When we had our takeaway they were understaffed and we had a 45 min wait but the food was excellent and worth the wait

Disappointed as ordered for delivery at 7.15pm but it arrived one hour too early. Also ordered a prawn and mushroom korma and received something totally different

We ordered a chicken tikka Rogan josh, chicken tikka kashmere masala, vegetable rice, pilau rice, garlic cheese naan and a keema cheese naan. On the telephone we asked how long delivery will be? We were told 30 mins!!! Amazing service!!!! Bang on 30 mins we had a order! 👍👍👍 It only got better!!! Both meals were lovely and tasty!!!! We complimented Ashas' continuously throughout the meal stating how nice it was!!! The garlic cheese and keema cheese naans were exceptional! 👍👍👍 I've had other kind of cheese naans from competing Indian takeaways and they don't come close! I can honestly state you can taste cheese! 🧀 Well done Asha's Indian a thoroughly enjoyed meal! We will definitely be ordering from you again! 😋😋😋😋😋

We were in Wales for a funeral last week and just by chance choose this lovely resturant.As from Kent and London,and use lots of Indian restaurants here.find it hard to beat ASHA's in Rhyl.super food.Friendly waiter.full mark to this great find.

Food arrived almost to the minute. Chinese is my normal choice of takeaway, How ever we decided on something different this evening. Omg the food was incredible. Thursday evening in Asha’s, really nice food. Myself and my husband walked in and the smell was amazing! We were greeted by the waiter who welcomed us in and sat us down at a table. We chose the meal for two and a J20 for me. My husband took his own lager as you can take your own drinks. The menu was spotlessly clean. We decided to order the set meal for two. Nice fresh, warm poppadoms to start, with a choice of about six dips served in spotless silver bowls. The starters was a mixed starter consisting of a lovely big fresh homemade onion bhaji, a perfectly cooked tender piece of chicken tandoori breast, lamb tikka, salad and lemon wedge, it was all so fresh. For the main course we opted for the lamb Jalfrezi and chicken passanda, pilau rice and a garlic and coriander naan. Never tried passanda before and it was lovely and creamy with a mild sweet taste, really nice, lamb Jalfrezi was tasty too. The naan bread was perfectly done with plenty of fresh coriander and garlic, nice and crispy, fresh from the oven. We tried a scoop each of the Kulfi ice cream, original and mango, so nice. We will definitely be visiting again as we weren’t rushed at all here and it was a lovely relaxing evening with first class food. Respect to all of the team at Ashas in Rhyl.

Dreadful food. Bland. Ordered 2 different meals an they were they were the same sauce. Butterfly King prawns were just just frozen super market breaded prawns. The chutneys were poor quality. Would avoid at all costs

Once more went in to Asha,not too busy but take ou was busy we ordered our meals,I ordered chilli chicken jalfrezi,hot ohh yes with lots of green chilli,I enjoyed it may be too hot for some,this restaurant does not serve alcohol but you can bring your own,I am never disappointed at Ashasand would recommend

Fantastic food and the best nan breads in rhyl.. (chilly cheese will blow your head off) ..all with loads of cheese on them (unlike many other places that allways skimp on the cheese.. the decorating is a bit on the tired side , but food is fantastic especially ashas tandory mixed grill which amazing

I had a meal for one delivered. Delivery driver was very polite and kind. I left a note to say I had covid. Delivery driver asked how I was and wished me a speedy recovery. That was really nice after limited communication over the past few days. Food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. 5 stars. Thank you.

Absolutely awful, according to the website the restaurant was supposed to be open at17:00 We got there about 18:40, the door was locked, we knocked on the door, there was a guy inside, didn’t respond,knocked again and no response. Whilst we were there a gentleman arrived and said he had been ringing the restaurant but no answer, so he came to check and again the guy inside didn’t bother, they should be shameful and probably shut down the restaurant. I recommend no one should ever go to or order food from Asha Indian restaurant in Rhyl…….

Have had a few meals delivered from and the food is fantastic. Only thing I can fault is that they do regularly forget items you've ordered they do try to rectify this but as I live 5 miles away the meal would of gone cold by the time they brought the rice... so I get extras on the next order to make up for the mistakes.... Will defo be ordering again but will be asking to double check the order before it leaves their premises..

