My biggest bug bear is the Americanisation of our hospitality industry. However this place takes the biscuit. It is a burger joint where you go up to order and collect your food, there is no table service etc. and when you go to pay you are presented with a chip and pin machine with a suggested minimum option of 15%. As for the food, it’s brilliant. The burgers are juicy, the chips are crispy, the shakes are thick and tasty and, I was told, the hot dog was the best he had tasted. The staff behind the counter were friendly. I do hope the tips make their way to them rather than lining an owners pocket. I’d certainly go back but the ask of a 15% taste has left a bit of a sour taste. For what it’s worth I did leave a tip, but am kicking myself as I wouldn’t have done so in five guys or McDonalds, where the service and concept is the same. I guess if you do t ask you don’t get

Turned up today to grab some food. Restaurant is closed despite opening times stating otherwise on website. Tried to call. Phone number not recognised. They used to be really good when they were still in Lewisham. But now? Just said what they have become really.

Mi familia y yo decidimos ir a cenar honestamente el domingo. Es mi restaurante local el servicio siempre ha sido brillante, así que a la comida. Mi pareja y yo pedimos una hamburguesa de pollo, mi hija vegana y mi hijo una hamburguesa de ternera. Lo que me llamó la atención cuando llegó fue lo pequeño que era el gluten - bollo de hamburguesa libre y el pollo estaba muy delgado y demasiado cocinado. Mi compañero también comentó cuánto más pequeña era la porción de pollo. Mi hija dijo que su hamburguesa vegana también había reducido su tamaño. Era más como una porción de almuerzo que una cena. El servicio fue excelente como siempre, así que no me gustó hacer un escándalo, pero en esta ocasión la comida simplemente no entregó

One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Tasteless, poor quality bun, average meat. This place used to do delicious burgers. Would not return. What on earth are Byron management playing at? The serving staff however are very polite and fast.

Mi familia visitó GBK en Oxford a principios de abril de 2025 y realmente disfrutó de nuestra visita. Recibimos una cálida bienvenida del personal que interactuó con nuestros dos hijos ( 12 + 9 ) . Se les dieron menús infantiles que tenían rompecabezas en la parte posterior para que los completaran. La comida se pidió a través de una pequeña tableta en la mesa que era muy fácil de usar. Cuando llegó la comida no decepcionó. Todas nuestras hamburguesas eran excelentes. Disfrutamos de las hamburguesas Five Guys y estas son fácilmente tan buenas. Nos quedamos particularmente impresionados con el valor de las comidas de los niños. Cada uno tenía hamburguesas con queso, patatas fritas, palitos de verduras y un batido y era menos de £ 9 cada uno. El restaurante tiene un ambiente muy agradable y añadir a esta gran comida y personal amable es un lugar encantador para visitar.

Byron Burgers is easily one of my favourite burger restaurants to go to simply because the food does taste that good. I'm a huge fan of burgers and I've always said I could eat them every day for the rest of my life. I love the burgers they make here, so I recommend Byron for that at the very least. The downside is that I can finish their burgers in a few bites as they are quite small. Not only that, but they are expensive for what you are getting. On top of that, anything that you get you will have to pay extra for since the burgers come alone.

Spent £70 on order for delivery only to receive 2 milkshakes. Our entire food order was missing and all the GBK manager could advise is that I contact Uber eats. Absolutely appalling to say the least. This has been a common theme from this restaurant, and is seemingly getting worse. Whether the issue lies with GBK or Uber Eats, GBK could do more to acknowledge the issue, and follow through with mitigating repeat occurrences.
