We always get our takeaways from here. The food is always fresh, tasty and piping hot.

If you are going to order online, make sure you do it during opening hours. Apparently there has to be a member of staff on site to accept the order. There is no warning on their web site. Apart from that when I have eaten there the food and the service has been excellent.

Excellent meals all round and superb service. Really nice all round. We try to go every other week but this has turned into every week! Well done all at mint leaf!

The food we had was excellent. Couldn't fault the service in anyway. Made us Wellcome and never rushed us for orders. The atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend the Mint Leaf to all Indian food lovers. Five star plus. Thank you.

The food here is great but the service makes the place. Very friendly staff all around. Turon went out of his way make the evening very pleasant indeed. My first time here but I will be back soon.

Had a couple of delivery meals over the last few months from their own website! Menu is clear and easy to use. The food was spot on and flavoursome. Delivery was on time on every occasion, even at the weekend. Would recommend and can't wait to visit in person.

This unnecessary rudeness was extremely insulting and embarrassing. Despite being regular customers and asking nicely for some flexibility, the staff showed no care or concern for our situation. Their behavior completely ruined our night out. We were deeply disappointed and will not be returning.

We visited today and were very pleased with the food quality and service. The staff were very nice and friendly but the food was amazing. So tasty and fresh, we all enjoyed everything. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you.

I would absolutely avoid this place. There are far better places to eat and celebrate with family. Regrettably, we chose this restaurant last minute to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. I have been before several years back when it was ok. The food is now very mediocre, but what has driven to me write this review is the horrendous service and lack of hospitality. I got to the restaurant first with my children and husband. Gave our name for an already booked table, to which I was told by a waiter 'sit there', like I'm a dog, pointing to a single chair at the entrance and he walked off - what a lovely warm welcome to the restaurant. How rude. We were then almost immediately 'saved' by another waiter who must have been aware of our booking and taken straight to our table. From here onwards, all I can describe our experience as, is we were treated like an inconvenience, not paying customers. The first waiter impatiently took our orders and was talking to us in a very condescending tone - I should highlight, we are very polite and respectful people, we weren't behaving in any way that may have called for this treatment. My baby started grumbling at one point, to which the waiter took it upon himself to tell me I should take the baby outside! What on earth? Know your place. Again, complete rudeness. When our food arrived, they were literally yelling out the dish names at us, to the point it was incredibly anxiety provoking! Like they just wanted to hurry up and serve it and get it over with. We asked one waiter for a group photo to mark the occasion and he just looked at us so distastefully, muttered that we needed to wait and went and palmed the job off on a waitress, who turned out or be lovely - unlike the rest. There was nothing special about this experience. It was clear this was quite a big celebration for us - a huge 'Happy 70th Birthday' balloon on the table. The experience was nowhere near as special as we deserved it to be. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I truly hope this review is seen by staff and the public and that it puts people off going because I'm absolutely disgusted...and to think we paid over £200 quid for this!

Great dining experience, much more spacious than most indian restaurants. Good food, although the Murg Mali Mirch wasn't as hot as expected, the chicken was absolutely beautiful. Pickle tray was average as was the cheese nan. Doesn't seem to be quite as good as it used to be, which is a shame as I was the one who recommended it to our party.

Another superb meal to celebrate my wife's birthday. The Mint Leaf is by far the best Indian Restaurant around and never disappoints. The Ceylon Chicken is a particular favourite of mine. 5* every time.

Ordered takeaway on Sat night for four people, arrived late arrived cold ,no taste to curry ,chips hardly cooked ,£64 just wasted ,never again !!!!

Not so much working mens club as 3 star all inclusive resort restaurant. Sparse, basic and very bright. When I asked them why the mushrooms in a mushroom bhaji were tinned, the response was they don't have time to cut mushrooms.

We had a takeaway tonight and it was lovely. Tender chicken in my masala and the meat pathia was tasty the chilli nan has a nice kick of heat .

