wait to go back. We had a small Thali (includes 2 curries), Jeera rice, Paneer Butter Masala, Satkar Special Veg Curry. All amazing.

If I want to eat veg this is the place

The Koftas were good and paneer biryani was moderate ...however the worst jalfrzi we ate till date...( everything was over cooked and and the onions plz tell chef that’s not the correct dish - ) I regret ordering that dish..

Given two star for good service,warm food however for what we had ordered the Pau Bhaji had too much hot masala & masala movie was very good.

I am a native indian, and i recognise a genuine authentic curry when i have one. The dishes i tried so far are : Okra, Aloo Paratha, Masala Tea

The only way I can describe this food is "heart food". Its so nice it actually made me feel more upbeat after a bad day.. This was my first order and it was fantastic. The mixed veg curry is really tasty with the butter nan. The onion bhaji's and punjabi samosas are great but what you really need to try are the noodle samosas, they are the best samosas ive ever had and thats saying something because I eat pletty. I highly recommend and will be ordering again. Thank you guys, you did a bbrilliant job

Noodle Samosa - One of the nicest things I have ever tasted. Thali and Chilli Paneer were delicious albeit a little on the spicy side. I like heat so not an issue, but you may want to ask them to tone this down a bit should you prefer the milder things in life.

Haven't felt well enough to cook today, so I thought I'd try a new restaurant. Love it when a place I've not ordered from before does a thali- lets me try a few things at once. Really tasty food, good price, generous portions, just the right amount of heat. Cleared my sinuses and lifted my spirits. :D Will be back next time I need an emergency takeaway- thanks!

Ordered crispy bhajya waited 20 mins for them only to find them not so crispy. Chutney was more like ketchup.

Satkar Zindabad. Excellent food, fresh and authentic Indian. Loved every morsel of it. 100% recommended. I'm from Mumbai and this was comfort food. An absolute must try. Will surely call in again.

El personal es muy grosero que eran indiferente y se sirve en un orden aleatorio en lugar del orden de llegada. Parece que la asiduos sirven antes que otros, incluso antes de los clientes nuevos de primera vez! Nos dijeron que para salir de nuestros asientos, así que el verdadero cliente (los clientes habituales) podría sentarse! Y estoy minusválidos! Chocante manera de tratar a la gente que podría potencialmente ser asiduos, y que sin duda dicen amigos, familia, colegas, etc, por el boca a boca sobre las actitudes del personal y pésimo comportamiento. Cuando finalmente llegamos, el personal tuvo el atrevimiento de decir, servimos a nuestros clientes de primera (real refiriéndose a clientes habituales), aunque cómo consiguen repetir negocios es más allá de mí. Avance rápido, la comida era muy salada, muy chili caliente, hasta el punto de ser comestible después de un par de bocados, y muy grasosa, me refiero muy aceitosa, una buena pulgada o más de aceite sentado en la parte superior de las penosas porciones. Cualquier plato con patatas era principalmente patatas con apenas otra verdura. Los chapatis estaban duros y olía mal. Tuvimos que salir de ellas. La presentación era mala, caía al lado de la de bolos, toques de otros alimentos mezclados, muy desordenado y poco atractivo. Los cubiertos estaban sucios, y así fue que nos sentamos en la habitación. También estaba frío, así que tuvimos que sentarnos con nuestros abrigos. Fuimos con alguien que utiliza para conseguir llevar entregado hace un año, y esta era su primera vez dentro del "restaurante". Parece ser que los precios han subido mucho y las raciones se han reducido. La mala higiene es inquietante, el maltrato de clientes nuevos es horrible, y el personal muy corto, increpando a los humores otros clientes por razones sin sentido, por ejemplo, alguien me pidió un vaso limpio como el suyo estaba nublado, y el hombre comenzó a jurar en ellos diciendo que salir y nunca volver! Además, rechazó su dinero y ni siquiera comer! Durante la cena, Papá pidió otro papel servilleta como su bebé utiliza la otra para soplar su nariz, el desagradable miembro del personal dijo que es una servilleta por cliente y que el dinero no crece en los árboles, y que el padre debería haber traído en su propios tejidos. La Madre fue al wc para conseguir algo de papel higiénico para la niña, y el personal dijo que habría que cobrar por esto ya que no estaba siendo utilizada como papel higiénico! No podía creer mis oídos. No hace falta que diga que no será uno de sus clientes "de verdad", y en su lugar se visitará otros restaurantes en el área de

Delicious food but almost cold when it arrived 20 mins late.

Después de dejar gran críticas de este lugar en el pasado, estoy muy decepcionado con el servicio de esta noche. Pedimos comida para llevar, que era una hora más tarde y con artículos que faltaban. Mi comida estaba perdiendo! (No hay disculpa) de todo lo que se dijo era "estamos ocupados" que como clientes habituales, sentí un poco de un insulto y mal servicio al cliente.

Perfect food with respect to taste and quality( as always) . And most importantly on time! If only you could include some South Indian dishes like idli (and or if there is demand maybe from other customers) , it would be great. I have tried most from other places but did not like the taste. I am pretty sure that if you guys introduce it in your menu, it would be "delicious". Just a suggestion from a regular customer... Thank you for yet another great meal today...

Great food..veg jalfrezi was amazing great flavours..only let down was the chutney that came with the crisp bhajyia ? Nothing special just watered down tomatoes with a bit of chilli...but would order the curries again...
