Came with a party of 27 and the food and service was outstanding would recommend 100% prices are very reasonable too staff also very friendly

The food, service and atmosphere was ten out of ten, thanks to everyone especially Hamza out waiter. Will definitely be returning.

Our first visit to Mahal but it won’t be our last. Between the 4 of us we had a variety of dishes and everyone said how nice the food was. The service was excellent, a very friendly team and when we got the bill there were no nasty surprises it was fine-can’t wait to go back.

This restaurant has been a fond favourite of mine from the day it opened its doors now. I honestly cannot fault it, I've been countless times and never had a bad experience, it never fails to blow me away! The service, staff, food and drinks are always unbeatable! I've never tasted lamb chops like it, amazing!!! I will be back soon, keep up the good work 👏 🙌

This is restaurant wonderful! A party of 21 people served amazing hot flavourful food! 10/10! Amazing! Even the children’s dishes were lovely! Children loved it! The whole atmosphere was a pleasure to be in! Will be definitely be coming back!

We were initially overcharged when placing an order. After discussing the matter with the manager, he assured us that the overcharge would be rectified on our next order. When we attempted to place our next order and informed the staff about the £11 overcharge that needed to be adjusted, we requested them to confirm with the manager. While listening to their conversation, we overheard the manager stating that he couldn't recall the overcharged transaction. Frustrated by the lack of resolution and the manager's apparent forgetfulness, I felt compelled to share our experience. Prior to this, I had even left positive reviews in a local group when we were overcharged. However, instead of addressing the issue privately, the manager, Shuhel Ali, chose to publicly tag me in the group, claiming he couldn't message me directly. This was not true, as he later messaged me privately when he realised the negative response to his public post. This led to further clarification posts on my part, wasting more of my time. A more professional approach from the manager would have been to message me directly, resolve the issue, and subsequently, I would have retracted my review and posted about the resolution. Unfortunately, the manager opted for a sarcastic and rude public response. This incident doesn't reflect well on the establishment. I advise others to verify prices and, if promised a refund for a mistake, insist on receiving it at the time of the error. As you can see it was definitely Mahal Stalybridge we rang.

Went with family on Sunday, not been since new ownership but wanted to try for a while. A little disorganised at 1st, didn't seem to know we had a booked. Once seated the staff were very helpful and attentive. We ordered a tandoori mixed starter to share and 2 different curry's, both very nice and good portions.

First time we’ve been to this restaurant tonight and food was Great!! Presented really well and everything we ordered was lovely!! Will definitely return

It's the first time I've visited this restaurant and my initial thoughts are it's a very nice friendly place to eat. The staff are fantastic, therefore I must mention both Rahul and Noah. What great service they provided. The food was great and wholesome, plus the menu was full of specialities. My only advice would be on the presentation which could be improved, however this should not distract anyone from enjoying a meal here. Well done to all of the staff 10/10...

Our first visit to Mahal. Loved the newly and well refurbished restaurant but more than that the food was excellent, service spot on and friendly wait staff who were then when you needed them. We will be going again.
