I have always received great food and great customer service from Papus.

Had mixed kebabs. Good portions, very tasty.

Amazing experience, generous (delicious) food serving and hospitality. Owner was very nice. Would 100% recommend. Fish and chips + doner kebab goes hard.

Don’t order fish and chips from here as it’s certain to upset your stomach and the batter really isn’t batter it’s more like a donut on fish which isn’t my idea of fish and chips. Save your money and go elsewhere and when we called the shop they made out they didn’t know what we was talking about. The ignorance was not very nice.

cod was very chewy with no taste, chips were ok but they forgot to deliver my drink

Late feedback, as life is so hectic. But as ever Papus only ever deliver the BEST. This order was Large Cod and Chips, and Large Mixed Kebab. We swap and share for taste, and as always the Quality and Obvious Care In Cooking Great Food Is Tasted..PLUS Huge Portions. For my meal..Your Large Cod and Chips, along with that tasty curry sauce, is still a Bang On Winner. My kebab fusspots, also say the same for your great offering. Best in Nottingham..Simple.

I treated myself to a mixed kebab. The service was friendly and efficient and the portion size was generous and good value. The kebab was tasty, including the hot sauce. What's not to like?

Visited Papua’s fish and chip on 07/09/2023, The owner was so welcoming and such a lovely person I asked for a small fish and chips and he ended giving me a extra portion of fish on the house , The fish and chips were perfect , crispy from the out side soft from the in, Clean and fresh much better than Mother hubbards , Will definitely visit again

Received Wrong Order, But Was Replaced ASAP.

This is not my first review for Papus - nor it will be my last. EVERYTHING here is simply spot on perfect. From their fish..large cod as usual - which is always so extremely tasty and well done. Likewise their chips - true proper Old School style excellent chips, cooked to perfection and full of that traditional best of British flavour. Portion sizes and prices. You get great sized portins, never compromising on quality, and at one of the best prices currently to be found. Their curry sauce..if you like curry sauce - is the proper mix and flavour, and lovely to add to some of your chips. The kebabs..we order the large mix kebab, is again literally one of the best kebabs to be had anyplace. The staff. ALWAYS superfriendly and polite, as are the delivery guys and girls. My young man who came out to deliver this quality food, held his hands up to NOT accept a tip..!! And said "No, too much..!!" I'm a dominant caring Old Bull though, and I kindly placed the few pounds in his hand, and thanked him with a smile for bringing me my lovely food. If you love fish, chips, kebabs and more - then Papus is hands down the best to be found for all the right reasons. Like I said. Not my first purchase or review here, and certainly will not be the last !! Thanks so much from a happy household !! Pete

Average service but food was goox fresh.

The fish didn't have much taste at all, mushy peas colour and taste is synthetic. The doner was good though.

I've used Papus now for over 4 years. Never go anywhere else. 10/10 for service and food. Always piping hot and very tasty. Couldn't reccomend enough. Very helpful and always early delivery. Well done everyone.

Well for one my food was missing the best item on the list! Large fish!! But most of all I've never tasted such bad quality sausage in batter! They cheapest taste its like mashed cardboard!! They did apologise for forgetting my fish but it literally ruined my meal! Muchy peas with no fish!? Huffff

Ok chip shop. The portions are a bit tight for the price that you pay. The chips are ok Fish was not the best. Better off going to Crown Island Chip Shop or Mother Hubbards if you want a nice piece of fish .

I live 10 minutes away food comes cold all the time . Phoned them and they was disrespectful. Now i order my food from angelos chippery they take 30 minutes to come and the food is always hot . Doesn't make sense 😔😔😔😔

Usually order a kebab from here which is always good. This time ordered fish and chips which was great. Ordered two large chips between 4 of us and only used one because the portions are big. Will definitely use again. And again.
