Did you know? (I just discovered), Rick Astley’s music video She Wants to Dance with Me in 1988 was filmed at this location? I don’t know if the whole video was filmed here but the beginning of the video was definitely at this location when they get off the cab and walk inside this building. I figured this out when I was recently watching the video and noticed the street name (Tavistock) and the surrounding buildings as well as the number 33 when they walk in. Isn’t that right Owner? (just a little something for those Rickroll fans!)

Service was great, beer good and reasonably prices, however, the burger were not great, especially the brioche bun - was very dry and would just break during eating, looks like it was old and not toasted. Also, apparently (what we've been told), if you are paying by card anything on top of the bill amount and service charge goes to the restaurant and not to the staff.

So professional, busy but polite, turning the tables quickly pre-theatre - was told one would be free in 15 mins and we were stuffing our faces within 10 😄. Recommended. Our server, Lakshmi, was a star 💫

I had a fantastic meal at Byron, made even better by the wonderful team member Isilda, The burgers were perfectly cooked, the sides were delicious, and the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. Isilda was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Her excellent service truly stood out. Highly recommend both the food and the experience!

We had the lovely Isilda serve us who was so kind and friendly and very helpful with our order. She convinced my friend to try the Christmas burger and he loved it. The food was so tasty, our first time there and will definitely be back!

Usually the food is good. One server is lovely and we go there regularly. However when he is not present in the evening, the standard quickly drops!! Had a very cold chicken burger, cold fries, and 3 singular very very very terrible, cold and grey pigs in blankets for £6. Wouldn’t serve them to my worst enemy! Three tables of people at the time, so no grace for rubbish service and cold food. The staff were awful, unapologetic and could barely hold a brief conversation with customers. Wish I asked for a full refund tbh! Would never recommend!

The burgers are pretty good and so are the fries. The onion rings are a particular highlight. Our waitress was very friendly as well. The only thing it loses a star for was when we ordered a hard milkshake, the shot of rum it came with (an extra £2.50) was only 2/3s full, which was a bummer.

I recently visited Byron and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional service provided Issie. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my dining experience unforgettable. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they gave fantastic recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. They ensured every detail was perfect. Their genuine warmth and professionalism truly stood out, making the whole experience feel special. Byron is lucky to have such a dedicated and talented team member!

After an amazing morning at London transport museum, me and my son had the a lovely and so yummy lunch at byron. The burger are tasty and the price are fair, but the caring and lovely Isilda is what made all perfect. My son is autistic and usually staff member miss that patience but Isilda was kind and sweet and helped me accomodate my son with care and I even manage to enjoy a nice glass of wine!! Definitely a thank you to the chef for the food but a super thank you to Isilda that made my day an easy and joyful one. P.s. The salad topping was delicious

Great food, kids enjoyed it. Isilda our waitress was very polite. Considering how busy it was we didn't have to wait too long to be seated or for the food.

Recently came into Byron’s for a birthday meal. Food was amazing and our waitress Isilda was excellent very helpful with allergies information just a happy warm welcome throughout the time we spent in Byron’s. Will deffo come back!

On a crowded Saturday night, me and my family of 7 had a time restriction and no reservation. The manager quickly found us a solution and got us seated and fed. The food was amazing, and they had plenty of gluten free options!

Hamburger chain has not arrived here in Spain. Very well maintained premises, very good service and the burgers are delicious. Normal size but very tasty. It's London, so it's not cheap but you leave satisfied. I repeated so I could try a different one.

Food when it eventually arrived was cold. The staff were more interested in photographing customers Food on the hot plate we watched in astonishment as the food we were expected to pay for was manhandled for promotional purposes. When food eventually arrived we protested as it was stone cold, staff were not interested so we got up and walked out. Told them we were going and refused to pay for the drinks. The place was cold and void of any atmosphere. No apology even had the audacity to say the food being photographed was not ours when we could see it in full view.

Really good burger! I had the chilli Burger and the cheese bites which I can recommend both. The waiters were super friendly. Place can be a bit loud tbh but other than that no complaints.

