The Tasty Dish in Wakefield

Always a cracking mixed kebab from the Tasty Dish.

Again, ordered with a 15-30 min delivery time but actually arrived nearly an hour after ordering and was cold.

the burger bun is burnt and dry and the chips are cold. won't be ordering again

By far the worst food I've had in wakefield so far... Haven't long moved here so trying to places nearly every day. I must say this is the worst. Asked for a chicken tikka masala. Got more like a balti. Opened the lid and was swimming in grease. pilau rice tasted like the 45p packet rice u get from tescos. Poppadoms was also covered in grease and under cooked. Where I am from I know what a curry taste like and think I would prefer a microwave curry. Not impressed. Won't be returning.

Plastic sheet in the burger was very unhappy with this normally good takeaway but don’t think it worth ordering again

I ordered a chicken korma on the website it says very mild and I got it was spicy and I had to throw most of it

Paid extra for a Diet Coke with my meal but was missing. Not the first time they’ve done this, it seems to be a thing they do to make more money out of the customer. CHECK YOU DRINK IS INCLUDED BEFORE DRIVER LEAVES.

Bit into my burger and almost ate what looks like part of a wire scourer!! Avoid

usually 5* food and delivery but this time of ordering it was a little disappointing. Food was over 30mins late and delivery driver didn't even apologise. Food was Luke warm and sent the wrong drink. Hoping it's a one off as this is our go-to takeaway

Great as always, huge portion, tasted great but I couldn't finish it because of the amount! 5 stars!

I order from here all the time and the food is lovely, I phoned to explain my child’s chicken burger was spicy and the man on the phone was screaming at me and been very rude! I could not explain what my call was regarding he was just shouting at me. I am still shocked and confused by his outburst!

Cold no salad called restaurant pizza was ok but kebab was awful got recommended to use this place buy a friend saying was best kebab going. Just please listen to instructions I even called coz my kids are elegiac to certain things question why asked for everything separate. Hopefully next time I order it will look has nice as what my friend had.. I work in a takeaway my self so I know to listen to instructions given thank you.

the extra cheese was put on the wrong pizza and no Peppers were added even though I paid extra for them .

The food was horrendous. Even our Cane Corso dog who eats more or less anything wouldn't touch any of it, from the chips to the kebab meat. all of the food was easily 2 days old. Do not recommend and neither does our dog 🐶 should be renamed Wakefield driest kebab. Appalling!

Food was stone cold, after late delivery, didn’t read my notes, food was awful kebab was gristly chips were undercooked and just outright bad quality, wanted to try something different today but can say for sure won’t be trying here again

Kept on ringing the shop and all I kept on getting told was 5 minutes, 5 minutes till the food is at my house. Over 45 minutes late we eventually got out food and it was cold.

I called for the collection but unfortunately I couldn't understand what the person was speaking. The person hung up the phone without even letting me finish ordering. Before hanging the phone I could hear him swear at me in Hindi language. Later on I called again and spoke to them in Hindi language then that person handed over the phone to someone else. I gave this 2 start because this second person was at least polite when he spoke to me. I didn't felt welcoming here at all. I lived 4 mins drive away from your doors and I order pizza every 4-5 days a week and you just lost this customer even without letting him try your foods.

Sent chicken when ordered a meat radish which I paid more for 🤷🏻‍♂️ but starters etc was nice

Why thu asking for two pound for delivery

food wasn't what I ordered and just won't accept my complaint because the food was put in the bin and they asked for a photoe more than 17 hours later

We’ve always had really nice food from Tasty Dish, however this order was not very nice at all the kebab was mushy with soggy naan and the curry was swimming in oil and definitely not a bhuna, taste and flavour of kebab very strange. The only thing eaten was the cheesy chips, really disappointing meal.

overall a very nice kebab did pre order and it was 20 mins late that's why I received it cold

Deliver was longer than estimated. Food and drinks were in same bag so the can of Pepsi was warm and sweaty. Sauce pots had gone all over and bust in the bag. All abit grim really. Tikka kebab tasted banging but definitely won’t be ordering again

Been buying food from here 20years or more used to be awesome went last night its now filthy staff are unclean really bad experience just eat was there doing photos for the Web site so as he made my food he passed her it to take a picture he never asked if it was OK she had no gloves or mask on,handling my food.food wasn't as good as it used to be overall a bad place won't be using again

I ordered a chicken tikka wrap and chips. I got a chicken wrap cold as winter. and they put cheese on my chips. and I did not ask for that. what a waste of money this place is. I would not be recommended this place at all.

This has always been my go to place for a kebab for years but this came late, cold, no chilli sauce or salad and much smaller portion. Phoned up and was told there very busy but no mention of rectifying the order. Never again!

Well i was disappointed with my order as I order cheese on my chips wich never happened and I was charged for it aswell so you need to sort yourself out and make sure that the food is right before you send it out abs Donna meat was cold and not what you expected from a takeaway

turned up cold and late. clames to be the biggest kebab in wakefield that feeds two people. wasn't even enough for one person.

Placed an order of several items but it was the kebabs that were a let down, everything else was nice. Paid extra for garlic naan with the doner kebab but it was just a normal naan. I very politely asked for the salad and sauce’s separate with the kebabs but they both came with salad on them and no sauces whatsoever so they were really dry with no sauce, also the chicken kebab naan bread was a bit burnt.

Nearly 2hrs waiting for delivery and there is no way that was Donner and chicken kebab Turkish kebab not impressed, so I won't be ordering again

Never in my life have I been sent a Donna meat in my food as a substitute for my meat biryani…. I pay the extra for mutton or lamb. Check what meat your are sent people, seemed to be the norm when I phoned to complain. Disappointed, waste of £45 as it all went in the bin barring the pizza.

We have ordered plenty and never had an issue till now. Took around 20 minutes to deliver after I got the message to say driver on way. Food was cold when it arrived and the chips were undercooked

Ordered a cheesy chips was basically no cheese

Hardly any chips, missing 3 onion rings and 2 mozzarella sticks. The stir fry kebab was not nice tasted like a Chinese sauce, ate half of a burger couldn't eat rest as it was caked in sauce, all of it ended up in the bin apart from the chicken burger

Curry tasteless and watery I ordered dopiaza hardly any onions and lots of gee on the top of the curry rice was nearly cold poppadoms were lush chapatti were hard like the had been toasted chips very oily

I was looking forward to trying 'the best kebab in Wakie' a try on my chips but got cheese instead. The cheeseburger and chips were spot on despite no Donner meat. The chapattis were excellent too.

I'd just like to say . I was a loyal customer. Ordering twice per week . The curry i ordered the last 2 times was flat cold amd shards of bone was found in the curry.. utterly horrendous 😢

This has gone down hill. Got a takeaway the chips and nan bread were cold, curry hot.. onion barges wasn't nice at all.. they only had to deliver few mins up the road ..