I have been to many Indian restaurants including Michelin star restaurants. I am originally from London, so the bar is set high. My experience here from eating in at the restaurant is exceptional. The service is very friendly and casual and the prices are great. The samosas here are really good, very close to authentic. The butter chicken is something else, one of the best I have tried and the naans are great too. I have also requested the curry to be Vindaloo hot and they delivered, it was fantastic (although I do prefer it to be spicier). I do think the decor of the restaurant needs an update, but other than that, the food is quality in my opinion. Very good restaurant based in Rhyl.

First and last time ordering from here £100 take away order. Whilst I understand the circumstances of why the order came in two separate deliveries 35 minutes apart . The food was awful . Korma sauce tasted out of a jar . The chicken tika masala was awful I am really disappointed by the taste of the food a huge disappointment. The prices were ridiculous too. I won't be using this place again

Had the worst dansak curry ever. It tasted like spicy tomato soup. Rice was ok.

Absolutely disgusting 🤮 ordered 52 pounds worth of food wouldn't even feed it to the dog . All the meat was chewy too vinegary need closing down shouldn't be allowed to sell food like that . There was not a chance I was letting my child eat the meal . Five meals and none of us eat even two mouthfuls and wouldn't even offer a refund . One word disgusting 🤮

Slight adjustment to food menu hot rating would help mine was fine but wife likes a little bit hotter a bit more meat in it . More sauce than meat need to look at that other than that very nice.

Visited on my own as away on business. The restaurant has seen better days with upholstery a bit stained and tired. A few locals in on a Wednesday eve who took their own alcohol. The restaurant seemed steady with take away orders. I ordered a couple of popadoms with pickles and onion bhaji for starter - all decent. I always order Chicken Dhansak as it’s a dish made different depending on the restaurant- and this was different again. I’m used to having a few lentils in the sauce but this was completely blended - like baby food. Not everyone would like it to be fair, but the taste was good if very rich and quite sweet. Not much chicken in the sauce but that’s a sign of the times. I had it with a peshwari nan which seemed very fresh straight out the oven. Overall I enjoyed my meal and the chap serving was working hard doing a good job.

Went to this restaurant on 1/5/23 basic seating arrangement old styles . Lovely food paid the bill and left without asking for a receipt overcharged me by £9 must have thought we were holiday makers as in May Day that’s what I would think . Will go again but will ask for and check the receipt before I pay .

Lovely food and service you have to take you own alcohol and maybe the a bit of finishing touch to the place would make it 5stars for atmosphere

Went here last night of a recommendation of a local and can I say what a great tip of ashas is a real jewel in rhyls crown for great authentic Indian food the starters were bang on the onion bhajis had a lovely crunch to them just the way I like them ashas mixed grill was absolutely 💯 pukka the flavours in the food was amazing .for a restaurant it was very reasonably priced soft drinks were £1 each for real coca cola j20 £2 and If you like alcohol you can bring your own too the food prices were pretty much wat u pay in takeaways which is really good for a restaurant next time I go to Wales I will definitely be returning to ashas for my authentic Indian fix .asha thank you for a excellent time food bang on service was bang on and my compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳 see you

Had a takeaway delivered tonight ,it was just delicious! The portions were enough for 2 and we couldn't eat it all. We had chicken korma ,chicken tikka masala,peshawar nahn,rice,dips and poppadoms. I can honestly say it was the nicest Indian meal I have ever tasted. Delivery was quick and delivery man and lady were lovely. I will definitely buy from here again and would highly recommend.

This restuarent is a regular Monday night for us ,a small place but friendly,tonight a chicken tikka pathia with keema rice and a chicken tikka masala and boiled rice,both good plus poppadoms £33,if you are in Rhyl would recommend

We ordered set menu for 2. Nice poppadom and pickles, lovely chicken and lamb starter, awful main with Biryani and Balti almost identical 90% tomato puree with burnt rice and biscuit texture naan tasting like it was from a packet and overheated. Also note the service was like a comedy movie - same person answering the phone, taking table orders (while answering the phone), clearing tables, putting dishes away, regularly disappearing to go outside for delivery drivers or into the kitchen area (perhaps they were also doing the cooking - could explain why they were abrupt when we suggested to have a word with the chef about tomato soup curry). When we said it was the worst curry we have experienced, the response was that nobody else has ever complained - looking at feedback from previous customers, it looks like many have had the same complaint over tomato soup in place of curry! We have eaten at Asha's a number of times up to 2021 - we can no longer recommend the restaurant and will go elsewhere next time when in Rhyl for a curry. 4* for starter, 0* for main.

