The food was amazing and the portions quite big. There are plenty of options to choose from. The options were without exeptions vegetarian. The food arrived quickly and the staff was friendly.

Always enjoy the food here. Place doesn't look much from walking in but the food is always spot on and the price is very fair for what you get. Open kitchen too so you can see the cooking in action.

I was a regular at The Day of the Raj for Over 25 Years and I'm sad to see it gone. It has been replaced with another Restaurant now but that does not serve Indian food.
Food no taste 54 pound better off going to asda for a curry .had two chicken malsa four starters chips and poppadoms and nan bread the food had no taste and not a lot of it .Will defo not return .had
Guess it was a victim of the pandemic,but in any case Cafe Le Raj is permanently closed.
Plenty more Injuns in Upminster but this was definitely one of ,if not the, favourite.