Thought we'd give this place a try again as we've not been for a long time, it would never have been given 5 stars in the past but it would also never have motivated me to leave a review about it either. The place is still nice and the staff are friendly but the food is just awful, with the exception of the rice everything just tastes of sugar and I cant stress enough just how sugary it all was, like having 3 spoons of sugar in tea kind of levels. everything we had was flavourless, sugary and bland, the chicken tikka masala was the worst of it, it should be roast chicken pieces in a tasty sauce instead we were served boiled chicken cubes an a tasteless sweet red sauce which wasn't even very warm, the rest of our food was of a similar quality including the naan breads. We had a pickle tray and poppadoms to start and this was about the only thing we liked, the portion sizes were also pretty naff so zero chance of any leftovers. There's better restaurants out there, less pricey and we wont be going back.

Good venue, not too busy on our visit, food was very nice served within a decent amount of time and good portion size.

Food was excellent, but food was very slow to come out and then we were rushed after the meal as we were told there was somebody waiting for the table,

First time ordering from Mint Leaf, order arrived within the 1 hour delivery quoted. Short of 1 Nan bread. Ordered chicken tikka biriani must say the worst I have had no taste won’t be ordering again. Rest of the food was ok but didn’t wow us at all quite disappointed as heard some good things about this restaurant. An expensive £50 meal which was at best ok

Tried to book a table for nearly 2 weeks over the phone (should have been an indicator) but no answer. Had to drive there to make a booking. Booked table for half hour after opening to be greeted with a soggy floor and a view of cardboard covered carpet with staff laying new cardboard. Was also told card machine wasn't working. We ordered light for starters which was just popudoms and pickle tray and was rather tasty. We had placed our main order obviously on arrival but had to wait almost 55 minutes for the main to arrive. The mains were very disappointing to say the least. My husband opted for chicken tikka which was big pieces of chicken breast (dry but big pieces) smothered in a vibrant red sauce ladened with sugar and no flavour and no hint of cream (the chef must have waved the pot of cream fully sealed over the plate before returning back to the fridge due to cut backs), and I opted for the meat rogan josh which was some form of what can only be described as dry, pre chewed meat with no flavour whatsoever ever covered with some basic sauce no where near representing a rogan josh sauce. Neither meats had been cooked in the sauce it was as if they were thawed out and then last minute mixed in the sauce (no hint of fat in there which is great if you're on slimming world but not what you'd expect from an authentic restaurant cooking an authentic dish). The mushroom rice was barely luke warm and we did have to ask for it to be replaced with just plain boiled rice. The replacement was brought out in 60 seconds but was dry as if been microwaved from the day before and they'd removed all water before cooking. Garlic naan was more like a homemade pizza base that had had a clove of garlic rubbed over the top for flavour. My husband ate his despite the sugar load but then again he will eat anything especially if there's a price tag. I had 1 piece of meat with 3 spoons of sauce smushed into it to make it palatable and still left most of that and certainly didn't eat any more. I ate an eighth of the naan bread as I was hungry but the meat curry put me off and couldn't face looking at what should have been a delectable meal but was worse than a basics ready meal. The table wine (granache) was lovely though, however due to the time waiting for the main course, we nearly had to order a 2nd bottle. We were not asked if our meal was OK at any point and when this was brought up when they came to clear the table (my meal was stacked up barely touched) for over 10 minutes after we'd "finished"), we were told it is because it was Valentine's day and they were busy. The restaurant was approximately an eighth full while we were there for the most part and we were watching staff stood about or laying cardboard to cover whatever had caused the very wet carpet (wish id taken photos). Their take away service seemed top priority and was busy. One customer (when I enquired with him as he arrived to collect his order) said he'd rung for his order only 15 minutes before he turned up to collect (and we waited 55 minutes for our main in the restaurant!). We reluctantly complained as I felt the almost £80 cost was way too much for the amount my husband ate and the amount I left because couldn't eat. The supervisor or managed asked what I wanted him to do for me because, as he said, "the customer is always right". I made it clear I wasn't looking for a free meal but needed to let him know how awful it was. I was told repeatedly "the customer is always right" which I found very patronising as I was trying to state facts and not blag a free meal (although technically it would be not paying for what I didn't eat, so make of that what you will). Came home and toast. Hot toast with real butter within 4 minutes of ordering from our kitchen. Have wanted to come here for a long while and it was a much awaited meal out for us, but unfortunately won't be revisited and now I need to book somewhere else to scratch the need and want of proper curry.

