Rhyl Spice in Denbighshire

Had a takeaway from here while visiting the area (duck Jalfrezi). It was absolutely delicious and the people who run the restaurant were very helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have visited this Indian restaurant Rhyl Spice in the last 4 weeks. And I would just like to say along with my wife that this is the best Indian meal I've had for ages. We have been to many Indian restaurants around the country and abroad but this is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to. The food and customer service is excellent and would really recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for a nice meal in a very clean restaurant with quality food, Presentation of food is excellent, the service was excellent too, and we will be definitely going again in a few weeks time. We have been there twice. And both times we have had a lovely time. The food is fantastic. And the people that work there are so nice. And the Price is good. You get a lot for your money. I will definitely be going back.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, the food and the staff are equally amazing, if your are in the area and are looking for a great place to eat , make sure this place is on your list , it will not disappoint 😋. Needless to say we will be returning again to enjoy the amazing food and hospitality.

Fab meal, 5 of us ate here tonight, all had the set menu for 1 and really enjoyed, plenty to eat and very tasy. No alcohol served on the premises but happy for you to bring your own with no corkage fee.

We had a delightful dinner here this evening. The service was impeccable and the dishes were delicious. The staff were attentive and very considerate. The restaurant is nice and airy with comfortable seating throughout. The portions are generous and were brought out very quickly. During our dine-in, there were a few families with children who were also well catered for.

This is the best place for a curry around the Rhyl area we have been (and believe me we have tried them all) superb tasty curries staff very attentive you can bring your own drinks, and pay by card, will definitely be back. We have finally found an Indian restaurant that does curries on a par with what we were used to in the midlands well done Rhyl Spice see you soon.

Taken over by new management. Food took a little while to come out. However it had clearly been cooked to order. Really nice fresh ingredients. Nice staff. Would definitely go again. Well done Rhyl spice!

First time coming here when away for the week, one of the best currys I have had the chicken was cooked perfect staff and service very good and really good value for money on the meal deal.

Went to Rhyl spice for my husbands 65th birthday with our family 6 adults and 5 children The food was excellent and everyone said the same Staff are happy smiley and so friendly The place was clean You can take your own drink and they provide a glass Prices very good We had a mixture of curries and all were very good Can not fault anything and will be back This was our 3rd visit Thank you to all the staff for making it a lovely night

Could not fault the staff, the place, the atmosphere, the quality of polite service, the food and the price. We will be back hoping this place goes from strength to strength it deserves too.

Just had my first take away. Very impressed. I've had rogan josh for 30 years from different places. This is in my top 5 . Booking a table for 6 now . And you can take your own drink witch is a bonus with the price of win in restaurants these day. Might be our regular Indian in future. 👍👍

Best food in rhyl absolutely gorgeous food

Excellent service, delicious food, and take your own drinks. What's not to like. This is the first Indian restaurant that we know of that allows you to take your drinks. Back in staffordshire most Indian restaurants we're licensed, but allowed you to take your own. Consequently a night out was more affordable, enabling you to go there more often, and not only for special treats. Well done, Rhyl Spice .

Just had one of the best Indian curry's at rhyl spice Lovley place very happy staff. Can't do enough for you. Great atmosphere . Everything on the evening was excellent. We are now going to make it a monthly thing And the best bit is you take your own drink. 10 out of 10 for everything from rhyl spice. 👌👌👌

After we seen a few posts around we decided to give it a try . Loverly pleasant staff large portions of starters and main meals and very reasonable priced we will go again before we go home take your own drinks even better

Had a great takeaway meal from Rhyl spice after it was recommended to us by our caravan neighbours, good quality and a very tasty meal piping hot, good delivery time, will use regularly if they keep to this standard

The best thing about Rhyl is this splendid restaurant! The food is superb and tastes really fresh and carefully prepared. The paneer was fried off or tandoor cooked before adding to the curry. The onions had been slowly cooked in and spices were spot on, all resulting in a beautifully sweet flavour. Keema naans especially nice - one of best I’ve had. Brilliant service from the young staff. There was a family function on in one part of the restaurant which added to the atmosphere, giving the place a happy vibe. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Just had an excellent meal at Rhyl Spice. Meal for five people. The food was of top quality and I have eaten at some of the best Indian restaurants. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you and do not rush you….very friendly & professional. Immaculate and very trendy restaurant, great atmosphere. Plenty of food, in fact the staff were more than happy to pack up what we couldn’t manage to eat into food boxes for us to take home. Very extensive menu to cater for all including if you have any food allergies or intolerances. Prices were great. We will certainly be visiting it again. My family have been in the hospitality industry and we were very impressed. I can see this restaurant winning awards for the service they provide.