We have eaten here a few times over the years but our latest meal was awful. Its clear they are more geared up for takeaways. We ordered the set menu. I have given 1 star as the starter was tasty but then it went downhill. I ordered chicken biriyani and my husband ordered a veg balti. The chicken was burnt and the biriyani was tasteless. The accompanying veg curry I couldn't eat as it was overpowered by tomato (was actually red in colour!) My husbands veg balti was the exact same curry, looked identical and tasted identical. We left both. To top ot off, never have I had a naan bread that was crunchy and flat. I hate giving bad reviews but when we told the waiter when we paid he was not at all apologetic and said no-one else has complained. Maybe he needs to read all the reviews I saw on Google after we left. Wish we had before we wasted money. Maybe we are spoilt by some amazing Indian restaurants near where we live, the chef at Ashas could learn a lot from them.

How this place is even at 4.3 stars (at time of writing this) is unbelievable. Food was at best basic. Everything tasted the same, the curry, the biryani sauce and the chicken chatt used all the same sauce. God knows why the chicken chatt had that much sauce, but that was not a chicken chatt, basically got served a bog standard chicken curry on a fried flatbread. Despite the pictures posted here, we only ordered here because of the reviews. Either the chef couldn't be bothered to make something different, or thats the level of quality of what they serve. Any person of Indian/Bangladesh/Pakistan origin would be ashamed that this is called Indian food. Unfortunately I'm not from around here, so I cannot recommend any Indian restaurant or takeaways based in North Wales for people to try. But what I can definitely recommend (and this is my own personal opinion) is that you stay away from this place if you want a decent curry.

Ordered from Deliveroo, late delivery but got some free popadoms and chutneys. Food was really nice and still steaming hot when it arrived. Will be ordering again ! :)

Ordered a delivery on Saturday 8th October totalling £40, driver turned up with somebody else’s order twice and still did not receive our order ! Restaurant telling me to claim refund from Deliveroo and Deliveroo trying to claim from Restaurant ! Had to spend more money on different takeaway ! Out of pocket and still waiting for my money back

Had really nice chicken madras and lamb balti curry, there was no oil floating on top like you get from some curry places

Disappointing, first time using Asha;s and will be the last.. Bhajis were ok, nothing special but perfectly acceptable. Half a Tandoori chicken was actually 2 legs which were dry and overcooked. The medium curry sauces seemed to be just some tinned chopped tomato pureed with a bit of chilli added. This was also supposed to come with rice and salad but didn't. Chicken Jalfrezi was once again an homage to tinned tomato with the sauce neither delicate or hot with an absence of green peppers and coriander. Maybe the "chefs" need to read what is on the menu and then perhaps the ingredients would be correct. Also realised that they have charged £3 more than the price as shown on their "website" menu.

The worst madras and samba I have ever had. Both curries tasted the exact same (not nice at all taste i might add) and were like soup. 5 pieces of meat in each. Ordered the "special" which includes 2 starters, choice of main dishes and either rice, chips or nan which was meant to be 24.99 and we ordered a second Nan bread separately, total came to 32.50? Sorry but a nan bread is not £7.00 guy delivering it said its not his problem and drove off. My next visit to towyn will not include this place. Extremely poor food and is happy to rip people off. If you want spicy food. Please the love of God find somewhere else.

Found food very salty and not much meat per portion.

Had a delivery last night, ordered the set menu for 23.95 and extra nan bread. When the foor food come we got charged £32 the man said we was looking at an old menu. We was looking at the website. Rip off!! These prices should be updated. Poppadoms were stale, mixed started nice. Chicken madras tastes like hot tomato soup. Very watery and not a lot of chicken tikka in it. I am a regular curry eater. I would not reccomend.