From start to finish we had a lovely experience in Mint Leaf. The food was incredible and quick service! The staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t fault a thing! Wonderful place to visit ☺️

I'd just like to say the food here is fantastic, one of the best I've tried. The service is fairly good, the waiting staff are brilliant. The gent behind the bar wasn't very helpful and had a bad attitude and there was bald gent who appeared to be in charge who needs to brush up on his customer service skills. Other than that a fantastic place!

Having ordered a takeaway from mint leaf dronfield on the 27/12/2023 at approximately 1900 hrs through there app.A message came back saying it will take a little longer to prepare your order which was fair enough. But I did not expect nearly 2hrs later having had to phone mint leaf and ask where our takeaway was the guy on the other end of the phone said it would be another 10 minutes with no apologies. When the meal arrived it was luke warm and the chips were soggy not really acceptable. Having ordered online before I can't understand why it takes so long to get food delivered when i live in dronfield where the restaurant is located if they would give you a estimated time when ordering you can make that choice to go ahead or not. Instead of taking your money regardless...

New Years Eve it's was very business but the food was amazing and the staff did a great job with all the pressure thank you all

Excellent food and excellent service, couldn't fault anything. I went with three ex workmates and we all agreed the food was delicious. Between us we had poppadoms and Pickles. Mixed starters, chicken tandoori and onion bhajis Followed by Chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb shank. Chicken Bakti and another chicken curry I couldn't remember the name. The food was all tasty and everyone loved it.

Waiter was more interested in my daughter than serving meal asking intermediate questions and following her to rest room asking for her phone number, only 13 years old. Spoiled our evening.

Fabulous curry restaurant, the staff are all very friendly and polite. The food is amazing whatever we order we are never disappointed! The onion bhajis are the absolute best👌 pickle trays and popperdoms are always very fresh. Highly recommend 👌

Ordered a takeaway, this is officially the worse Indian I've ever had. And I've worked in several. Where do I start it arrived late, I contacted the restaurant 3 times to ask where my order was I was fobbed off continuously. The food arrived, on reflection I wish it hadn't bothered ,it certainly wasn't worth it. the only words I can think of is dreadful beyond dreadful. It was stone cold. One of the dishes I ordered was unrecognisable. Absolutely with out a shadow of a doubt NEVER AGAIN.🤢

Service was a little slow, the food was really good though! Toilets a little tired, however they are pretty clean for their age!

Hi, the Dronfield food omnibus has had contacts regarding difficulties with the Dronfield eye vouchers ! One word SHOCKING ! Sort the attitude in service out , less hostility more grace and decorum not that hard is it LADS! Numerous Dronfield food lovers will now be utilising the vouchers in OUR cherished Dronfield eye and in GOOD order will be descending on your premises to get to the bottom of the very poor behaviour of members of staff. We hope in good spirits you will cooperate with us !

Me and a group of my compatriots recently visited this establishment for the first time after a Dronfield native friend of mine received a £20 discount voucher in the Dronfield Eye. We all agreed the food was excellent and the ambiance was nice but once the time came to pay our bill and leave my friend presented his voucher and the staff said it was invalid because we didn’t order the correct items. I was appalled, nowhere in the voucher does it specify any such terms for the discount, and we had spent over £90 collectively. The staff refused to give us our rightful discount and became very confrontational with us when we showed them the voucher. Ultimately we were left with no choice but to reluctantly pay our full undiscounted bill. While the food and ambiance was nice, I am ultimately disappointed with the poor service and the piss take voucher. I have been in contact with the financial ombudsman to discuss the next steps in the reclamation of our fair and rightful £20. Furthermore, one of my dining companions has reached out to the Dronfield Eye for comment, they have yet to do so. It is fair to say, me and my friends shall not be returning to this establishment until this situation is resolved.

