Perfect meal as ever,never had a bad meal from this establishment,perfect and the best by far.

The lamb was tough and the Donner meat cut much too thick.

Usually decent food, but this latest meal was disgraceful. Cold, undercooked frozen chips, SF chicken was overcooked, cold and ropey, lamb tikka was too spicy to eat, chicken burgers were undercooked, tasteless, cold and processed, keema nan was cold, hard and virtually meat free. Ironically, the only edible part of the order were the free onion bhajis ! Oh, the mint/yoghurt sauce was nice, but not enough of it.

First time trying, due to all good reviews. However, Donna meat was over cooked, covered in onions (which was the salad), chips under cooked. Pizza also soggy on bottom and undercooked. Burger was nice. Overall probably wouldn’t order again.

The kebab meat was like rubber, chips were cold and the bhuna did not taste like any other bhuna ive had. Left a funny taste in my mouth.

Food was about 1 hour 30 before it was delivered. The food was cold and hardly any meat in the large container. Very bad service and not good value for money.

Tried for first time, we got korma and rice which was lovely, and a Cheeseburger pizza which was nice too, paid extra for donner on top but regret it as it had a funny after taste. Delivery time was good, rest of food was delicious aside from that.

I got a notification to say my order were on the way but arrived about 20-25 mins later, we only live down the road from the restaurant so obviously we were the last delivery and the food were soggy! Not many chips for a large! And the popadoms were in the same bag as the chips so by the time it got here they were like rubber! A lot of money for not very fresh food!

As always fantastic tasty food. Nilakash always make it extra spicy for me (ask in the notes) so I still get the great taste of the original curry with extra heat. Food was ready within 20 mins for collection.

We have been visiting Nilakash for MANY years. Over the last few years however, service has not been as good. Costs have increased but check when your order as rice is no longer included too and we weren't advised of this. We asked for less oil and salt which was never a problem, this was ignored. The food wasn't as high quality as we have come to expect. What with the increased delivery costs brought in prior to the cost of living crisis and the poorer quality food, we will not be ordering again. Thos was the best Indian food and brilliant service around at one time but not any more :(

After reading the many great reviews I feel sad writing this but the pizza smelt funny and tasted strange. We couldn’t eat it. Had one slice and ended up with stomach ache. Although Everything else we have previously ordered has been nice. :( delivery guy was really nice!

I did order a extra portion of rice. Which I never received. Didn't call as it would be too much messing about. Overall food is always brilliant from here. Always order my curries from here

Superb food neve let me down yet

Not often you find a very authentic tasting curry in my local area. This place didn't disappoint I tried it as a punt as my usual was a little far to drive and just wasn't feeling like a long drive. I would say quality is very good flavours are on point and tasty. All in all Just very happy will do a follow up review on my next visit when I try a few curries in one go. What I can say is I am looking forward to it.

WOW! Thank you! 100% the best take away indian meal I've enjoyed for as long as I can remember. Just a beautiful flavour that tasted of quality, experience and authenticity. Indian is my favourite and often with I'm left underwhelmed with average food and think I make better at home. This wasn't that at all. It was fresh and beautiful flavour. Not too oily. And the garlic naan bread was by far the best I've had from a take away. I always heat up for just a few mins at home and always think that makes a massive difference. Good excuse for a cold beer! Thanks again guys, will be ordering again soon..

Food was terrible, soggy under cooked chips, the meat on the mixed kebab was fridge cold in the middle!!!! Salad on the kebab is just onion

Curry tasted of pureed onions and little else. Not like any other Kahari I've ever eaten. Stodgy with no spice. I'm afraid I won't use again

I always order from Nilakash & I’m never disappointed like I have been when trying other Indian takeaways before! The curry sauce is always the right consistency & isn’t watery or greasy. I would recommend the chicken Bhuna as it’s super tasty with just the right bit of spice!

We have had meals from here before and they were much better. Tonight’s lacked flavour , the chicken was tough and potatoes only just cooked .

Use this establishment quite a lot,and the quality of food is perfect and would definitely not go anywhere else.

Love these guys. I’ve used them for a few years now and during the first lockdown they excelled themselves in customer service when I broke my ankle! Always offered to do my shopping and always asked if I needed anything. They deliver lovely food. Hot, tasty, on time and good value for money. My go to Indian takeaway.

Only one star as all the food arrived. Food was delayed. S.F chicken and pizza was burnt. Fish and chicken wings were covered in awful bright red colouring. Fish has a load of oil at the bottom of the container. Couldn't even tell the fish was fish - taste and looks wise. No one wanted to touch the chicken wings because of how horrendous they look. Burgers were frozen and bland. One of kids threw up the cheeseburger after 3 bites (wish I was kidding). Salad was given in a doggy bag. Donner and chicken tikka naan came wrapped in foil. Donner was cut so thick it wasn't cooked all the way through. Chips were gross. £50 order and not one thing was eaten fully. Absolutely disgusting food, do not order from here.

Lovely food the whole family enjoyed

Just had my first delivery in years and am so disappointed. The popadom are clearly shop bought re heated and burned, the raita is frozen onion with yogurt on top, the naan is undercooked and soggy and the chicken in the curry is processed. It’s all gone in the bin.

Food was only just warm when it arrived

Used the preorder option and selected a delivery slot. Very disappointed that estimated time was then +20mins and following a phone call our meal arrived 1hr later than requested. Fantastic food though!

First order tonight despite living down the road and being given numerous recommendations! Excellent curries. Not oily or greasy like some takeaways can be. Portions are generous and leave you full but not uncomfortably stuffed. Highly recommended. 👍

Ordered at 17.52. Delivered at 20.10. Nevermind delayed delivery (could have been busy given it’s NYE) but the quality of the food ordered (tarka daal and butter chicken) was appalling.. no taste or flavour whatsoever. The consistency of their ‘special’ curry spice reminded me of the blended veg soup. And lastly-salad.. a bag of cut onion with a few olives and lettuce. Would have been ashamed to serve this to the guests.. first and last order from this place.

Loved my food, used Nilakesh for years but noticed a big change over the months. The tastes are amazing. I had lamb Naga, the lamb was so tender and tasty, the pieces were a decent size, some places only use small pieces and you don't get the lamb taste, it's only sauce but Nilakesh have it right, a good mix of flavours. And the right amount of heat. Great starters too and fresh chapattis.

Ordered kebabs and it was very dry and hard. Naan was also hard underneath. Very disappointed.

Cold undercooked onion bhaji for starters. Then it was a game of find the chicken in the 1970’s style sauce. Very disappointed.

Food was a tad cold, nothing 1 minute in the microwave couldn't fix, food tasted good.

Says open at 5, sat outside till 5.45 then went elsewhere.
