The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

We've collected take out from here twice now the food has been excellent food both times. Very well priced for the area We're planning to eat in next time we go

The food is usually really good but the delivery times are ridiculous. Ordered the food at 7:15 and I’m still waiting for it at 9:15 at night, does it take longer than 2 hours to cook curry and deliver? Had this problem twice before won’t be ordering again.

Firstly I've given this rating on just the food alone as this was an online order from justeast. I've been generous with the atmosphere and service ratings (as I've never been to the restaurant). To the food, the sizzling chicken tikka I ordered was not cooked. Inedible. The Naga rice, which was nice included uncooked rice. Largely inedible. Will I order again, no.

Really echoing other reviews … Delicious , excellent quality food. Wonderful welcome and good old fashioned excellent service. Smart decor 10/10 all round.

We ate here for my father in laws 80th birthday yesterday, a table of 9. We were treated very well and looked after, the food was delicious and we left very happy. Big shout out to staff for helping my father in law in and out of the restaurant (he has Parkinson’s), facilitating a birthday cake and also for being able to cater well for my daughter with coeliac disease. They had many gluten free options and the poppadoms are gluten free! We will visit again soon.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) I visited Desi Bites in Leicester this evening and while the food was delicious, the customer service left a lot to be desired. The girl who took our order seemed a bit rude and not very polite. We had to wait quite a while for our food, and there wasn’t much in the way of customer interaction or a welcoming attitude. The food itself was tasty, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating, but the overall experience would have been much better if the staff were more friendly and attentive. Hope they improve their customer service soon!

Amazing food,driver very polite and kind

I've used Bombay Barn for years now. But after tonights service I'll not be using them again. Placed order at 7.30 and after a number of phone calls and being told order is with the driver and it wouldnt long. It turned up just after 10pm. Just warm and not very nice. But they did sent a free bottle of pop.

Ordered a takeaway. I've only recently moved to the area and had tried the other 2 curry places in Cardigan. I enjoyed both of those but this was by far the best. I'm vegetarian and the flavour of the food was lovely, with a really good mix of vegetables. They also deliver to over 3 miles away. They do charge a bit extra, but it was well worth it. It is now the only place I will go to for an Indian meal.

Fantastic food - good portions and the chicken chilli starter is always a winner 😋. I regularly come here and receive a consistent and quality meal. Keep up the good work 👍🏼.

This is our first takeaway since you reopened…..very disappointing There were just four prawns in our king prawn Madras and the sauce was hot and thin when it used yo be spicy and delicious. We left most of the rice and sauce. So sad, we have been having takeaways from here for many years. Will not use in future.