Great food and friendly service

Not good enough. Took half an hour just to get poppadoms. Friends had meat startere which were 3-4 tiny pieces and some yellow salad.My mixed grill was 50 percent onion.

I ordered a madras and the chicken was really tender, nice chunky pieces and plenty of them too. Very reasonable price too, I really enjoyed it.

Another fabulous visit. Food excellent again...and wonderful service. Highly recommend.

Let down by the staff. Suggest a trip to Kashmiri Aroma at Woodseats or the Viraaj to learn how to be a good Maitra d. The food was good not great despite a fantastic pickle tray, but thats irelevant as we won't revisit.

Great food with no nonsense service.

Staff totally disinterested. It was supposed to be an occasion for us. We were shoved it a table with very poor lighting, I could not read the menu clearly. After complaining we were moved. Not having this type of food before l asked the waiter to explain some of the dishes. He said he had only started that evening. The whole event was a washout.

This is a really nice place to get food from, only ever had takeaway but it’s always delivered pretty quick and is always hot and tasty, definitely the best Indian around this area. Would highly recommend!

Without a shadow of doubt, the finest Indian food you'll find for miles around. Great food, friendly staff, and always a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We visit regularly and go home extremely happy (and full) every time. Keep up the great work guys!

Decent food, pretty good service, very crowded.

Service very slow, prawn puree just tasted like icing sugar with dessicated coconut and a few prawns in, chicken korma too spicy for a korma and my friend's chicken pasanda did not look or taste like it should, it was bright red like a chicken tikka masala. The only good thing was the naan bread. Won't be going there again!

Absolutely terrible. Waited over 1 hot and 39 minutes with only a popadom and pickle tray being brought out. No apology. No explanation. Shocking service. Plenty of takeaways leaving the kitchen… but no restaurant orders. What is that about?? Left without a meal, paying for the popadoms A ruined night. Will never return.

I came out for my 50th birthday party with my wife my mum & dad and my brother and the food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was really amazing and pleasant and we will be back

10 friends to celebrate a Birthday, all enjoyed our meal. Until we were told we only had the Table for 2hours, we hadn't had the table 1& half hours. They wanted to clear everything away. We won't be back!!!!! Absolutely gutted.

Excellent food, staff friendly but not totally on ball, 17 people two jugs of water no glasses, asked for glasses for water brought two?? Bottled beer on pricy side but all places piling it on.

Visited Mint Leaf tonight been a few times never been disappointed but tonight was exceptional with staff couldn’t do enough for you excellent food quick hot and fantastic cannot wait to return Well done Mint leaf to you and all your staff best Indian Restaurant for miles.

I visited this restaurant last night and don’t normally do reviews but felt so disappointed by the quality of the food.I ordered the Goan duck sizzler for starters which had 5 tiny pieces of duck which was dry and not freshly cooked.My Main was recommended by the waiter although not on the menu to which he called it a North Indian curry.When it was bought out it was the same as my girlfriends Dopiaza apart from 3tiny chilli bits.Her Dopiaza had large chunks of onion and both had a gunk like texture to the sauce.I must say I’ve had better curry sauces out of Aldi and they only cost a £1.The meat was dry and in places discoloured and chewy.I ordered a large Diet Coke and it was flat and I returned it and was given a small bottle of Diet Coke yet was still charged for the large.Not even the Nan bread was up to scratch it had a elastic texture.The whole meal cost£44.95 for 2mains,2 staters,1rice,1nan and I was charged extra for my so called North Indian curry although it was identical to the Dopiaza and two drinks.Very disappointed

Took over an hour to deliver to the same village (dronfield) the food was cold and the chicken was crunchy and had a strange smell to it. Very disappointed to have paid 27 pounds for this.

Called in with a friend for a bite to eat rather than at the hotel. The place was empty but for one table. The member of staff seemed disinterested which made us both decide we'd just have the main and not stay longer than necessary. Food was ok
