The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Attended private function. The room smelled a bit foosty. The bar staff had no idea! Didn't pay the same price for a round. £3 for a can of coke and the 'Prosecco' was rank.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Essence on Friday night. Amin and his team went above and beyond to ensure we all had a great time. Although it was a very busy night in the restaurant (with lots of large parties), everyone at our table was served promptly and had delicious food (tweaked to our liking) that was beautifully cooked with attractive presentation. Thank you for a great night. We will be back.

I’ve tried many Indian restaurants, but this one stands out. Delicious, great food with beautiful presentation. The environment is soothing with soft music and lights. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great experience at an even better price.

food was very late and even after we contacted restaurant we were given later delivery times which were still very late.we will not be using this restaurant again even when food did arrive most of it was cold.

Some confusion caused by review of Stephen B of 3rd March but it was plain when I came by yesterday 17.10 .19 it was all locked, dark and plainly had not reopened or showing any signs of doing so.

First time at this restaurant tonight with hubby and 2 friends, was pleasantly surprised. Service 1st class and so polite, food so tasty and lovely and fresh. Even went out their way to cook hubby gluten free onion bhajee which made his day. Thank you so much Ramadan for making it an enjoyable evening for us.

Popped in for a take away, heard food was great. And it was, full of flavour and chicken pieces in the curry were cooked perfectly and plenty of it. Would highly recommend, and certainly would come here to dine in the restaurant, looked a lovely set up. Will eat from here again soon!

I'd say this is the worst takeaway I've ever had. the chicken was slimy and I was concerned eating it. the sauce was essentially canned tomato soup, and tasted like it. however, delivery was prompt and polite.

Very nice food but really disappointing deliver service. Forgotten items ruin the experience. How can a curry place forget the poppadoms?

I had a fantastic experience at Star Tandoori! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Pakistani flavors and perfectly spiced. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I’ll be coming back for sure!
