Raw chicken in the dansak we ordered was completely pink inside was only offered another one to be sent out or free one here time. Completely ruined our meal

Excellent curry restaurant! Chicken was cooked perfectly.. Not grainy and chewy like some places. Great flavour, food came hot and they gave some complimentary condiments. Delivery was FREE via their website and it came bang on time. Will be ordering again

lush food free extra dish enough two people so enough for two days it was set meal for one. just one issue could been little hotter

I have lived in and near Portsmouth for many years , today was my first time eating at Indian Cottage . This is one of the best curries that I have had in Portsmouth / Southsea / Waterlooville area. Curry , full of flavour and spice with a real depth of taste. Succulent tender chicken . It was fantastic. Garlic Naan bread , delicious . A great combination of both pillowy soft and crispy in the parts where it should be. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal. The service was fabulous . This is a great place for a curry . I will certainly be returning .

Fantastic food and great service as usual

I’m giving this restaurant 5 stars, although I initially considered 4. The service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring we enjoyed every moment of our meal. The food was good overall. I must admit that when I think of a mixed grill, I expect it served sizzling with onions and the full shebang, but here it arrived plated instead. The butter chicken also included coconut which I wasn't expecting and which was on me for not checking the ingredients. However, the replacement dish of Punjabi chicken was an excellent recommendation, with just the right level of spice. There was a small oversight of not bringing water, but this was minor given the outstanding service. As a self-confessed foodie, I have high expectations ehen it comes to my food 😋

Went for a men's curry night with 27 others from our church. Good food and a good time was had by all. Lots of choice available on the set menus. Will definitely be going back.

Had a fantastic meal, taste sensations had from poppadoms & chutneys, starters and through to the delicious main courses. Really tasty spices and flavours. Different to most Indian restaurants which could he the himalayan influence. Highly recommended 👌