Absolutely superb meal, lamb and chicken cooked beautifully. Keema garlic nan was the best I've had, poppadums crispy and fresh. Delivered to the Ffrith Caravan Site. Would recommend 100%

The sauce for the curry wasn’t that bad but made in edible by the chicken. Stringy on the outside wet in the middle, makes you want to heave the minute you bite it and then that’s it meal over. Yet another crap place to visit. But do they care? do they sh….

Overcharged and underwhelmed. Had a few things from here on Thursday night and it's a massive disappointment, the mixed grill had no Lang at all. The dhal was bland and watery, the rice came in lumps and only later did I realise they had overcharged me by about &10. Avoid.

Just ordered chicken tikka starter which was really spicy mouth was on fire also then had chicken tikka masala as normally this is a sweet sauce again very spicey only 6 pieces of chicken in the curry itself chips were cold and garlic Nan breads were like rubber so a meal that cost £35 didn’t get eaten wouldn’t recommend won’t be going there again

Ordered the lamb dhansak and it was beautiful came piping hot delivered to the door and the lamb was nice and soft too, chapati was perfect, definitely will be ordering from here again

Ordered chicken shashlick and chicken Madras. The chicken in the shashlick was really dry and hard in pieces, although the meat was tandoori it was brown on the inside definitely not chicken breast, cheap chicken thigh! Ordered garlic naans which were equally poor standard. Tasted like doughy pizza bases. Overpriced and over rated. Would definitely not recommend.

The Best place for an Indian in North Wales I’d say family run great food and vibes, absolute diamond in the dirt.

The food was incredible. It was my first time trying and I was really surprised. I got the masala with lamb chops and biryani with a mix of different meats. Both were amazing and come in big portions, but I liked the masala a lot more and highly recommend to get it. Be prepared to wait as everything is cooked fresh.

Fancied trying somewhere different for a takeaway had 2 absolutely disgusting chicken curry meals both me and my hubby ended up throwing our meals away. So disappointed with this meal especially after the rating it was showing. 1st time trying it never again. Didn't eat any of the curry's both of us ended up throwing it all in the bin. Chicken pieces was like rubber was wary of eating it to be honest. Wanted to try somewhere different won't do that again. Definitely not recommended, stick to our regulars at least we know what we're getting and were gona get a nice meal in future.

Ordered based on trip advisor review. Extremely disappointed:( 1 curry lacked flavour and tasted like a jar of curry sauce and the other was just heat and no taste. Rice lacked flavour and was clumped together along with the worst poppadoms sauce tray ive had from an Indian before. Nicest thing was the poppadoms. Not the best start as was also quoted 3 different prices from their website too speaking to them over phone, delivery driver no issues at all, was gutted as really looking forward to it .

Very friendly staff who greeted not long after we walked through the door and directed to our seat. Order was taken promptly and food was served in a timely manner. When food was served it was hot and thouroughly but not over cooked. There was plenty of flavour in the food. Food was playful and reasonably priced I would definately reccomend dining here.

Food really was bad, tasted awful, naan bread was rock hard, first bad meal I've had from here ;(

Polite friendly service but the food was abysmal. Rice was clumped and clearly not freshly cooked. Naan was more like a pizza bread and cold. Curry portions were smallest I’ve ever known - not served in balti dish but on a tiny oval plate. Sizzle plate meat was cremated. Disappointing.

Searching on the net for a nice Indian restaurant can always be a bit of a lottery. Good reviews, bad reviews bit of pot luck needed really !!!. Well this place is well worth the 5 stars I have given it , not very big but very welcoming. Didnt book but could easily have been turned away , instead we were welcomed to an empty table. Once sat down we quickly had our order taken and it soon arrived at the table . I couldn't fault any of the food or the service , if you do come don't forget to bring your own alcohol. We'll worth a visit if your in the area . Dont know if it was Asha that was serving us but I would give him another 5 stars for his quick and friendly way he dealt with a busy little restaurant. Top marks .

Went here with the family while holidaying. Food was excellent, staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the portion sizes were perfect. Decor, while not the main reason for going to a place, gave a very relaxed and welcoming vibe. Highly, highly recommend.

Ordered over the phone for delivery and it said £10.50 for the set meal for 1 so had two and an extraneous pweswari naan extra and my daughter got the food from the door and gave them £30 and only got a £2 change when...
