"Never judge a book by its cover" Do you know that phrase? Cause this is Hot Spot Burger & Grill.. Located on a side road, off the main highway near an industrial area, an old looking uninviting caravan from the outside.. With THE BEST Burger you will eat in the UK!! Seriously, with each bite you take - you can feel and taste the love and passion the chef is putting in each of his products. While we were there he came out to one of the costumers and built his burger to their tastes and favorite ingredients. Our Burgers were juicy, tender and full of flavours, the piri piri chips were amazing and the chef made us an English version to the "Big Mac sauce" (which he calls "Big Ben sauce") to dip the chips in and it was great. In the past 2 years of living and travelling in the UK and tasting local foods all around, this is by far the best Burger I have eaten. Also to mention the sweet staff that took our orders and the overall cheerful atmosphere you all had. Keep up with the passion of creating amazing food and being awesome.

We visited for my husband’s birthday. Excellent food and service, a lovely atmosphere, and the Tuesday “buy one meal get one half price” offer also made it great value for money. They even sang happy birthday to my husband when they brought out dessert - overall a really good experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Recently visited for the second time and their food is incredible. We're not local, and the first time we visited we didn't previously know anything about LJ Hugs. Whilst they were preparing our food, we chatted with the guys and they told us their story, and about being nominated for (and winning!) various awards. The whole atmosphere felt so chilled and friendly, we just knew we had to go back. When I recently re-visited, I was met with the same friendly service as we'd received a year ago. It's now our go-to place to eat in Bath, and can't wait to return in the future.

It was an early dinner as 6.pm was the only available slot allocated to us. We were allowed 2 hours for the booking. It was my wife’s birthday treat and I had let them know this. All the food we ordered was enjoyable and well presented. One of the servers appeared to be rushing us but not overtly. At 7.55 we were presented with the bill although we would like to have coffee to complete our evenings dining. Whilst aware of the end time of our dining slot, it would have been nice to finish our dinner properly. There was no one waiting for our table. We left at 8.00pm feeling slightly disappointed with the attitude of the server.

Fantastic range of cocktails, great value for money on the 2 for £14. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Get yourself to Mexicali too for food!

Phenomal food, burgers are top teir, great selection of salads and sauce. Service was great as well very polite and welcoming, Lynne even gave me free haggis on the burger which was unreal. Will be there every time I pass the retail park

If you want live music, cheap drinks and good vibes this is the right place for you! Me and my friends went for evening drinks, the staff were so friendly and the live music was so good. Definitely recommend

100 💫 stars: Best smoke house. My brother and I enjoyed it so much. The food, vibe, service everything were excellent. I wish we had this restaurant close to home in London. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I will revisit it when I come back.

I have been here many times. The best burgers I've ever had and the brewery tour is good too - lead by a passionate brewer. They do a range of excellent side dishes at good prices.
