Called in at 10.40 in the evening to be told they were closed when it clearly says 11.00pm on the signs and in the window.

The menu online is out of date. The price increase for me was from £17 to £25... A 47% increase

Dry over cooked meat , naan breads like rubber, very salty curry sauces but the chips were good!

Ordered the gunpowder lamb and the goan duck rogan. Lamb was tough and chewy and the duck was bland with sides and extras it was about £37 plus was charged extra handling fees via their app. Disappointed is an understatement.

The order never arrived called the restaurant said it was on the way still didn't arrive, called again and was told they hadn't received the order although confirming it and taking the money. Will not be ordering again.

Disgusting service, we ordered a takeaway for myself and my grandson at 6 15pm we waited 2 hours, and it still hadn't arrived. We rang up, and they said it was on it's way..no delivery. we rang up AGAIN now to be told that they hadn't received the order, although they had taken our money!!!!! The worst aspect of the bad service is that my grandson is diabetic, and he has to eat at regular intervals, WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS!!!!!!!

When it was on just eat they did my favourite thing, potatoes and rice, now you can only order on their website they don't do it anymore :( gonna have to find another curry house now

Had a lovely takeaway last night … everything spot on. Delivery prompt too. Will definitely use again.

Have used this takeaway service before. We ordered around 5.30 for collection around 6.30. We ordered online, easy process, 60p fee for bag including service fee. I arrived and they were just putting last items in the bag. Very friendly staff. We both had bhajis, I had chicken dopiaza and my wife had balti chicken delight. It was all delicious, especially the bhajis with a nice fresh salad and sauce. We shared a plain nan and plain rice. Was more than sufficient in size as well. Hard to believe there is better in the area. Great experience. Will use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

First time trying tiffin, we had the £24 Sunday deal, having tried the majority of Indian restaurants in Sheffield. We have our favourite and don't usually stray. But I'm glad we did. The food was piping hot, fresh and plentiful. Staff very polite and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Been ordering from here for a while now. NAN breads have slowly and slowly gotten smaller!! and don't get me started on mint sauce, its like its now made from the Myst from dragons breath, 50p for half a container . This used to be free, curry's are OK. But don't expect a full plastic container. Just be were of the stealth £2.50 delivery charge not mentioned on the menu.

The BEST curry by far! Always arrives hot and well packaged. Plenty of regional dishes from hot to mild. Highly recommended.

Delivered via the app and it said collect after 50 minutes. Arrived and they hadn't even started cooking it yet!! It then took another 40 minutes. Got it home and some of it was missing. Won't be ordering again

Just ordered takeaway & 1.5 hours later & still no food. The phone is engaged & I can only assume it’s off the hook so they don’t have to face unhappy customers. Not a great Father’s Day meal!!!!

Got told the delivery time would be 1 hour. 2 hours we waited for our ordered. Tried phoning multiple times to see where it was and nobody answered. When we eventually got through they were very rude. We have used Tiffin multiple times but this will be the last time.

Gorgeous curry. The best I’ve had in a long time. We ordered ahead and all food was ready for us on time. The onion bahjis are amazing.

The food is usually great from here, though I ordered a mango lassi the other day and whatever dairy product they used was 100% expired. I passed it go my girlfriend to double check and she took one sniff and agreed immediately. I poured the drink out and the smell was even worse. I called up just to let them know, not looking for a refund or anything because the food is usually so nice, but the person on the other end was immediately defensive and assured us everything was in date. They hung up without saying bye or apologising, then called me back a few minutes later to tell me everything was in date. Just because something is in date doesn't mean it's not spoiled 🤦‍♂️ Their only solution after rudely hanging up was to send another one out. Unless you're using different ingredients why would I want another spoiled yoghurt drink? The customer service has put me off ordering from here, which seems to be a theme in these reviews. Shame cause the food is really good.

Ordered from here a few times, fantastic food, on time too. I made an order tonight however, and received only half of the order (conveniently not the two most expensive items), at which the driver just shrugged his shoulders with a "they just shoved this in my hands". Tried calling and was just ignored. Ruined the evening, wont order from here again and do not recommend to others.

This used to be our favourite Indian takeaway but last week we ordered our favourite dish only to find the chicken had bones and gristle in the sauce. We thought it was probably a one off and ordered another meal today, this time we found the biriyani sauce only half filled and my daughters tika masala was missing the sauce. Not impressed and I don't think I will be ordering from here again.

Ordered a paneer biryani, aloo chop & some chips online at 18:40 to collect, will be ready at 19:30. I eventually get it at 20:00, having waited in shop nearly 40 minutes? No idea why such a small order took 1hr20, especially when I can hear orders being taken on phone & told to collect in 25 minutes. This has happened to me a couple of times here, but today was the last time as I won't go again. It's a shame, as the food (when it eventually arrives) is really good - although we've also had times when order has been wrong after all that wait

So many bad reviews for this restaurant. Very unfair because the Tandoori dishes are very generous with huge pieces of meat and flavoursome sauces. My wife ordered one of the Streetfood dishes(chat) which was very tasty and healthy and came is a huge portion size for only £3.50. Really enjoyed it and the sauces were thick and spicy - enough left over for another meal, yum.

