Always order takeaway and it’s great, decided to dine in for a change and it was brilliant, food is amazing, friendly service and bring your own beer, would highly recommended

A great local restaurant with lovely food. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food. The restaurant has recently had a refurbishment (late 2024) and it's improved the overall feel of the place. Recommended.

La comida era todo sublime y cocinado a la perfección recomendaría encarecidamente el entrante chispeante de pescado y el curry de Bengala. No es el más barato, pero se obtiene lo que paga y este lugar es absolutamente de primera categoría, somos tan afortunados de tener este restaurante local

Ordered take away to a local holiday park and this has to be one of the best Indians I have ever had! Everything arrived promptly and steaming hot. The dishes were extremely good value for money and so tasty! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for such a lovely meal😀

We've been eating here for well over 3 years at least once every 6 weeks as a group of friends from work, we've always had a lovely time, great food and service but tonight I feel we've really been let down, we had booked a table for 14 of us and was asked to pay a deposit which we did without a problem even though we are regular returners, the occasion was for our work Christmas meal, the restaurant was empty at 5.30pm when 10 of us arrived but had to wait and wait for our drinks order to be taken, then another long wait to be able to order our food, in the end we had to ask to order, even though the menus were all placed closed on the table. Our food was served to our tables but the person handing and naming the dishes was very unsure of the dishes himself, one of our party was given fish in a sauce instead of lamb which could have been dangerous ! The naans has to be split as he didn't know which was which, items were also missing from the order, extra drinks were ordered through out the meal and a bottle of cobra that was brought in error instead of a coke was put back in the fridge with a lid being placed back on the bottle to appear unopened ! The bill arrived, over £400 but it didn't look right, so it was queried, on top of all the above they had only deducted some of the cash deposit we'd left them as they apparently needed to bring more staff in for our party and nothing could be questioned as "they only work there" I feel very disappointed with the meal tonight, the service, the food, the un helpfulness of the head bar man and their blaze attitude towards us, we really feel like there's been a shift at the Mint Leaf recently and arnt going to be in a hurry to return, I wonder if by refusing to deduct the £40.00 off our bill in hindsight was worth it ?

FRIENDLY welcome ! Staff are patient and have time for you. We didn't feel rushed. Staff were happy to take photos of us as it was a special occasion. Food was better than we expected. Best onion Baji and Peshawari I've had . Lamb Buna was beautifully cooked and thankfully no fatty meat. Will be back very soon . Oh and thanks for the extra chocolate mints 👌🤩

Missing items in our order, replaced with items we didn’t want and the curry’s we ordered were lacking in flavour. The lamb biryani tasted more like mutton, extremely chewy. The nans were broken up and tiny for what they charge…Overall, extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend.

This is the second time we have been here The food is always plentiful and always hot. Will definitely be putting this restaurant on the top of my list.

Absolutely lovely hot and very tasty

Your meat cuts are awful, fatty and bad, bad cuts of chicken, you’re using cheap cuts to maximise on profits but yet charging £12.50 for some curries which is extortionate.

Pre Ordered on just eat at 4-45 to be delivered at 8. Restaurant not answering phones. Had message to say delivery man on his way at 8.52 an hour later not here so at 9.35 I drove to fetch it got there. There were people in the restaurant saying they were waiting and another lady ordered for 7-45 she was there waiting. The staff were stood about talking and eating in the kitchen. They weren’t busy at all. The driver had arrived at my home whilst we were there. Got home which is only 7 minutes away the food was dreadful. Bhajis were cold and rubbery the naans were hard and cold. The order wasn’t even complete, 1 curry missing. Will never use again and will never recommend. *** Don’t waste your money or time here ***
