Rozi's Tandoori House in Denbighshire

Food was very bland and watery, not much taste at all. I'd like garlic in my garlic chicken next time please. Not going to go on about it, but not for me unfortunately, but we tried it.

We have been here a few times. Called in last night (Sunday) As always it was first class. Being Mother's Day they gave all the ladies a single red rose which was a nice touch! Will be back soon

Haven't been here for years and was always amazing, got some food from here tonight and oh my god, it was absolutely beautiful, many thanks to the guys for some amazing food

Tried here for 1st time last year was really impressed on 1st visit so came back last night food was OK service wasn't great either

We popped in because we are on holiday. A look at the menu, a couple of pints of Cobra and I ordered the lamb Bombay Burner and garlic rice. It's a real hot one, try it, don't be scared! Had to have a couple more pints of Cobra because I got the taste! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Overall everything was great. Food was delicious, staff were extremely kind and went a extra mile to make my daughter's birthday special. We will definitely be coming back again!

Where does one start yes the beginning. Moved to Prestatyn in 2009 we had our first takeaway here and it was terrible I had a vindaloo and it tasted like chilli powder. I vowed would never visit again. Now then with the Panshee closed decided after reviews on this restaurant seemed good so decided to give it a visit. Ordered chicken tikka jalfrezi and chicken tikka nagga. Chicken in both tasted like compressed mush not a taste of tikka in sight. Chicken was sliced not in any type of form for a skewer. No sign of nagga green chillies or onions but chick peas. We tasted it and binned it the meal was horrible the worst we have ever had to pay for with great regret. So in 15 years nothing had changed. Panshee get them bloody doors open you are the best takeaway restaurant in North Wales and your loyal customers await you.

Great food and service at reasonable price

Had takeout for Christmas and it was absolutely delicious. Prawn doupiaza with pilau rice. Restaurant was busy, as was takeaway section, great atmosphere and friendly service.

Took 3 curries home, 2 were fine but had a mushroom madras for a change, that was watery and had an unsatisfactory taste and consistency. I wouldn't mind, but the price is still high for the takeout and the rice was particularly expensive for what you get. Will go again and see if this was a one off, as it has been a great place for years now. Hope it's not going downhill otherwise we might have to (go downhill) (local knowledge required).

Best curry house around here by a country mile.

First time I’ve been , 13 of visited. Service was excellent. Food arrived at the same time , really nice , everyone enjoyed their dishes. I had the Rozi’s mixed Balti, excellent. Thanks , we’ll be coming again.

A great local restaurant, tasty food overall. My lamb was a bit chewy, hence 4 stars, but all other food was delicious. We'll be back again soon!

The curry from here was like eating a frozen ready meal curry, it wasn't like a propper Indian curry

We went on a Saturday night and it was almost empty. 😒 Not surprised given the price of everything! One of the most expensive curry house I've been to in awhile. If they had been worth it I wouldn't have been so disappointed. The quality of the chicken in my wife's made the dish inedible. To be fair, they knocked it off the bill. Mediocre at best...

Always amazing food and fantastic staff. I've been going to Rozi's for 30 years, the is always what is expected and the staff are always welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble.

First time visit last week whilst staying on holiday. Excellent food, owner very receptive and staff very friendly

The place is tired looking, toilets a bit dirty and scruffy. Given cheap flat drinks. Needs a refurbishment, hasn't changed in over 20 years. Food is good, take out is much better. Place just looks tired , Shame as the staff are so friendly, they are just cutting corners and not spending the money to improve, Suhail looks like a palace compared to this place.

I have always enjoyed Rozi’s food but yesterday’s takeaway was awful - the fish dish I ordered was overdone and tasted like coconut - I left the rest. The vegetable sauce was over cooked and watery and no rice appeared with our meals. The poppadoms were broken. On the whole it was extremely disappointing and I doubt whether I’ll eat their food again.

If you're ever passing or holidaying in or near Prestatyn and you like your Indian curry's, it's a Must to eat in or takeaway from ROZI. We all have our favourite places but I must admit you will not be disappointed by far. It's on par with our favourite Shimla Palace at Wolseley Bridge near Rugeley. Ahmed who owns 7 restaurant around North Wales. His flagship opened in 1994 in Prestatyn where we was last night. By the way if going on a Friday / Saturday YOU MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE.

Chicken tikka sizzler was no sizzle was on a plate, garlic Nann had no garlic & madras sauce never seen hot.could if made better my self at home very disappointed ☹️

Bad experience of this restaurant...

We’ve eaten from here for as long as I can remember. Always receive a fantastic welcome from the brilliant staff. It’s almost as good as the consistently excellent food. We’ve never been disappointed. I really couldn’t praise or recommend the place highly enough.

Visited here again last Friday. The restaurant was a little quiet but takeaways were really popular. Personally I prefer to sit down in a busier restaurant than when we were there but that is my only minor criticism. Food and service were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Having been greeted with smiles this great welcome continued to when we ordered and enquired on their specials menu. I was warned beforehand that my choice was hot and spicy it arrived full of flavour, one of the best (and hottest) curries I have ever had, beautiful. For a family of 4 we loved our visit. Definitely the best option for curry in Prestatyn.