Lights up the minute food arrived Still charged service charge. Don't accept custom if you're closing in 15 mins. It's unacceptable and ridiculous. Don't accept new customers if you can't properly cater. If you have to close. It's simple just say "you're closed." If you accept customers allow customers you've let in (within that 9.40 timeframe) to eat their food in peace within 30mins. As someone who works in the area and in hospitality for 15 years it's ridiculous. We're trying to eat while light blaring chairs are being stacked around us. We entered at 9.40. Was told the kitchen closes at 10. Customers should be allowed to 10.30 to eat if you're accepting people near 9.45. When I raised it with server he made a joke saying "it's like a club" lights up. I raised it with server when paying and she didn't really seem to care and had no real contrition and no offer of recompense. £50 down the drain for 15mins of rushing food because it was obvious they wanted the money and us out. Be better.

Best Service in entire London! They were so kind and considerate of allergies and the food was extremely delicious. We stumbled upon it on our trip through London and loved it. Greetings from Germany :)

Compared to last time we came (7 months ago), the portions have gotten much smaller and less filling. Shrinkflation has hit this Byron alot, but it’s still a good choice in London. 4/5

My friend and I came here for a quick bite before a show next door. I'm so happy we did- the food and the staff were magnificent. Both AJ and Sarah ( hope I have the names right) were professional, welcoming and incredibly friendly.. The burgers were amazing. I had the vegan clucky and it was possibly the nicest burger I've ever tasted. If I'm ever nearby I'm going back to Byron's for sure. Reasonably priced too. ♡

Busy evening in Covent Garden , they fitted me in without a reservation , service was great , burger and onion rings were really fresh and tasty ! As was the red wine ! Would definitely use again

Lovely service. The food was very tasty. We called in (a group of 8 ladies) and you were quick to arrange a suitable table for us. Your service was amazing and so friendly. It made our trip out to the theatre even more special.

I made, a, negative comment and received a reply which seamed to take my comment on board. You must give second chances and the milkshake as alread noted matched the best I'd tasted when I lived in America and eaten where real care was taken over the food.

Amazing staff and great burgers and milkshakes. It’s my regular now when the burger urge bites. I particularly like that I can order my chicken grilled instead of fried.

Really great food! We each ordered a different burger and side and everything was delicious. Despite being really busy, we only had to wait a few minutes for a table and the food came out fairly quickly also. You can order and pay via QR code or via waitstaff. Noisy atmosphere which made some conversation more difficult but otherwise everything was great!

The Beyond Meat patty was overcooked, leaving it dry and bitter. The veggie menu was limited, offering few options for vegetarians. At £16, the whole meal felt overpriced for what was served. If you're vegetarian, I would look elsewhere.

Probably the best burger in London

We just went to Byron as we did many times before but we haven't been for a while and we sadly realised there is no table service like before. The app is terrible, very difficult to order and the last thing we wanted in a restaurant to wait at the till for someone to take our order. Usually we went there before a play in Covent Garden but this time we miscalculated our time as it was taking ages to order our meal and we were almost late from the play so it wasn't the same experience as it was before and it was very upsetting that we had to run to be able to catch the play but at least the food was as much great as always. We might be back

Met up with a few very old friends and we had a great night - the service was brilliant, our waiter (didn't catch his name) was on his own covering the whole restaurant, but he was absolutely brilliant. He was friendly, helpful and efficient. He noted my friend had asked for halal and had ordered the chicken burger. She hadn't realised it included bacon, but he was straight on it and told her he'd make sure it was bacon-free. He then left us to sit chatting for ages, didn't fuss around or bother us and just let us get on with catching up. It was so refreshing because most places try to get you out as soon possible, but there was no pressure, instead he was happy for us to just stay as long as we wanted. He made our night very relaxing and calm, so thank you! The food was also amazing, the best burger I've had in ages. Will definitely be back there soon - my new favourite place in Covent garden.

This isn't Byrons. Byrons fan, been many times but things have changed for the worse. App or walk to counter ordering (Just come and take the order from the table like before) Take coleslaw off the menu as its not coleslaw, its just red cabbage. Tell the chef to not swamp your burgers in tomato sauce. Cheese used is now a cheap square, fries cold. Chicken strips taste bland. Burgers not so beefy, Toilets don't work, used disabled which were filthy, restaurant starting to look tired. Colombian looking waitress needs to smile. Did highlight to her it wasn't very good but nothing done about it. So not good and definitely not worth the money now. There competition is better. Please don't add your auto reply stating give us another try. I won't