Ordered food for the first time tonight, only recently moved to dronfield. The food was very tasty, was really hot we couldn't fault any of it, my partner collected it and said the staff was nice and friendly too. Definitely be ordering from here again.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE , ordered a takeaway Sunday night at 18.45 for collection . Waited 1.5 hours which was fine . On arrival I was then told they have given my food to someone else . This was our first time ordering and will definitely be our last .

Called at 18.50 on Sunday evening placed my order for collection . Told 1.5hrs . I went to collect my food 20.20 only to be told they have given my food to someone else . Really !!! This was our first time and last time we will order from here . Couldn’t organise a lash up in brewery .

Order two nights running send the first nights back as it was cold and we’d be waiting two and half hours for it so thought we’d give them another shot the following night again it arrived cold and the drive offered no change when handed a 20 pound note for meals that cost 18 pound This was not the first time that they made a mistake with our meals Won’t be using them again now

Excellent food. Great service. Recommended and cooked a dish for us that wasn't on the menu...we really loved it. Fabulous chicken pakora! A small mistake with the order, but they sorted it immediately and dropped the missing dish off in a few minutes. Credit is always deserved when you correct your mistakes in the right way...thank you. See you again.

Best Indian takeaway EVER. Usually I would think that such an extensive menu is an indication that nothing is perhaps particularly well done, but this place is amazing. We try a different dish every time along with an old favourite and they are all unique in their flavours.

We tried Tiffin for the first time last night after some disappointing takeaways from other places in Dronfield. We ordered online and chose a time to collect, all worked brilliantly well. The food was delicious, one veggie and one meaty and both of us were really happy with what we had. Will definitely be returning.

Awful food. Couldn’t finish the meal. Used to use this place a lot but hadn’t had a takeaway from them for a few months. Will not order again. Really disappointed we wasted our money.

If you want the wrong, cold food an hour late waste your time with these clowns. I had to ring 89 times for them to awnser my call and after that, I got no explanation. First and last time.

Food really good and tasty, nice flavour, reasonable price and delivered within the hour, BUT please invest in some better bags. Lifted the paper bag out of plastic bag and handle snapped, result was curry on floor and over worktop and all cartons smashed, right mess but food was good.

Tried this place for the first time on a Saturday take out. The portions were mostly sauce , very small pieces of chicken in the Madras and not many of them and the Gunpowder curry was the same and was not particularly hot just very red. The potatoes were good though. Bit disappointed so wont be going again when there is so much choice around.

Awful food. The paneer was literally inedible. I mean, who can muck up frying cheese? It had the texture of a brick. Really really bad.

We had the Tuesday deal a few weeks ago, was very watery. We put this down to it being on the deal for them to economize. Went to collect a takeaway tonight which we was told ready at 8.30, 8.35 he gave me the bill, i asked if was ready he said yes they was packing it. 8.42 - no meal, he then said he was making the nan. This was no good to me as within the shop there was several people , with no masks on. During COVID you do not want to be queuing in a shop mixing with others, it should be in and out. Offered me 2 poppadoms for being late - i did not accept as think he needs them more than i do !! Should also be no mask no service,They Should Care about customers health not just their profits!!! Added items on their new menu together came to 21.95, charged 22.40 which isn't the first time i have been overcharged by them.

Had a couple of takeaways delivered to my parents’ house. We’ve all really enjoyed the food. Excellent quality.

Have regularly ordered on Sundays getting the £20 family special. I phoned through for one in June and was told it was not available and a new menu is coming out. Ended up costing £15 more than usual for our order use they got some items wrong. Disappointed when I called in for a new menu the family meal is on the new menu. Blatant over charging and feels a bit deceitful. Will be using an alternative take away from now on.

Takeaway food never arrived. Lied to repeatedly over the phone that it was on its way at 9.20pm and 9.40pm. Eventually gave up at 10pm and cancelled the order after placing it at 7.54pm.

Although the food was good (after heating up) don't order from here if you are in a rush. Ordered food at 7:20, told should be delivered at 8:20, turned up at 9:00.

Would concur with the other recent reviews that standards have slipped. Food had always been good, bit the attitude of the management is a real let down. 1.5 hour delivery at the beginning of the evening, has been a similar time before. Called and management rude and don't care. Will try the others next time

Food nice but took 1 hour 30 to arrive.

We have ordered from Tiffin a couple of times in the past and the food was nice. However when we last placed an order it arrived with 2 dishes missing. I rang the restaurant and the man I spoke to was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. He started shouting at me down the phone saying that I never ordered those dishes, he then changed it to we had ordered them and they were sent out. He then said if we hadn’t received them he wouldn’t be sending them back out with a driver and I would have to go and pick them up. I was about to explain that I was going to leave it as it wasn’t worth the hassle when the man on the phone carried on shouting at me and then hung up on me. So rude! After speaking to a few people it would seem I’m not the only one this has happened to! Disgusting!

