Chatwala in Leicester

Lovely food, all flavours were very authentic. Will definitely will be returning back. Both Jaspreet and Harpreet were very welcoming and attentive to help.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Chatwala with our family. We were served by Jaspreet, who provided excellent service throughout and was very attentive to our needs. Her thoughtful gesture of offering a high chair for our baby boy was much appreciated. The staff overall were well-mannered, polite, and welcoming. The ambiance of the restaurant was also pleasant, making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I visited Chatwala Restaurant in Leicester this afternoon and had an excellent dining experience, We were served by Jaspreet. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, and Jaspreet ensured that everything was just right. Highly recommend Chatwala.

We have never been disappointed with the food here - it's always fresh, always tasty and there is always a pleasing twist on one thing or the other. The prices are extremely reasonable and the location, being just opposite the Leicester temple, is very convenient. The staff today - Kabir at the till running things, Amrit, Jyoti and Parneet were all very very good!

Came to Leicester for the day, and came across this place for a bite to eat based on a friends recommendation. This place did not disappoint. Amazing food, very authentic Punjabi style street food, and extremely flavoursome. The staff were really friendly and helpful, in particular Kabir, Jyoto, Parneet.

Great food and service. We were promptly seated and order taken after a few minutes. Portions sizes are decent and the entire family enjoyed the meal with the paneer chaat being a firm favourite.

I walked in today with a friend and were told to sit down. Nobody came to our table so we walked up to the desk and asked the waitress very politely we would like meal deal number one which was on their menu she replied that they are not doing it today they were doing the buffet. It was the same food on the menu, so she asked us to pay first so we paid for the buffet Walked into the buffet room and it was nothing what we expected. It was just terrible food so please be careful when buying a buffet I normally come here with my wife I will not be coming anymore because the service the attitude and the food is terrible now, I’m not sure if it’s under new management or they just don’t care. It’s sad to see a business failing like this through their own doing !!!

Parneet and Joyti provided excellent service and the food was delicious as ever.

I went to Chatwala today and as per usual, we enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the service! Jaspreet looked after us all well, service with a smile. We regularly come to Chatwala after school! I would definitely recommend Chatwala.

I have sev puri this evening it’s extremely special with bird eye chill spice quite bad experience never want to go aging and i have taken take away dahi puri she forgot to put puri in that was of money

The food tastes really nice. We tried Veg Burger, papdi chaat and schezwan paneer with tastes authentic. Jyoti who serverd us was very friendly and helpful.

Ordered 3 items - chilli paneer, Hakka noodles and paneer sandwich. Noodles were really bad, no taste at all. Chilli paneer was okay. Had to wait 30 minutes for the paneer sandwich and it was really bad. Do not recommend and would not visit again.