We were a bit sceptical when we arrived as there was no one else in the restaurant. But it was relatively early (about half 6 on a sunday). The restaurant isn't licensed but you can take your own alcohol if you wish (not sure if they charge corkage). But we were happy enough to just have soft drinks. Service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered a curry each and rice and Naan to share , the food was excellent! It took a little longer than some places to come but that's because it's clearly cooked fresh and that reflects in the taste and quality of the food! It arrived to the table Hot , well presented and packed full of flavour! I often find curry restaurants over priced and often there is more sauce that meat. This was not the case here , plenty of meat and good portions in general and fairly priced for the quality if food. Restaurant and toilets spotlessly clean. Would definitely return if we were near by again and would recommend.

What a fantastic restaurant. We were a group of 6 adults and had the best, yummiest Indian here ever. We all had different meals and everyone commented on how tasty there's was. The staff were so polite and attentive and the restaurant was spotless. The background music wasn't too loud and the atmosphere was really nice. We had starters and main courses however were too stuffed to eat desert. The portion sizes were perfect. We were all amazed at how reasonable the bill was which was topped off the entire evening. The best curry we've ever had and wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.

When we arrived the restaurant was empty, we did have an early booking but with a show on at the theatre and a Saturday I was expecting a few more tables, the restaurant actually filed up quite quickly. The service was very attentive and helpful with the menu, you take your own alcohol as they only serve soft drinks. All the food served was hot fresh and really tasty, I had a veggie Balti and it was full of different veg and the nicest I've had for a while, we really recommend this restaurant and will definitely come over again and bring friends.

I stopped here for a takeaway as they had been closed for some time. I moved to Rhyl 10 months ago and in that time I have come to the conclusion that there is NOWHERE in the town that can provide an edible meal to the citizens here. I noticed that an Indian restaurant had risen from the ashes, like a Phoenix, a Beacon on the horizon. I drove up and ordered the Lamb Shashlik Balti as a takeaway away, with Mushroom Rice. The meal itself was really tasty, The mushroom rice was nicely balanced, the lamb was cooked in a tasty sauce, with large grilled onion and peppers, which is expected in a shashlik. Surprising amount of onion but, although I only ate around a third of the onion, it has restored my faith in ordering takeaways in the town once again . I'm sure if I gave the people there a preference more suitable to my needs they would be more than happy to help. Rhyl Spice is my new favourite takeaway away.

Travelling the country with work I eat at many indian restaurants and this is one of the best. Very tasty, very fresh, very good.

Fine meal after a walk around Rhyl. Starting witj poppadoms and pickles, mains of korai lamb with chunky pepper and onions, chicken chilli massala with spicy green chillies, really good spinach aloo side, peas pillau rice, garlic naan. Each dish tasty, distinctive and super fresh. Non licensed so take your own wine or beer. Friendly staff and clean rest rooms. We were impressed - thanks

Well where shall I start !! First time going here for food, driven past several times and it looked amazing. Nice bright open plan restaurant with views to the kitchen area. We were heading for the premier inn or cook house but remembered how this place looked on passing by, so decided Indian it is for tea. We were greeted at the door by two well dressed guys and asked for a table for two. We were promptly taken to a window table and given some menus to browse. At this time the aroma from the kitchen was in the air and it was amazing !!! We decided on a special balti and a naga chicken, it came with the popadoms and chutneys, we had onion baghis to add with as a starter, the popadoms and chutneys arrived first and they were absolutely lovely, everything was crisp and fresh. Then the mains came out, delivered on a trolley to the table, omg the naga chicken packed a mighty hot punch !!! It was one of the best I’ve ever had. My partner had the special Balti which also was amazing full of flavours and the meat was cooked to perfection !! We had it with garlic and keemer nans which were home made and delicious !!! This was our first time here and the staff were friendly and very attentive, we weren’t rushed at all and even stopped for coffees after. Fantastic restaurant amazing food and brilliant staff. Just passing by and thought we would try and we were very happy with our decision, food was best round the area. Great atmosphere, service was excellent. Child friendly and very spacious you know what it’s like with kids. Very reasonable priced and can even take your own wine if you fancy a bottle with your meal. Will 100% be visiting again in the new year

We tried this place after going to the cinema. Really delicious food and reasonable prices. They don't sell alcohol but they told us we could buy some in the shop round the corner and bring it in. Attentive, friendly service.

