Rhyl Tandoori in Denbighshire

I can normally eat a chicken curry with a fork. With my madras I had to use a knife to cut the very over cooked meat. The sauce was tasty. The naan bread was more like naan filo pasty, no substance at all. The wife like her Biryani but the sauce was too hot. We will not be using this place again.

Always the best curry from here! Had the sag and it was amazing! Always fresh and full of flavour! Nice delivery drivers aswell!

The only nice item was the chips 🍟. The cheese omlettes were both swimming in oil…

First time trying and was not disappointed! Curries were lovely and portions were the perfect size. Would definitely order again!

What has happened to my favourite place. The last 3 times now the food is well below average. Very disappointed, the Balti was very watery and lacked any flavour. My Akbori Chicken tasted like it was cooked in salt. The naans were like wraps very flat and wet, the rice was cooked in a gallon of oil. the cost of it has gone up and the 15% collection was not take off. So yeah very disappointing meal. Won’t be using here anymore. Sorry.

Please in future do not give out refried chips. They were absolutely vile. It’s a shame because the rest of the food was lovely. The chips went straight in the bin.

Chicken biryani was just chicken and rice, not one vegetable in it, no egg, bland tasteless! Naan bread, soaky and starters not cooked properly! Top it off, 1hour 30 mins to be delivered

The curry had what I can only describe as 'loose liquid' throughout it. I had to drain mine in the sink before attempting to eat it. When combined with the rice, the mixture was soggy, watery and looked like a pint of water had been spilt on top. Very disappointed. Won't be ordering again I'm afraid.

The guy serving was nice and pleasant. However, the fried rice was pretty much boiled in oil and wasn't properly drained. The onion bahjis didn't come with a side salad. And some of the chicken in the chicken tikka masala was rubbery. In all I paid £17:80 for 1 person. It was worth nowhere near that.

The meat had no taste, and was chewy, the naan bread was burnt and the portions were small. Terrible

Here on holidays so took a chance and ordered hoping for the best. We ordered lots of different dishes, and every single one was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend ordering from them. 💯👍

I asked for freshly cooked chicken it was re-heated very dry & black around the edges. Phoned the manager to complain put the phone down on me most rude to say the least!! will never order again!!!!

Wow! We were so impressed! Easily the Indian take away delivery we've ever had if not the best full stop. Food was fresh, tasty and flavoursome and particularly impressed by the quality of the meat. The food arrived very quick especially considering the freshness and how warm the food was. We will definitely be ordering again.

The delivery driver knocked door and drove off and left food on doorstep, if we had not heard the door, we may still be waiting! We will not be ordering from Rhyl Tandoori again. Firstly the food was cold, we had ordered a Chicken Tikka Madras and Vindaloo. The first taste was enough, they had added dried chili powder which had not been cooked through. Both of the meals were so salty neither of us could eat our meals, what a total waste of money!!! Don't waste yours!

So average!! No idea why it has so many good reviews because what we received wasn’t the best. We’re here on holiday and out of all the places we chose this one. That was a mistake. We eat lots of curry back home in Manchester so know what curry should taste like. Tikka Masala was orange not red. Korma was a really miserable colour also and didn’t taste great, really lumpy. Vindaloo sauce like all other curry’s lacked taste. Both shaliks had 2 pieces of pepper in the whole tray, only bonus was lots of meat although not the best flavours. Salad bags looked old as the salad was brown. £50 for a meal for 3 that has left us still feeling hungry and really unsatisfied, Spend your money elsewhere Also like to edit the review the next morning to say my husband has been up all night being sick and on the toilet, baring in mind we’re staying in a caravan and haven’t been able to leave the caravan today he’s that bad

This is our go to takeaway for an Indian. Delivery is always quick and food hot. Can't say we've ever had a bad meal and we've ordered quite a lot over the last few years. Definitely the best around here (for us anyway)

Absolutely rubbish food. No taste, no flavours at all. Bangladeshi food, Bangladeshi cook...disguised as Indian takeaway. I know my food. Being an Indian, I know how my country's food tastes like. If the food is so so so bad then where does the reviews of 5 stars came from...fake ones? 🤔 Avoid at all costs.

Busy bank holiday and food was early. Hot and tasty. The only slight issue was the lamb was quite chewy and some gristle. Would not stop me trying here again all other elements were great

We have used Rhyl Tandoori for quite some time now and they always deliver the food piping hot and the order correct. The food is really tasty and not swimming in oil like some other places. The price is fair and the set meals are good value I think compared with other places. The staff delivering are always friendly and helpful too. I can't understand that negative review they must have got it mixed up with somewhere else.

First time I have used this take-away. The communication following placement of the order was excellent. Delivery driver arrived on time and was very courteous. My order consisted of the following items: Peshwari naan - comparatively small and thin but packed with flavour. Onion baaji - small, dehydrated and lacked flavour, at £3.40 did not represent value for money. Pilau Rice - average Shish Kebab - very spicy and flavoursome Vegetable rice - delicious *best I've tasted to date Chicken Dhansak - very flavoursome, plenty of chicken and pineapple Chicken Madras - very tasty, sweet but lacking a bit of heat. Overall - a very enjoyable meal and I wouldn't hesitate to use again. Thank you.
