Asha's Tandoori in Denbighshire

Brilliant little Indian restaurant. We were in Rhyl for a short break and found this gem on Google. The reviews said it was good and they were not wrong. The service was pleasant, friendly, and quick. The food was awesome, and the price was very reasonable. If you like curries and you're here in Rhyl, you will not go wrong if you dine here.

Quality would have been fine if it was even just warm. Over 2hrs for delivery, awful

Highlight of my week eating here 😅! These guys always look after me! Highly recommend their Tikka masala! It’s unlike any other I’ve ever tasted. Fresh Restaurant quality food in a take away container absolutely unbelievable ❤️.

Most importantly the food from Asha's was delicious and hot. Sadly it took far too long to be delivered. We ordered at 16.55 on a Saturday and finally got our food at 18.30! We would recommend Asha's but make sure you order way ahead of eating.

Worse Indian takeaway I've ever had and had to wait over 2 hours for it to arrive even though rang twice to ask where it was and when it finally arrived it was cold and tasted dreadful even the poppadoms were soft WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN

Food is lovely when you get it, ordered a meal tonight at 6pm and said 45 min delivery online, still waiting 2 hours later, not a happy customer, we are local so need to find another venue for our out of season deliveries, any recommendations will be appreciated

Waited over 2 hours for meal and we rang them twice and was reassured it was on way When it finally arrived it was cold and food tasted disgusting even the poppadoms were soft we will NEVER go there again

Food was excellent quality but waited 1hr 50 for delivery which was disappointing

Highly recommended lovely food definitely the best in Rhyl and good prices too, the owners and staff are all polite and friendly not a very big place so gets filled quick ideal for a meal for 2 or a family get together and they are quite happy to rearrange tables so you can all sit together they also do takeaway and delivery

Popadoms were missed off the order, even though paid for

Fabulous food from here. Peshwaari naan bread, Chicken tikka massalla. Will deffo order from Ashas again.

These guys really are the absolute best around. I don’t actually think I could go anywhere else for a curry. The Tikka Massala is one of a kind….very highly recommended. Thanks again guys, see you next week! ❤️

Best Indian take away in North wales. even my mother only eats from this Indian takeaway now

I usually order this dish in my hometown so decided to try while away and it was spot on, very well made, lovely food.

Myself and Chloe always use Asha’s for our Indian takeaways. I recently visited with friends and the food was just as good as ever. I would recommend Asha’s for anyone visiting or living in the area. Great staff and great food.

Just had another really good delivery meal. Starter and a jalfrezi curry. Curry was spot on. Will definitely use again. Best in Rhyl.

Usually enjoy curry from Asha’s! It has been my go to place for a curry for years but tonight it was not up to the usually standard, had to take the chicken out of all 3 curries as it had a horrible texture think it was undercooked so ended up with curry sauce and rice!

New to area and left notes saying spend approx £200/month (not including sit ins) This is 3rd Indian tried in 2 weeks and was the better curry I've had so far - purposely choose massala dish as know not traditional but same as last one - overloaded with sugar that drowned the extra spice I called up aad asked for - always measure by bhajees and bread - both rock hard (not good) - sorry but the few thousand pounds over year will end up somewhere different - if only the notes were read properly

Not enough side salad for our starters. And also completely forgot. All of the mint yoghurt for our starters. Also the poppadoms were stale.

Don't order more than two meals here as they can't get it right after 3 attempts on a large order

Not recommended at all. Never ever had masala before that was so sweet, tasted more like korma just look red.mayby other dishes are better but was very disappointed with my order as was looking forward for nice curry.

No issues with ordering, driver or portion sizes. The food just wasn’t nice. Everything tasted strange in comparison to most indian takeaways around. Shame

Disappointed once again been coming here as a regular for several years and this place seems to have gone down in quality, Previous order was atrocious and this order might be even worse, Balti sound tasted bland and keema inside funny tasting, Massala was only a half portion, Tommy wrap had a weird taste and the chicken was very rubbery and naan bread was so burnt it would make Guy Forx rejoice smelt like a bomb fire, Won't be eating here anymore and will take my business elsewhere.

I would have given a 5 star fir quality but the butterfly king prawn was awful and paid a fiver everything else was beautiful done but shame about the King prawn

What is going on guys? This is our regular but today was not impressed at all, Wrong nanbread and other bread burnt, Lamb pathia way too sweet seek kebab tasted different to usual, Tommy wraps bread was thin and not cooked properly and ice cream was melted and food was 30 minutes late, Been eating here regularly for about 3 years and this is the first time I feel let down.