This place has been closed for a while..a shame as it was nice last time we visited...we often passed wondering what was happening to it. So surprised to see it open for business..! Booked a table for that night. The two brothers waiting on were so polite and friendly. The premises were well lit, clean and warm. The menu was varied and very reasonably priced The food was lovely, plenty of it and very tasty. A really nice experience at Rhyl Spice. We will certainly visit again soon..and hopefully the business is a success.

Ordered delivery as my daughter recommended the place. Food arrived an hour late and wasn't even warm. Delivery boy hadn't got a clue that the food was an hour late. Tried ringing the number on Just Eat, even googled the restaurant and neither number worked. I try not to leave bad reviews because I appreciate how important good reviews are for small business, but this time I'm really annoyed and think everyone should know they are taking a chance ordering here. My daughter has had good service in the past but this was just abysmal. I'll be visiting the restaurant tomorrow to get my money back.

This was the worst food we've had, nearly ALL liquid, chicken tikka masala, but chicken was drowning, I had the chilli chicken masala , the same but hotter, we won't be going back.

Chicken was under cooked and pink in the middle restaurant refused to refund us

Had a really nice meal here last night with our friends. Ahmed looked after us and even went to the shop to buy our beers for us. Couldn't ask for better service and the food was delicious and plentiful at a very reasonable price. We will be back for sure. Thanks

Massive restaurant with plenty of sitting place nicely decorated. Good food too, had Tandoori chicken, although it was bit dry but taste was ok.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and have found the food to be fresh and delicious together with excellent service which cannot be faulted. However, last night we decided to order a takeaway. Having had such lovely meals at the restaurant on a couple of occasions we were looking forward to it. What a massive disappointment it turned out to be. The poppadoms were stale the onion bhaji’s were over cooked, dry and tasteless. The butter chicken tasted different to previous ones and the colour was off. All in all £38 not well spent. The quality between the restaurant and takeaway was unbelievable. The standard of food should be the same whether it dine in or takeaway. We will never eat here again!!

We turned up as a family of 5 and got pointed to a table that seated 4, the waiter didn't say a word to us. We asked to be moved to a other table that would seat 5. We was pointed to another 4 seater table so we just got another chair to sit on the end ourselves. The waiter was extremely rude, he never even greeted us upon entering the restaurant. We sat down and was asked how many poppadoms we would like and they acted surprised when we asked for 5, Im not really sure why. At that point we had had enough of the unbelievable rude attitudes of the 2 members of staff that were there and couldn't bare to sit through a meal with the way things were already going.First impressions go a long way. We decided we was not going to spend our hard earned money in a establishment that treats customers like they do. When leaving and telling them we was going else where they seemed to look surprised and confused as to why. I have never walked into a restaurant and been treated in this way. I would advise anyone wanting a nice Indian meal to find somewhere else to go other than this place unless you enjoy being treated like dirt then go ahead. I would give this place a rating of 0. We found another lovely restaurant that treated us like customers and served great food.

We’ve been here once before back in may when on holiday and the food was lovely so as we’re on holiday here again we thought we’d go for the Sunday buffet as advertised on the website unfortunately the fella explained it wasn’t on at present due to costs and staff etc gutted but hopefully by our next visit it will be back on . We had poppadoms with tray of chutneys onion bajiis veg samosas chick tikka masala chick biriyani keema naan all very tasty a coke and a water £35 bargain . Asked the fella if he would order us a taxi he offered to drive to our camp if he couldn’t get one which was pretty decent of him in the end tho he got the delivery driver to drop us off en route to a delivery now that’s what I call service .