To be fair we have had several good takeaways from here - but tonight - totally rubbish.* ordered online to gain 12% discount - apparently now stopped.* popadoms very greasy. * initially we realised order arrived without nann bread - they did redeliver these.* then we realise no onion bhaji. Terrible take away. Full of chemicals, meat very tough and no good. Delivery was for the third time over an hour late from time stated by just eat. Il keep it short and simple the management are rude, on their menu it states free delivery within 3 miles and they attempted to charge me over the phone however on just eat the delivery is also free. So I said il order through just eat, got left for 1 1/2 hours and no food turned up. Just generally rude and have no manners what so ever, the food is nice but not that nice.

I was really looking forward to trying Tiffin for the first time after hearing good stuff about their takeaways. We were going to go to our usual, Samad’s, but looking at the stuffing menu and saw the “10% discount on collection only” and thought amazing! So we ordered and said on the phone we were happy to pick up for the discount. However, when I went to collect, the man charged me full price. When I challenged him and pointed to the menu on the counter that clearly states 10% off for collection, he was rude and told me they no longer do it and have replaced this with a loyalty card. Again, I challenged him and said this was false advertisement. His response was rude and acted like it was my problem. I told him we only came to pick up based on the discount and his response was “well delivery would’ve took a lot longer love”. Overall their customer service is horrendous and their menus are completely false advertisement. Will not be using their loyalty card in the future as we won’t be going back. We will stick with Samad’s.

We order from here regularly and we’ve never had a disappointing meal. Excellent food which arrives freshly cooked and temperature is always hot. Always on time or about 5-10 mins early. Consistently good. One of the best we’ve tried (and that’s a few, as big fans of Indian/Asian food). Definitely recommend.

Food arrived 45 minutes late, luke warm and no apology from restaurant or driver. We live 10 minutes away.

Had tandoori main as starter, mushroom rice king prawn sagg £17 per person...portions large, curry sauce provided with starter nice touch, king prawns huge but only 4...best take away in a long time...30 mins in sat night...will be back fabulous!!

Always order from here but this time is was vile the chips, that undercooked and cold they look grey, the rice was cold and they charged 75p for a few mushrooms in a curry won’t be ordering again as absolutely disgusting and not their usual standard at all...

Collected a great takeaway last night. Everything was freshly cooked, plentiful and tasted great. Full of flavour. Will definately be back!

We ordered £43 worth of food tonight and nearly 3 hours later, the food finally arrived. I rang after 1 hour and 30 mins to be told the food was on its way which it clearly wasn’t!! I tried ringing 27 times to find the phone had been taken off the hook when it had gotten to two hours since the original order time. When it arrived, the delivery driver admitted every order had been late tonight. After speaking to Abdul at the takeaway on the delivery guys phone, they took £5 off. £5 off to which when we opened the order we were missing a pickle tray and only had 3 poppadoms for 4 people. The food was average and I will never be ordered again from here!!! Absolutely livid, this place is a joke.

Omg love this place, had a take away and yes best curry in Yorkshire so far, been here 8 years and yes I have found great curry’s BUT this place tops it off lol must try and when you do you want go anywhere else. Sorry to any other curry’s shops as this is going to take top place . Thank you for an amazing curry.

We’re quite picky about our Indian food and have tried just about every Indian restaurant in chesterfield at some time. Quite excited to see a new takeaway with an interesting menu. Wow! What a very pleasant surprise. Tiffin delivered restaurant quality food. My king prawn Dansac had a delicious sauce, lots of fresh herbs and lemon and the most succulentl king prawns. Without a doubt we will be returning and recommending this gem of a takeaway

Ordered food from here on a Saturday night. We live nearby so were able to collect it in person as we were told there was an hour's wait for delivery. The place is very popular at the weekend so be prepared to wait. Everything we had was delicious and we shall certainly order from there again.

Not our usual takeaway and was our first visit. Went in with my husband and sat and looked at a menu, ordered then went in the pub for 30 minutes, food was ready as soon as I went back. Got 10% off for collection so paid /£20 which was what we usually pay which got us 2 mains, 1 starter, poppadoms, garlic naan and chips, alot of food for the price. We both enjoyed the food better than out usual takeaway, the lamb and chicken both tasty, well presented in plastic tubs, will definitely use them again.

This is a very expensive takeaway and so you would expect a higher than usual standard of food and service. Not the case. Food took two hours to travel a distance of 15 driving minutes, despite a call to them asking where the food was. When it arrived, it was cold and not what we ordered. My dish, for me, was almost inedible as it was full of coriander although we had specifically requested none in the dish. Another dish was full of vegetables, although we had specifically...... You get the picture. Won't be ordering from here again.

Even though food was nice be careful of been over charged I worked out our take a way would cost 24.55 without the 10% off for collection but was charged 25.00 exactly, when I said we didn't add it up to this amount he said was I must have used old menu and he had put a new one in when got home checked it against new menu and no still been done over not only didn't get 10% off for collection was charged more .

For anyone living in Dronfield surrounding area's. tiffin can't be beaten. Fresh, clean, restaurant quality food.

Just had a takeaway delivered , although we are vegetarians the dishes were lovely , asked for extra garlic and wasn't disappointed . The portion sizes are bigger aswell . Would definitely order again