28/04 Ordered on-line which is easy, eta 19.36pm arrived after 8 but was so worth the wait, absolutely banging food 👍 Will definitely be ordering again

food was almost 3 hours wait! ordered at 18.30 still wasn't delivered by 21.15 was told at 19.45 would be 10 to 15mins understand they were busy but would rather have just been refunded and ordered from elsewhere great food but not worth the wait. Will make me rethink ordering in the future

Was 30 mins late I rang there phone 16 times no answer the site was saying it was delivered but wasn't, in the end my sister went there to see what was happening the guy threw her my bag n said take it she said u should pay back delivery fee food gd

When we had our takeaway they were understaffed and we had a 45 min wait but the food was excellent and worth the wait

Terrible and an utter waste of money. We came in to collect our order at 18.15, however they said the chef was running late and that they would deliver. We said this was fine and we were willing to wait at home. Around 45 minutes later, our order was delivered. I don't like leaving bad reviews however I'm furious at how this establishment is allowed to operate. We ordered a Chicken Madras and Chicken Tikka Massala. Unfortunately the dishes were not fresh at all. The chicken seemed to be dehydrated and then rehydrated, it was shockingly dry, tough and yellow. We also got a Saag Aloo, which was nauseatingly mushy. The mint yogurt was watery. Everything was inedible, and had to go in the bin. Not sure what possessed me to order from this restaurant. Would give them zero stars if I could, never ordering from here again.

We ordered a chicken tikka Rogan josh, chicken tikka kashmere masala, vegetable rice, pilau rice, garlic cheese naan and a keema cheese naan. On the telephone we asked how long delivery will be? We were told 30 mins!!! Amazing service!!!! Bang on 30 mins we had a order! 👍👍👍 It only got better!!! Both meals were lovely and tasty!!!! We complimented Ashas' continuously throughout the meal stating how nice it was!!! The garlic cheese and keema cheese naans were exceptional! 👍👍👍 I've had other kind of cheese naans from competing Indian takeaways and they don't come close! I can honestly state you can taste cheese! 🧀 Well done Asha's Indian a thoroughly enjoyed meal! We will definitely be ordering from you again! 😋😋😋😋😋

We were in Wales for a funeral last week and just by chance choose this lovely resturant.As from Kent and London,and use lots of Indian restaurants here.find it hard to beat ASHA's in Rhyl.super food.Friendly waiter.full mark to this great find.

food was lovely and full of flavour, only disappointment was it was almost an hour late and I had to go out and didn't get to enjoy the food as much as I'd liked and woukd have if it cone within the time stated

for the price it was disgusting wasn't happy at all, didn't taste how it should have but it the first time going there.

Poppadoms fine, fried rice fine, Peshawri Naan beautiful. The two curries had a great consistencey (none of your curry foam mush here). However the mixed kebab was far too salty (though the seekh kebab was nice). It was hard to taste the spices in the Chicken Tikka Khan due to the hight level of salt. The Lamb Rogan Josh wasn't quite as salty and was the best of the 2 curries. Overall, though, much too much salt here. Not healthy at all. Disappointing from that regard.

Food arrived almost to the minute. Chinese is my normal choice of takeaway, How ever we decided on something different this evening. Omg the food was incredible. The sauce was like nothing else I've eaten, rice was delicious. Fantastic food and will definitely be ordering again... Complements to a cracking establishment

Food is high standard, tasty in every bit. Food was piping hot when it arrived. Forgot my bottle of drink to start with but was sorted quickly by the delivery driver who was really friendly and helpful. Would order again and recommend to anyone.

Food was 15 minutes late, had me worried it wouldn’t arrive, but the delivery driver was super nice and there was a free pot of mango sauce in the bag so can’t really whinge. Food was piping hot when it arrived. Poppadoms did taste a bit stale and some bits of chicken were a bit dried out, but overall some nice and tasty food.

Great curry, korma just as you'd expect. Delivered 7mins early which I was very pleased with. Really enjoyed it, just shame that it's quite pricey and price of korma doesn't include the rice so quite expensive which is a real shame.

Horrible tasteless heat Vegetarian Balti Curry consists of chunks of potato and a few peas Fried tasteless rice Chewy Nann bread Fire hot chewy Onion Bahji Horrible..a complete waste of money

When I ordered said would be delivered 35-45mins. Thought great. 1hour 45mins it took to be delivered. And didn’t even order a lot. Food was nice when it finally arrived, but didn’t feel like eating at 9.15pm when ordered at 7.30!!

Thursday evening in Asha’s, really nice food. Myself and my husband walked in and the smell was amazing! We were greeted by the waiter who welcomed us in and sat us down at a table. We chose the meal for two and a J20 for me. My husband took his own lager as you can take your own drinks. The menu was spotlessly clean. We decided to order the set meal for two. Nice fresh, warm poppadoms to start, with a choice of about six dips served in spotless silver bowls. The starters was a mixed starter consisting of a lovely big fresh homemade onion bhaji, a perfectly cooked tender piece of chicken tandoori breast, lamb tikka, salad and lemon wedge, it was all so fresh. For the main course we opted for the lamb Jalfrezi and chicken passanda, pilau rice and a garlic and coriander naan. Never tried passanda before and it was lovely and creamy with a mild sweet taste, really nice, lamb Jalfrezi was tasty too. The naan bread was perfectly done with plenty of fresh coriander and garlic, nice and crispy, fresh from the oven. We tried a scoop each of the Kulfi ice cream, original and mango, so nice. We will definitely be visiting again as we weren’t rushed at all here and it was a lovely relaxing evening with first class food. Respect to all of the team at Ashas in Rhyl.

Food was luke warm when arrived... usually good from here, and the rice was cold..