I bought my partner here with me, and was greeted after a few seconds by a gentleman who reluctantly had to put down his phone to seat us..by pointing across the restaurant from his post. Starters were okay, the meat was slightly overcooked. The starters were cleared and the mains were bought over where I had to source cutlery from another table. I also was not asked how my food was at any point. Or offered a second drink even though I finished my first shortly after receiving my mains. The entire time the staff were negligent of the two tables here on a Monday night. Overall, I'd not recommend this place to anyone if they were visiting and wanted to enjoy good service and great food. Very disappointed in the service received

Stale poppadoms, Staff never spoke so rude, except the one from Manchester. Main meal was nice, only 2 more people in the restaurant besides us no wonder with miserable staff

The food wasn't bad, however we ordered before 10 and it took an hour and a half to arrive. We were contemplating cooking food in the oven when finally dinner arrived. I paid full price, however, found out half the meal items were missing such as the naan bread and mango chutney.

We usually have takeaways from various places but this was our 1st meal here even though we only live in Kimmel bay and to be honest we couldn't fault the place, clean, friendly staff and good service, will definitely visit again

We have been here many times. Usually the food is very good. Today they served us with stale popadoms. We asked them to change them and they brought ones that were even worse that they had tried to reheat. So we left and went elsewhere. Such a shame to get such bad service and bad quality food. You would think that they would have tried them before serving such wet and stale popadoms.

Was the only family in there and still waited over an hour and the food and the service was not as good as our visit last year.

Lovely meal. Food was excellent. Couldn't fault it and very reasonable. Well worth a visit if you want a good curry. Will definitely use again if we are in Rhyl again.

Anything decent in Rhyl was quite busy with the nearby places being fast food joints. A smart restaurant with good hosts and a menu that offers it's own specials with the Indian staples. Served in good time not fast or slow. Indian restaurants tend to get busier at pub closing times so early evenings are better if you want peace or are with children. Prices reasonable for good food.

Ate here tonight there was 10 off us the staff was amazing we had young children and they was great with them they couldn't do enough for us.. the food was absolutely beautiful everything we had was spot on and we all really enjoyed our meal..we really recommend this place to eat

Just had my first order from here, ordered over the phone for collection and the man was lovely! It was ready as soon as I got there and once again lovely staff. On my way home I got a call saying they'd forgotten one thing from my order, no problem so I headed back for it. When I got there they were waiting at the door and brought it straight to my car. Can't fault the service here and the food was absolutely amazing. I also applaud the use of reusable tubs for the food, cutting down on unnecessary waste. Great value for money and we will definitely be using Rhyl Spice as our regular takeaway. 100% recommend. The seating inside looked really nice and well kept as well. 😊

Popadoms 10/10 Cheese naan 9/10 lovely fresh cheese naan Mushroom rice 9/10 lovely mushroom rice Lamb rogan Josh 9/10, full of flavour . vegetable Madras. 8/10 because it was slightly too spicy for her but that’s what you get for ordering a spicy curry. The guy serving was really friendly had a nice chat, service was great. The venue is huge so could accommodate large numbers and very good location. So overall a 9/10 I’d come back here next time for sure and I’d recommend this place to others . Just make sure you stick within your limits when it comes to level of heat/spice

Food and service was excellent and the restaurant looked very clean. The only trouble was it was a Friday evening and for a while we were the only couple in there. We did notice other eateries and pubs were very quiet for a Friday. Maybe it's a covid thing....such a shame really.

A nice surprise, this one. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, seeing as we were the only people in the restaurant, but the food was absolutely spot on! Attentive and polite staff with quick service, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Scoring 4 as we were informed halfway through our meal that it was cash only, which meant we had to go to a local cash machine. It would've been nice to have been told this to begin with. Other than that, nice experience.

Walked around Rhyl looking for a sit down place, large well decorated family run space. Waiter was helpful and suggested dishes. Food took a little while perhaps NYE prep. Chicken Jalfrezi was nice as was the Peshawari nan. We were moved when a large noisy...

What an amazing meal. I am used to my local pubs attempt at chicken tikka masala that is ready in 5 mins. This was freshly cooked and was the best I’ve ever tasted. Drinks were a bit pricey but approx £50 for 2 with starters...