Lovely friendly staff food always amazing

We found this little gem as we walked round Prestatyn in search of dinner. Although the interior was a little dated we received good old fashioned high standard service. We were made to feel welcome, the service was very good and we were able to find food for everyone to enjoy as one of our group wanted English food! I enjoyed a lovely dish which I haven’t tried before but it was fantastic tasty without overpowering spices, I didn’t want the experience to end but I was stuffed. I was able to take a doggy bag home. Well done team for out great service and food thank you xx

Food was ok service was nonexistent we wanted more drinks part way through are meal but no one came to the table till we finished our meal but think this was a blessing as a pint of cobra was £8 and a single vodka lemonade £10 the drinks menu price for cobra says £4.50 so don’t go by the menu

Ordered some starter and sides. Starters were ok but chutneys were small and minimal choice, Stuffed paratha was awful and just stodgy and no taste. Unfortunately would not recommend

Ordered a takeaway 3/5/23. First time using this restaurant in Rhyl. The Lamb Madras, garlic rice, saag paneer, pashwari naan, poppadoms, onions, chutney were delicious. Its,a Yes from me 👍🏻😋

The food was OK, fine, as expected. My gripe is that it is WAY overpriced. £5 for a naan bread, £5 for a small plain rice, £20 for a curry dish. Worse still was the drinks £2.90 for concentrated orange out if a carton and the same for a tonic water. The staff were also a mixed bag. Disappointed

Marvelous food, Cobra beer spot on as well. Had the Welsh lamb curry with leeks and it was delicious, 10 out of 10. Great service in a relaxed atmosphere. 👏

Lovely food. We booked for an early evening meal. There were quite a few tables taken. The food was lovely. We had poppadoms and main meals. The service was great.

Very poor takeaway this time as passanda was strangely different and not very nice. Meat was very chewy and poor quality. Chutneys were minimal and small for price so would not recommend and will try elsewhere for the future

Just had our first takeaway from Rozis, don't know why we didn't do it sooner. Absolutely delicious food, meat & fish perfect, tastes were amazing. We had starters, mains and side dishes with a naan. Will definitely make this a regular treat.

Last night we took our two starving granddaughters to Rozi’s Indian Restaurant. From walking in the door we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was so lovely to the children and made sure that we received our meals in the shortest possible time. The children absolutely loved their Chicken Kormas and my husband and I also agreed that our meals were fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Have been using Rozi’s for about a month now. Order over the phone and collect myself. Chicken korma nice and creamy, and even though not on the menu they make me a chicken phall which tastes amazing. Poppadoms, garlic nan and selection of chutneys all very fresh. Friendly staff. Highly recommend .

Absolute rubbish. Rang twice to confirm booking and they couldn’t find that. Made to it in reception for to mins with people waiting for takeaways. Got my partners drink wrong. Food cold and bland. Not worth the money. Would not recommend going.

The curries and mushroom rice were really tasty. Three stars because, I was disappointed with what they charged for two glasses of soda water (£7.00 ) which is totally unacceptable. So what I would have normally have given them for service (15% £8.25), I used towards the water.

Having tried another popular curry house in town a few weeks ago and finding it average and a bit expensive we decided to try Rozi's. We went as a family of 2 adults and 2 teens both times and we all agreed Rozi's was far superior. All our 4 different dishes were, plentiful and delicious. Better value for money. Service was friendly and efficient too. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Not to be recommended!!!! The food didn't have any taste except for the koriander that was on top. The prices are also high for the food they serve you. The food i ordered was said to be really spicy but wasn't even a little bit.😕

Mediocre, good friendly staff, reasonable priced but the blandest main dish I've ever had to endure no spice dhansak,could of come out of a baby food jar. Starter was good though the chicken chat and byriani was good. Place is clean and busy so maybe I just picked really badly who knows. Sad but true

We stopped off here for a curry on Friday night. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and the food was superb, well worth a visit if you are in the area. Some nice wines on the menu too.

Wasn’t very impressed at all tandoori chicken massala was bland and butterfly king prawn starter lacked flavour however garlic fried rice was ok..when we went to collect order we was told pay with cash we would get a discount so we went to bank for...

Regular visitors to Prestatyn’s best and friendliest restaurant and takeaway. Nothing is ever to much trouble and any meal can be spiced up or calmed down, and if your stuck for choice they know their menu inside out and make great recommendations.

We have been visiting for many years and have visited on the 25th of December twice now. The food as always was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent with extras on the day.

Dodnt know what half the food was in the order, certainly not what was ordered and it was very bland

Got myself an tiki masala but when I had it. It was sweet it was dry and plain masala meant to be sweet chicken all good and tender.. but sauce not good! Nan was half there rest was like paper so 5/10.

Just home from a cracking anniversary Indian meal at Rozis in Prestatyn.. Food was the best we have tasted for a long time.. All freshly prepared... Staff were very friendly and helpful.. Couldn't fault it.

Starter was nice. Chicken done very well. My wife asked for a chicken dopiaza, i asked for a lamb kahri. It was clearly the same curry in the same sauce, they just put different meat in each one. If you know anything about curries you know that these 2 dishes are very different. Really disapointed as we heard good things.

WOW if you’re in Prestatyn this Indian restaurant/takeaway is a must. Brilliant service and first class food, you can also see the chefs in the back preparing your food.

Good curry and would recommend on that basis, but one guy left to cope with restaurant and takeaway made service a bit slow! Would still go back!!
